Rii’s new beginning

It had been several years since R1I-7R1Z was taken by the people in white clothing, the only things they remembered from that time were only small details, like that the roses blooming next to the path they were walking on, the screams of someone that seemed far-away or broken glass from a window.

They were too young to remember anything else. Not that they had any need to, they were living perfectly fine in the clean white room.

R1I-7R1Z didn't know how to read or write so they couldn't see what was written on the walls of the other rooms, they could see little glimpses of outside the room when they were looking into the small widow, on their tiptoes.

Not many people were on the same floor as them, only them, tall people wrapped in what looked like some sort of shiny grey thing and some occasional visitors, looking for what they called "slaves", R1I-7R1Z didn't know what that meant but it would surely mean something important or perhaps a secret, seeing as though, nobody ever came here.

One day the white clothed people gathered some other kids that had the same attire as R1I-7R1Z, but the number on their cheek was different then the one they had, 0001. One of the people in white clothing started to speak.

- You will all have a new type of test from today onwards, a social test, it will help us maintain discipline and order while making it so that your mental health does fall behind.

They talked firmly, saying that it wasn't for their own benefit but for their country and people, like they usually do before a difficult expriment.

And so the test began, a lot of children were split into their three groups, the low-passif, middle-strong and high-dangerous. R1I-7R1Z was in the middle-strong group due to their tests being more on the adaptation side of combat. They were then taken to another white room but a lot bigger, there was a big beacon-like structure in the middle and six of the tall,strong people standing by the locked doors. One of the people escorting the kids said something to the people guarding the doors and the opened them slowly, it seemed like the doors were quite heavy, it took two people to move one door even if they were very strong.

After opening them, the people in white clothing told the kids to go inside. All of the children ran inside, happy to see something new, all of them but R1I-7R1Z, they knew that something new meant, a new expriment. They sat in a corner and looked around, trying to memorize the number of people, the stronger ones and the ones that would die first if it was a trial to see who would resist to different types of situations.

From what they saw, their were 18 kids, 4 "guards"( that's what the others called the tall, strong looking people) and 3 scientists(also what the other kids called the people in white clothes).

The ones that were stronger then the others were, 0743, 0091 and 0122, it was the order in which they had arrived that was marked on their cheek like the one R1I-7R1Z had,0001, meaning that they were the first to arrive.

The ones that would die first weren't clear, all of the kids were pretty much on the same level, all of them except 0743,0091,0122 and R1I-7R1Z, R1I-7R1Z knew that they were strong from what the scientists talked about when they were near their room.

R1I-7R1Z could hear all of the discussions in the room ,due to one of the experiments, but one of them caught their attention.
