Let's Decorate The Tree

Guan Xiao Ni cleary sees Wang Kai's ashen face as she invites Wang Ru to sit on the big comfortable sofa. Ignoring Wang Kai, she initiated a conversation with Wang Ru, "You come so late, I thought you wouldn't come."

Wang Ru smiles swiftly, answering "I, I'm still hesitating."

It was a clear show that he was nervous, to loosen up the atmosphere that seems to get chillier, NiNi invites Wang Ru to decorate the tree.

"Brother let's decorate the tree!" She grabs his hand and runs to the tree. Following NiNi's excited mood, Wang Ru moves his head to see Wang Kai.

His face is stern with a clear line of resentment drawn on his handsome face. Wang Ru notices his cold eyes, it was terrifying. He wonders what does he ate in the past to have the courage to provoke him.

Wang Ru takes out an angel ornament from the box, silently hang it on the tree as he let out his heart, "Thank You, really."

She looks at him, smiling, he looks at her back smiling in reply. They stay at that position for a few seconds before NiNi hit Wang Ru's shoulder and laughed. "Stop that dramatic lines, you are my friend now, Helping you is helping myself from troubles."

Their intimate gaze is witnessed by a figure in the dark, he gritted his teeth, his mind filled with a million ways to bring them apart. Raging with jealousy, he watched them hang the decoration on the tree.

Everybody on the Guan house quickly gathers in the living room with a mixed expression. everyone has a tense face the moment they saw Wang Ru beside Xiao Ni.

"What are you guys doing?" she was clearly confused, they were just solemnly decorating the Christmas tree then suddenly being surrounded with so many people.

Suddenly a big and strong hand pulls her hand, she falls into a warm embrace of...

Xiao Ni'sNi's face was 'What the hell?' but Guan Xian was too furious to notice it. The air was stiff with now Wang Ru surrounded with so many stern faces.

It put Wang Ru under pressure. Everybody used their unhappy face at him and he knows why. Everyone loves Xiao Ni and he has harm Xiao Ni several times. He deserves an unhappy face.

"Xiao Xian, what are you screaming about? eh... Wang Ru is here." Mother Guan's initially worried face turns into a confused expression. Father Guan who is standing not far behind his wife also has the same confused expression plus a furrowed brow.

Father Guan sees that his precious baby is safe under Guan Xian, thus he becomes calmer and asked his son, "What happen? why are you screaming?"

"Wang Kai said Xiao Ni wanted to elope with Wang Ru!" he answers without once taking off his eyes from Wang Ru. He was like a jaguar eyeing on his prey.

Then she felt a strong smell of vinegar behind Guan Xian, She peeks at Guan Xian behind and his eyes meet Wang Kai's deep eyes. He was expressionless like always but his eyes radiating the light of victory.

NiNi glare at him before she looks away and pushes Guan Xian.

"Brother what are you talking about? elopement? I invited Wang Ru and Yan Xi today because I need a specimen for my project. I made a cupcake yesterday, however, no one dare to eat it! So I invite them to try my cupcakes." Xiao Ni explains in fury as she sharply glaring at Wang Kai again.

"..." Yan Xi and Wang Ru, the subject of NiNi's research.

"Ah? You are not going to elope?" Guan Xian, hearing Xiao Ni's explanation started to feel gratitude instead to Wang Ru and Yan Xi. "bro, you are heroes.." he silently said in his heart.

No one wanted to eat Cupcakes with the mixtures of sour yuppies and spinach, made especially by Xiao Ni!

That girl can't even cook instant noodles without burning the pot!

Guan Xian turns his body to look at his sworn brother, he had a 'You need to explain this or else...' face. Wang Kai realized everyone's attention was now on him.

"Xiao Ni wanted to help Wang Ru, thus we decide to slowly befriend Wang Ru. We also have consulted with his physiatrist." Yan Xi answers swiftly, he notices Wang Kai has placed a green hoodie on the bed.

This color... green... did he wanted to reciprocate the green hat Xiao Ni give to him? Yan Xi felt like Wang Kai is too petty as he observes the hoodie.

"Christmas spirit." Wang Kai said coldly, seems to answer whatever question pop on Yan Xi's mind as he had to look at the hoodie for an amount of time.

Yan Xi glance again at Wang Kai who now had stood up with vines poping clearly on his forehead, he looks like he was ready to slaughter people.

Nini Roll her eyes before she stands up and wanted to ignore him again. "Che, old trick," NiNi mumbles, but then Wang Kai caught her wrist, with a smile on his face.

"Sit down, I will explain everything to you," he said with a soft tone, it makes Xiao Ni's heart soften too. However, she refuses to give in!

"Don't want to talk to you, if you want to explain then just explain, maybe I will hear it, but it doesn't mean I will forgive you!" NiNi said with the back facing Wang Kai.
