Chapter 63

"Nova! Tyson! Give me my brother back!" Hide shouted as loud as he could. His voice echoing far and wide. Blasts of cold air being sent forth from his body that caused everything around him to be frozen instantly. It was hard for him to control the temperature of his body due to the state of his emotions.

"Hide! Are you trying to kill everyone including your own brother? Get a hold of yourself!" Tyson shouted as he slowly walked out of the castle doors to stare the man down that had blown his way through the wall with Kosha's armored car. It was clear to Tyson that Hide was not thinking clearly due to his younger twin brother being locked away.

"Where's Nova?!" Hide shouted once more at Tyson as they stared intently at each other. Trying to understand each other's actions neither one of them could understand what the other was planning to do. For the both of them it was like trying to solve a rubix cube to decipher what was on their mind.

"He's alive." Tyson stated simply to help the man calm down a bit. If Hide did not calm down soon it seemed like he would freeze the entire castle from top to bottom.

"Give. Him. Back." Hide said each word slow and heavy. He was not planning to relax any time soon as long as Nova was not in his sights. Crackling sounds could be heard from his hand as his fingers slowly moved. Sweat on his palms had turned to ice and broke as his hands moved.

"He broke into the castle.. Tried to assassinate someone.. and attacked me personally. Do you have any idea how little I want to release him right now?" Tyson asked as he slowly walked further in Hide's direction. Holding his dual blade in one hand as he kept a cautious eye on Hide he tried to talk to the man.

Hide felt as if Tyson was toying with him. Glancing around he could see hundreds of people around the castle from spirits to living survivors among Numen's Garden that were watching him and Tyson converse. But there was no sign of Nova in his sight. Gritting his teeth he contemplated his further actions with determination to find his brother.

"Kill anyone who gets in the way. I wont leave my brother behind." Hide spoke over his shoulder at the Loli standing atop her armored car in a stern tone.

"You got it, Hide~!" She smiled and hopped down onto the frozen grass.

Making her way over to Hide she held her heavy gun up and pointed it in the direction of the people standing in front of them. With a gentle smile and sweet sounding giggle her blue eyes took target. Her skirt fluttering about the wind as the weapon powered itself up in her hands. Without looking up at Hide, the weapon fired straight ahead killing multiple people instantly as a bright, loud, explosion took place in the castle's yard. Dirt, ice, and blood scattering about the air all around like a hideous rain that could make one's stomach churn.

"If he's alive head to the cells first. They must be holding him there." Hide muttered down at the little Loli. Her blue eyes gazing up at him as he spoke. Giving her time to go and find his brother he would take whatever time he needed to distract the others while Nova and Kosha could escape.

"Yes! To Nova! What about you?" She smirked with joy at the thought of reuniting with their lost group member.

"Just take care of my idiot brother. I'll catch up to you guys later. Trust me." Hide's voice was calm and smooth in her ears as she held her weapon tight. Listening to the orders she had received from Hide the girl dashed off quickly into the distance leaving him to stand alone in front of Tyson and the others.

Tyson could see the determination in Hide to find Nova that he had once had himself. Over the years that determination to find his sister had become more of an obsession. It was an obsession to destroy the god that had taken it all from him. Thinking about it all made him feel as if he was watching himself. Though he knew it was entirely different it still felt similar and gave him a bad taste in his mouth. If it had been him in Hide's position he probably would have done the same.

"You're not even going to talk about this are you?" Tyson asked Hide as they stood in front of each other. Both of them filled with a hatred towards the other. Whether it was Hide's group for trying to assassinate Chi or Tyson's side for taking Nova hostage in a cell. They both had a reason to dislike the other.

"What's there to talk about when we both know I have no say over this situation. If you don't kill me then simply he will in the end.. As long as my brother is safe from you and him.. I will do what I must." Hide said as ice started to form its way from his hand slowly up along his arm til it reached his shoulder and stopped.

Yes.. Numen's Garden does not give one choices in their life.. Where there is joy one is sure to find nothing but heartache in the end... Tyson thought to himself as he stood there watching Hide prepare himself. Hope was visible in Hide's eyes to Tyson as he gazed at the man. Something he had long lost and yet looked so familiar.

Forget it.. I don't have time to be thinking like this. Tyson sighed heavily as he readied his own weapon in hand. He did not want to fight with Hide because he knew it was a waste of Hide's talent to work for Zeref but there was no convincing the man to listen to him. Hide was too enraged over his brother to listen to a word that came from Tyson.

"Such a waste of talent.." Tyson muttered under his breath. "But if it's death you seek. I will gladly let you meet with it."

"Hah? We'll see who meets with death." Hide smirked slightly as he tried to shake off his own nervousness. He knew that Tyson was a skilled survivor and the longest living one among them all. A cold waft of air swept across the terrain and circled around Hide's hand taking shape as ice slowly formed into the shape of a sword.

Wielding a sword made entirely of solid ice, Hide shot forth as specks of ice fell from his body.
