Reaching Out

A boy left all alone in the world after being abandoned by his mother in a poor clan that treated him harshly because he started showing signs of being different from other kids and the people around him. With him being ostracized more and more he became less and less of the cheerful young kid he use to be until eventually turning discreet and mute around others in hopes that they would stop being scared of him. Though that plan never worked out for him and, in the end he was left to strive on his own as best as he could in the environment he was left in. He explored the towns library and any books he could find in his Clan even if they were useless. Years on years of doing such things eventually led him into stumbling across a book that would help push him towards the thing he wanted the most. "The Basic Guide To The Astral Path" This book may not of been special to anyone in the long run but, it was to him because, it was his new beginning. With this new path available to him would he be able to push through all the obstacles and hardships waiting for him or in the end will he stumble and fall? Or will people be there to catch him if he does once again?

Take Control

Running away from the girl in the hallway Xilo tried to gain as much distance as he could from her and everyone else. "So she's here." Remembering Tearia's face hate filled his mind however he really didn't know what he wanted to do about her just yet. "Stupid, stupid." Turning another random corner Xilo didn't really pay attention to his surroundings or anything else as he ran. The only thing that mattered was the distance he put between them. "I'm...." Ignoring even potential treasure Xilo stumbled into a dead end finally with nowhere else to go.

"Hmmm?"

With nowhere else to run he began to calm down a little bit as he checked his surroundings for people following him but it was only him there. No other person even appeared remotely near his location. "How much did I run?" Looking at the wall in front of him, he wondered what to do now that his mind calmed itself with time. "I did find that locked box." Grabbing a solid black box from his bag he brought it up to eye level and examined it again. "So where could the key possibly be." Using it as a distraction he tried to think of ways to open it but it seemed pretty unbreakable.

"Even if I could open it, what happens if I damage whatever's inside in the process, It would be pointless then."

It was only about the size of his hand all together but he was sure whatever was locked away in there this securely was valuable. "Or important...." Sighing he shoved it back into his bag for now as he tried to figure out where he was. "Tearia...Xelfia..." He had probably ran for a good ten minutes so he had to have not gotten far. "I think I passed a staircase before." Not too sure of his memory he retraced his steps just looking to get off this floor. For now anywhere else was better for Xilo.

"Ahh, here it is."

Pausing he hesitated on whether to go down the stairs or not but it wasn't like he had much better options. "I'm sure people have already gotten deeper into this place." He had been in that area for quite some time so now he needed to make up for it anyway he could. "I guess this is it." Taking one step down he followed the stairs all the way down until he reached the ground level again. "To go deeper or not is the question now." Staring at the stairs that continued to go down he quickly made his decision as he descended another floor not really paying attention to his surroundings. Aimlessly walking he made it to the bottom as he turned a corner somewhat absent mindedly and felt himself knock into someone.

""Ow.""

Feeling a body knock into him suddenly he saw another person recoiling in pain as they stumbled backwards. "oh boy...More trouble." Whoever the man he bumped into was, he didn't look happy. Flying out the door Tearia felt a little overwhelmed at the moment but she didn't really have control of the situation. "What do I do." Feeling her leg begin to heal she tried to think about what to do next but Feli kept pulling her along giving her very little time to breathe. "So full of energy suddenly." Before Felli seemed to be a to herself kinda person but now she did a complete turn around from before.

"His energy seems to have went this way so let's follow it for a bit and see if we can find him again."

"Wait, wait. What about you though, didn't you have a reason for coming here?"

"I do, but it can wait. We've got plenty of time to waste and I'm sure no one here will be able to stop me."

"Is that so?"

"Yup, so let's go find your lover, he's important to you after all right?"

"yes....."

Not really feeling like she had a choice in this situation Tearia followed along wondering how Felli could track Xilo's energy but she didn't question it. "A weird girl but she seems nice." Even if she was a little pushy about it Tearia was still happy she was doing this for her otherwise she wasn't too sure herself whether or not she could do it alone. "What happened Xilo?" Thinking back to the way he reacted and how Felli talked about it she was really concerned for him. "Hopefully, it's not as bad as I hope." She may have disliked Xelfia a lot before but now she knew that Xelfia brought Xilo happiness, so she would rather her keep doing that then to cause him pain. "Yet I seem to cause him that a lot." Getting down on herself their quiet footsteps echoed down the hall as they ignored everything around them following a trail Tearia couldn't even see.

"Weird girl." Watching Tearia from the corner of her eye she tried to get a better read on Tearia as they walked but it was harder than she thought. "She seems to passive..." Everything she watched from Tearia and even now seemed so follower like, like she wasn't doing it for herself. "She needs to learn to take control and do the things she wants." However teaching someone how to be like that wasn't easy but maybe she could do it if she tried hard enough.

"So where are your Grandparents now Tearia?"

"They went on a little adventure of sorts I guess. What about yours?"

"Ahhh they died when I was younger, so it's just my mother and father now."

"oh...I see, sorry."

"Don't be, I'm just glad I could meet you here now. So don't feel to bad for me alright?"

Walking along Felli did her best to track Xilo but she noticed something strange about his energy along the way. "Weird....why does it keep cutting on and off." She had never experienced something like before when tracking others and it didn't seem like he was doing it on purpose either.

"Strange..."
