Dragged Away

In the depths of the alley, a person was walking hurriedly as if there was a terrifying monster behind him. In the blink of an eye, he turned into another alley. When he confirmed that there was no trouble, he leaned against the cold wall and gasped for breath. At the same time, he hurriedly knocked on the rusty iron door of his house.
The lights in the house were turned on. A woman answered from inside, "Coming." She opened the door and then opened the metal gate outside.
Before the door was fully opened, a frightened pedestrian squeezed in with a frightened look on their face. "Hurry into the house!" His voice was soft and hurried as if he was afraid of being seen.
The woman was startled. "What happened?" She turned off the lights.
