The place they agreed to wait at was a small flat piece of land in the mountains. There were trees around it to protect them from being discovered easily. Ye Jian sat down under the gazes of her comrades and lifted her clothes so that Zhou Yijin could see how injured she was.
When the clothes were lifted, Zhou Yijin saw that Ye Jian's waist was swollen and purple. Her hands were shaking as she looked up at K7.
K7's expression wasn't as serious as before. He reached out his hand and pressed on the bruise that formed a horizontal line. He asked Ye Jian how painful it was.
It didn't hurt much. K7 was relieved by her reply.
It looked scary, but it was alright.
Zhou Yijin didn't hear K7's reply, so she got anxious. "Is your injury very serious? Did you hurt your bones? This is your lumbar spine. Did you hurt your lumbar spine? It should be so painful that you can't even speak properly. Why are you saying that you're fine?"
