" come on Lyra, not the edge", 

" Please Cora, just a peep",

" You can't look down from the top of a mountain, what if you have a phobia for height, what is it called again",

" It acrophobia grandma, you asked that everyday", 

" How do you learn all does stuff, it mostly going to crash my brain", 

" That because you're lazy in learning new things grandma", Cora gasped dramatically placing her hands on her chest.

"Really, but I took care of you alone, you still think am lazy", 

" My apologies Cora", little Lyra said moving from the edge of the cliff.

 " Now get down, we need to get to Moongrove before it gets dark", Cora laced their hands moving little Lyra away from the cliff.

" Cora", Lyra called softly afraid of her grandma's response.

" Yes little one", 

" Why can't we stay in town?", Lyra asked her voice quivering.

" You'll know when we get to Moongroove town". They walk silently non of them uttering a word. It was nightish when they make it to Moongroove gate.

" Show your card's", A bulky guard was asking those entering the town, " Am here for business check out my goods", the man opens his shoulder rag bag showing different kinds of hair clips and bangles. " You can go now", the guard said after taking a good look of the items in the bag. 

" Cora, it our turn", Lyra dragged her grandma forward who was lost in looking for someone.

 " Move it old hag, we're in line", someone shouted from the crowd when Cora showed no sign of moving.

" If you're not entering, move to the side oldie", another said pushing Cora a bit, 

" Hey you stupid Lycan, watch it, that my Grandma", Lyra glared at the man behind her Cora. " Watch it young girl, you not enough for my dinner". He said pointing at Lyra. " You think am those toddler's you get for dinner by your witch mate, I'll choke you to death". The man was furious and move towards her ready to hit her.

" Hey what wrong here", a guard came over glaring at the man, Cora was lost in who ever she's looking for ignorant to all the shouting and was brought back when Lyra dragged her forcefully.

" Cora, let's go, it our turn those behind are getting restless", she said dragging her forcefully toward the gate. 

" Your card", the guard at the gate stopped them,

" Tourist", she said glancing behind her, Lyra has gotten enough of her grandma's distracted state. 

" What wrong Cora, you're being suspicious right now, the guards been staring at you", she whispered softly. Cora looked at the guard and indeed his staring at her.

" It our first time, here to buy some goods",

" Open your bags", the guard said pointing at their bags which contains a piece of clothing and food. " You can go",

" Thank you foxie", Lyra waved at the guard. The guard looks at her suprised of how she knows his a fox, he waved back smiling at her.

" You can't just tell everyone what they're because you know what they're Lyra, some might get offended", Cora held her hand while entering through the gate.

Even though it night, the town was not as quiet as it should be at night, buzzing of people everywhere, vendors advertising their goods, kids playing on the streets, men drinking by the sideways, women chattering and gossipping. The town looks so peaceful and beautiful, different creatures mingling with out a care of being a prey close to a predator. 

" Grandma look at those clothes I want them", Lyra rushed to a woman folding up clothing.

" No Lyra, we're here to get food and that all",

" But I love this dress grandma, I want to look like a princess in the castle", she said raising one of the dress to show Cora.

" It not expensive, you can get them for her", said the woman selling the clothing. " Sorry but we're here just for food", Cora was saying when something suddenly beeb in her bag, she look at Lyra hesitantly.

" Take a look at the dress you want, when am back I'll get it for you but you have to promise me you'd stay here and wait for me, you get that", she said holding Lyra ears.

Lyra nodded her head jumping up in excitement as she ran into the clothing store.

" It okay Cora, I'll look after her, you don't have to worry, you can go do your business",

" Thank you Agnes, I have alot to sort out, I know it important when Luis called",

" I know, it such a burden being in hidden for so long", Agnes said patting her shoulder, she smiles softly before she hugged her tightly. They checked for sign of Lyra looking but she was already deep in checking the dresses.

" It being long sister", Cora said hugging her just as tight blinking back tears.

" It sure is but I understand, is the princess showing any signs of supernatural powers as the oracle presume", 

" Not much but she seems to know what the person is in their human form and she can also tell them their mate". Cora said worried.

" We'll sort out everything, just be careful", Agnes said softly. 

Cora nods her head checking Lyra who was busy trying every dress in the store happily. Cora draped a black robe over her dress using the cap to hide her face. She went into an alleyway, it was a bit dark but she can readout a figure hunched on his knees.

" Luis", Cora called in a shaky voice as she ran to him, he wrapped his arms around her tightly burying her in his broad chest, he buried his face in her neck and inhaled softly, " I missed you Cora", he said in a whisper.

" I missed you the most Luis", he tighten his hold around her and place a soft kiss to her neck. 

" You called, is everything okay, you were late I've been looking for you at the gate", She asked still snuggled in his chest. 

" Have an issue on the way, it not bad thou", he takes her face in his palm and place a gentle kiss to her forehead.

" They know about Ethan", his voice quiver in fear " I don't know if it for good or bad". 

 " My son", Cora said with tears in her eyes.

" It'll be okay, he'll be fine, they don't know am your mate yet, I'll volunteer to look after him when the oracle deem him a traitors son". He said wiping a drop of tears from her face. 

" Does he know you're ", understanding what she wanted to ask, he nodded his head in assurance.

" He knows Cora, and he choose to keep it a secret also, he loves you a lot and his proud to be your son, he always said he can't wait to meet the precious who turned his mother into a hero", he said smiling sweetly.

" I came to warn you thou, the oracle knows about the princess being alive, Alpha Sylvan have sends the best trained warriors in search of you and the princess, the situation in the palace is somewhat critical, the Alpha is suspecting me, it'll be a while but I'll get back to you", he said holding her face in his palm.

" Be careful out there, we'll be fine Luis", 

" Am just scared, I don't want to loose you Cora, our son needs you, he needs to know how much you care and wants him". Cora nodded her head. She brought out a golden Necklace with a White wolf pendant.

" Give him this, tell him I love him and I'll always will", she gave Luis the necklace. He palmed her face affectionately placing a gentle kiss to her lips. 

" Deepened it Luis, you won't get a chance to kiss your mate again". A voice suddenly startle them, Luis closed his eyes, he knows the owner of this voice, as expected they were following him, he taught he lost them at Moonrise city before he left for Moongroove, even with the disguise they still get to find him.
