'Not one less' was their promise to each other and also to themselves.
However, they were special forces soldiers who walked on the sharp blade of a knife. One day, they might fall off and the cold blade would pierce through their hearts… At that time, it would be eternal.
K7 muttered this promise in his mouth and remembered it in his heart. He looked at his comrades hugging each other and felt his cold heart burning.
Some people said that he was too cold and inhumane. It would be best if he went to the army to be reformed. He might be able to regain his emotions if he were to fight alongside the other soldiers.
He did not say no. A week later, someone sent him to the army.
How many years had passed? It had been eight years since he graduated from medical school at the age of 19. He had already turned 27.
