Ch.10- Easy information?

Kiwo smiled and patted the head of the small kid.

-Well well you've grown since the last time I saw you, next time I see you, you might even be as tall as me, Hanji. Kiwo said to the little kid who barely reached his waist. Oh, and how's your sister, haven't seen her since she began her knight training.

-She's been helping dad a lot these past few weeks, she wants to be helpful to the family. He said, while playing with his thumb.

Rii and Kiwo continued to talk to the little Hanji for some time while waiting for Mister Crimson. Suddenly, another child came rushing down the stairs, Rii looked at her and she looked at them, they made eye contact and a second later the child had disappeared into, presumably, her room. Rii thought she was odd. From what they saw, most people from this part of the empire had brown or black hair and either green, blue or brown eyes. But she had long bright red hair and beautiful yellow eyes with a very faint tint of green. A sense of deja vu came to them and their head hurt a little.

After the girl rushed down the stairs, a man came, he had a strong figure but he seemed shy. His face lit up as he saw Kiwo, he waved his hand as kiwo and smiled. He seemed as bright as the sun for a moment. He came down the stairs and started to do weird gestures with his hands, it seemed like some sort of language since Kiwo started to reply with his hands too.

Kiwo probably noticed that Rii was confused because he stopped and looked at them.

-What I'm doing is called sign language. It's a type of language for the people who can't speak and/or hear. Kiwo said as he made some mouvements with his hands, probably so Mister Crimson could know what they were talking about.

Rii understood better now that Kiwo had explained it and nodded their hand as a sign that they had understood.

-You see my friend can't hear so we talk with our hands so he can understand. He can also read lips but sign language is much easier for him. Maybe I can teach you later. Kiwo smiled and Rii nodded again. Kiwo went back to his hand conversation. Rii started to notice some signs that came back more than others and some from when Kiwo was talking to them. They tried to imitate Kiwo's mouvements and started to realise that it needed practice to memorise all those words. They were excited to learn more when they went back to Kiwo's house.

They "talked" a lot before Kiwo said, surprised.

-First knight Bittony!?

Rii shivered as they heard that name, they didn't know why but they remembered one of their memories.

[-The Boss always said that he didn't want to reveal his name, but who would have known that his name was fallius Bittony. One of the guards in front of the big "social" room (where Rii broke out) said. The other replied right after.

-Didn't you hear? It was the butler, his most trusted confidant, who divulged that information, he also said that the boss was a bastard child of that marquess Bittony and that's why he doesn't have magic.

-And how do YOU know that? Huh? The other said back.

-I'll have you know I was there when that gizer said it! ]

Rii didn't pay attention to it at that time but now she knew a valid secret of the 1st boss, the mastermind behind all those painful tests and suffering.

Kiwo seemed to think for a moment before asking some kind of hand question. That made Mister Crimson think. He shrugged his shoulders and walked to the stairs, he looked back and moved his hand, telling Kiwo and Rii to follow him. They all walked up the stairs and arrived in his office. It looked almost like Kiwo's, it was just more organised and there weren't any ,almost floating, bookshelves. There were just a lot of parchements in opened chests and on small shelves, it looked like they would all fall if there were to have even more on those shelves.
