Where it all began

LINDA:

Let me start at the beginning, I was born and raised in Africa (south Africa) . I am linda msane ,18 years of age thismy last year of school.

Today it Monday, like everyone I hate Mondays my mom just got in ..

Mom: Linda wake up( I just look at her)

Me: am already awake okay

Mom: oh okay ,so today I will be a little late I have a doctor's appointment remember?

Me: yes( my mom have blood cancer it's been 6 months since she found out and she is the only parent am left with apparently )

I just look at her with my worried eyes.

Mom: don't worry baby I will be fine

Me: but ma,it seems like you're getting worser.

Her: I will be okay baby,I need you to have hope.

Well I have hope that she be fine but sometimes I feel like God is planning to take her sonner then I expected..

Me: promise?

Her: I promise,now wake up and go to school and make mama proud ( she smile) .

Me: okay ( rolling my eyes)

She walked out and went straight to the bathroom . Someone started calling me "Linda,linda" with the voice recognition it's my best friend,my only friend actually sisanda we've been friends since primary.

Sisa: Linda...

Me: Hey ,am not done dude

Sisa: hurry then we gonna be late I don't wanna deal with Mr Jacobs.( She is rolling her eyes)

Me: okay...

I finished and the school bus was already there, we got inside the only space that left is next Musa browns ,he is the best ruby player and he is the most handsome guy in school but mostly importantly my friend's biggest crush. I really think he is overrated in some ways but his sexy blue eyes says all and his body is build perfectly with his brown skin OMG.i don't know why he's here because ussually he ride his bake or board and car . We're heading to the sit ,he just smile at us ..

Musa: Hey ladies wanna sit, (sisa set next to him and I just set next her)

Sisa: thanks , you're such a gentleman.( She smile at him)

Him: pleasure,so your friend doesn't talk?

...my eyes opened widely and I couldn't talk now my voice was really disappointing me.

Me: I ... I do

Him: you do what?

He then looked me I just lost it I mean he's my friend's crush not mine..

Me: talk

The bus stops and sisa walks away..wait is she mad??

Me: sisanda .....sisa (she immediately stops)

Her: you know what ??

Me : what ??

Her: when am I gonna have a guy that likes me , everytime they are in you ...

Me: mmmh ( with confusion)

Her: I mean everytime I feel like am living under your shadow..and you're so beautiful and I am ugly as f.

Me: ugly ?? No ,look sisa you're beautiful . You're smart and intelligent.. you're anything a guy could ask for ..

Her: but no one have asked me out ..

Me: then they are all fools...

I smiled

Her: am so sorry for being mad for nothing..

Me : it's okay, now let go before we get late for class.

It's the afternoon, I just got home . Looking at the family album, thinking that I might loose another love one..in few years ago were 4 family members..my dad who divorced mom and left forever and my older brother Nkazi he is in Australia, he never called he just disappeared I don't know why same as my dad. I always ask mom and she always tell me that am too young to understand.
