Definite Déjà vu moment right here. Eclipse thought, staring at the Deities looking down at him from the podium that surrounded him. 

Surprisingly, there are a lot more people than he thought there were going to be. But, from what Sola told him, this is a good thing. He needs to appeal to as many of them as possible to get off with a lighter punishment. 

Again, he still does not know why he is doing this, at all. And part of him does not believe that he is going to be able to appeal to them but Sola was asking him to do something and, call it a fault all you want, Eclipse finds it hard to say 'no' when someone is wholeheartedly putting their faith in him like that. 

Besides, even if this does not go in the way Sola wants it to, no matter what that might look like because Eclipse still does not completely trust the Deity, even if he really wants to.
