Xavier silently took a deep sigh, trying to put aside that matter. He would investigate later. For now, the important thing was to leave this place.
He glanced at Justin and instructed him to do something for him. After Justin confirmed his order, he left.
Xavier turned to see Iris in his arms. Seeing her slightly red eyes, as if she were holding back tears, broke his heart. It was rare for him to see her cry. She had only cried a few times since they had been in a relationship.
He gently raised his hand and gently stroked her warm cheek before saying, "My Darling, you don't have to worry about Finn and Mikael. They are powerful. They will not burn to ash, even if that fire swallows them..." He smiled to reassure her, although deep down, he felt awful about lying to her.
