A week went quickly, and surprisingly Xiao Ni and Wang Kai haven't been fighting again. The next day when she woke up in their bedroom, Wang Kai has gone to the company. He did not leave any notes for her, so she was assuming he was still angry at her.

His whole face was dark. He did not even try to hide his anger in front of Xiao Ni. The pressure coming out from his expression is enough to make Xiao Ni distress.

"I was just talking casually to Senior Song because I was bored." Xiao Ni verbally talks to him for the first time in a week.

Maybe because he has long not heard her soothing voice and how she willing to explain, Wang Kai's anger disputes into half. He hummed and said, "I know"

Xiao Ni nods her head did now know how to continue the conversation. It's so funny how they could chatting nonstop in the past but now they did not have extra words to say to each other.

He continued his work afterward and Lulu closes the video call after the board the plane. What she doesn't expect is, Lulu will call Wang Kai afterward, and continue the video call.
