Smiling, Xia Jinyuan looked at Ye Jian who seemed rather calm. Since she had done nothing wrong, she had no mental burden at all about the upcoming interview at the police station.
Indeed, she was carefree. It's not that she had done anything evil. Why should she feel scared?
Before entering the interrogation room, Ye Jian smiled calmly at him. And then, she entered the room with two police officers, a female and a male.
Xia Jinyuan stood outside for around three minutes before heading to the commissioner's office.
"Major Xia, take a seat," Commissioner Liu of the municipal police station greeted Xia Jinyuan warmly. From his tone, it's clear that they had known each other for years.
Commissioner Liu didn't sit down until he had made a cup of tea for Xia Jinyuan. "Leader Xia called me last night and I mentioned that I saw you at the police station yesterday. He said that he hoped that you would call him if you have time."
