chapter 11 - Bandit Kingdom

In the darkness of the night a kingdom stood brightly by the light of flame torches, the walls were made from wood and the homes were Nothing more than shacks and tents, but even in the dead of night the kingdom was lively.

drunkards walked the streets with prostitutes, the smell of Rutt and alcohol were the usual air of this kingdom.

the large chatter of gambling can be heard and cursing was ever present, this place was the most lively place on earth when it came to night, but at day they were busy doing their regular jobs.

this job is what they all shared and it was a job of crime, this kingdom was known for having the worst of the worst, assassins, slave traders, poison makers, bandits and so many more.

but even though they are all a bunch of criminals they all serve under one king who is a man feared by many, because of their fear they gave him loyalty and in return he gave them unity.

this king was a peak level 10 knight, he was no comparison to the king of RoseCrown Kingdom and was only protected from the kingdom by the large nightmare forest, its other neighboring kingdom was a demon kingdom, demons had no interest in human affairs and only seek to gain strength, they had no interest in destroying a weak kingdom full of criminals.

in a large tent of the bandit Kingdom the king sat by himself, next to him were many monster cores and elixirs, for years he have been trying to breakthrough to level 11, but it's harder said than done, it was almost as though he had to breakthrough a large wall made of solid steel with nothing but his bare hands.

his eyes were red from all the restless nights and his body was thin from the lack of food, he was only focused on breaking through as that would make things much easier for himself and his future.

after eating some pills he closed his eyes and the mana around him became distorted a few moments later he coughed heavily as blood was shot out of his mouth.

'I have failed again and again at raising my level, am I forever trapped at this state, no matter how many elixirs or monster cores I take it never got easier, will I forever just be known as the king of bandits, would I forever be the frog in the well, only able to concur this little bit of land' the bandit king seemed sad as he came to a realization, the strong and powerful king shed tears as he had finally gave up on his dream.

"ahhhh!"

"catch those damn monsters!!"

"they are to strong!"

noise can be heard outside of his tent but he paid no attention, the bandit Kingdom is normally like this at night.

"my king!, my king!!" suddenly these voices were heard at the entrance of the tent.

"what is it?, how dare you invade on my private grounds"

"I did not mean to my king, two large wolves broke into our kingdom walls from the nightmare forest" the man said outside of the kings tent as he dropped to his knees in fear.

"just two wolves, get the experts to deal with them, I don't remember having a bunch of weak men in my group" the king said.

the bandit Kingdom had a ranking of strength, under the king were the experts who were no weaker than level 8, they were always in the bandit Kingdom and are like that of the kings royal guards.

"my king, they are all drunk and the only expert available is Greg, but greg is a expert in training he is just a novice level 7, he cannot fight the two beast on his own" the man said as he hoped that his king would respond.

suddenly the tent was opened and the king of the bandits can be seen with that of a heavy ax.

his body became twice as large as two horns came out of his head, his skin became brown and was covered in a thin fur, his ears became long and pointed and his face resembled that of a bull.

"Bull Transformation" the king said as his body gave off that of a thick mana that suffocate those standing close to him.

his ear twitched as he heard the growling of the wolves in a direction, he sprinted off before jumping into the night's sky.

at the gate of the bandit Kingdom a hole can be seen in the wall and two large wolves stood by the wall, they were ox and max, ox was brown and max was black, they both were guarding john who was on the floor unconscious.

infront of them was that of a man that was severely wounded, he breathed heavily as he had tried his best to fight these wolves but they were to strong together.

moments later However the sound of whistling was heard as a large object dropped from the sky, the ground shaked before collapsing by the large object and dust was shot into the air, making it hard to see.

"only these little pets you called me for and you call yourself an expert in training" a heavy voice was heard in the dust before two large hands grabbed ox and max by the throat, they didn't even had time to react.

they were then lifted into the air as the grip around their throat became tighter.

the two wolves tried to fight back, they clawed and bite the bandit king but his skin was to tuff and was not damaged.

"father!" suddenly a voice was heard from behind, a girl with blonde hair can be seen running forward as she held up her long dress.

"father don't kill them" she said before reaching her fathers side.

"I want to tame them and use them to strengthen our kingdom, they are close to breakthrough to level 4 so they will be as strong as our experts soon" she said as she looked her father in the eyes.

the king had no choice but to listen to his daughter she was a level 2 wizard her ability was tame, she was able to tame monsters and beast that were under the level of 5, but it's risky trying to tame monsters so her strongest monster is only a novice level 3.

this was the kings only daughter, he loved her alot, and would do anything to make her happy.

he let go the wolves to satisfy his daughter, who in return smiled at her father, however the wolves ran to the side of the unconscious john to protect him, the king noticed this and sighed.

"it seems that you won't be able to tame them my daughter, these beast already have their owner" the bandit king said as he realized that the wolves was not a threat and were only protecting their owner.

the girl sighed as well, this was the flaw to her power she cannot tame another person's beast.

"get me a cage large enough to hold these three until they wake" the king said as he sent a outburst of his mana to the wolves, ox and max could not resist and fell unconscious.
