Right after the man arrived in my room, both my mother and I was taken back to the principal's office.
While we were being led to the principal' office, I suddenly felt something off. My instinct kept on telling me I'm about to have a bad day.
*Sigh...*
𝘛𝘰𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘮... 𝘊𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘢 𝘨𝘰𝘥𝘥𝘢𝘮𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵?!
Contrary to what I've expected, after we reached out destination, William, Persia and the person standing in front of the door had been waiting for us.
As if noticing our presence, the man turned around only to have stare at us... No, to my mother with a stiff expression.
"How have you been, Adam~?" My mother's bright smile made the king to pitifully shiver unconsciously, as he backed away when Celestia was only a few meters away from him only to notice me standing behind her.
Adam's expression suddenly brightened after seeing me. Next, within a matter of seconds, he disappeared and reappeared behind me to hide.
"Save me from her..." His voice was wavering as if he was starting to remember one of his past trauma when they were still adventuring that time.
Then, my mother, who was back to her usual antics, turned around and created a pitchfork that was made out of rocks before igniting it aflame.
From Adam and even my point-of-view, she looked like a demoness that was about to take someone's soul away. And honestly, it was terrifying enough to make our spines shiver.
"Adam~ What are you doing behind my son?" She raised and pointed her sharp pitchfork that was on fire towards my side onto his face.
"Do perhaps want to experience what we usually do whenever we both have our free time?"
While hiding behind my shoulders, Adam pointed his fingers towards her. "No way in hell anyone would want to experience such thing, you crazy woman!"
𝘞𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦, 𝘣𝘶𝘥𝘥𝘺... I internally sighed after hearing what he said. Turning my attention back to my mother and looking at the smile that didn't reached her eyes, I knew for the fact that I have to make this choice.
Without even looking at Adam, I moved away from him.
"H-hey... You're not planning to abandon me too, aren't you?" He asked, tightening his grip on my shoulders.
"Sure..." I answered his question without removing my eyes from my mother's direction.
Thus, with her so-called motherly instinct, she walked towards us, held and lifted Adams wrist before twisting it sideways. Gotta say, ouch!
"Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Stop it please!" He begged as the side of his eyes turned watery. Not gonna lie, this made me feel bad about him.
Desperate, he turned his head around to look at me with grim expression. "Help me!" That was the scream I could see in his gaze was giving as he stared at me pitifully.
With a sigh, I turned around saying, "Shut up. Be a real man and deal with it."
"You traitor!"
When he heard this, Adam struggled to free his wrist from my mother.
𝘐 𝘨𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴'𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘶𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯... 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘶𝘮𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘺 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘶𝘮𝘢 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘸 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯.
"Let go of me!" Adam strengthened his whole body with mana as my mother did the same.
"Why are the person holding the Lohengramm name evil?! You three are the same, damnit!"
Well, I couldn't deny that, so I went silent and shifted my gaze towards the two innocent couple, who started flirting not long ago, while his father gets bullied.
"I see..."
Thus, eventually, because his pointless struggle and the insult he said to us, my mother decided to end things more quickly. And what I meant by quickly is by twisting his wrist hard that his bones broke.
"Athan, you are the same as your fathe-!!"
*Crack!*
𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘶𝘭𝘵, 𝘴𝘰 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘮𝘦. I crossed my arm and ignored his loud scream.
"Let just get this over with."

Afterwards, we went inside the room and saw the principal working the pile of paperwork above her desk.
"Ah, you guys are here... What happened to you?" Asking this, Eva raised her pen and pointed it to Adam, or more specifically, to his wrist that was visibly twisted.
Adam was in tears as he secretly glared at my mother's back while bitting his lower lips to prevent himself from talking.
"Don't mind him, he's just being shy right now. Sooner or later, he'll turn back to normal." My mother responded with a smile.
When Eva heard this, her right eye twitched as she stared at her with her 'do you think that I'm an idiot to believe that?' expression.
Fortunately, she held her tongue and didn't ask anything else. Taking her wand from the table, she moved it forward in circle and released her spell.
[Restoration Heal]
The wand she was holding suddenly light up as a small light ball was shot out of it's tip, heading towards Adam and hitting him on his wrist.
"Guahh..." Letting out a groan, Adam held his wrist using his left hand as it slowly healed back to normal.
"Next time, use your words carefully, idiot." Saying this, Eva placed her wand back to the table and flicked her fingers.
*-Flick!*
*Shiiiing... tak-!*
Suddenly, the door behind us opened.
Turning around, we saw two girls, that was currently being apprehended by two male and female professors, bickering to each other.
"Who are you and what are you doing to his room?" Asked Alicia as she struggled to free herself from the two professor holding her side.
Then, the girl who she was bickering to replied, "Huh? It's me who asked that question first. Who are you and what are you trying to do inside the room where my brother was resting?" The girl accidentally kicked the male professor in the face while she continued to struggle free.
"Huh? Did I just heard you say brother? Athan was the only child in the Lohengramm family. There's no way a crazy girl like you who attacked people when they were not doing anything can be called as their daughter, let alone, his sister!"
𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘮𝘺 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺'𝘴 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳...
"Are you calling me a liar?"
"Well... In a way, yes!"
As they continued their pointless bickering, I let out a long sigh tired that shifted their attention towards me.
Sure, I'm happy that my sister was here, but... I think that my problem will increase significantly because she is here.
𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦...
"Brother!"
"Athan!"
Both of their sour mood suddenly disappeared, replacing it into a bright expression.
"Brother, who is this girl?" My sister, Chloe, made the sweetest smile, but I could clearly see that it didn't reach her eyes. It was pretty much similar to how Cossette usually react whenever I call her chest flat.
"Athan, who's this little girl?" Alicia was no exception. Clearly, she was also making the same expression as Chloe, except that her smile was kind of similar to my mom's smile when she was twisting Adam's wrist.
Of course, there's no need for someone to ask if I was scared because indeed... I WAS SCARED AS FUCK even though I'm standing a few meters away from them.
In my eyes, after staring at them for a moment, it kind of looks like they both obtained a trait that they shouldn't have acquired.
"Hey, Athan! Don't ignore me." Puffing her lips, Alicia's surroundings suddenly had a small spark coming out around her. In fact, I could feel a sudden surge of mana coming out from her.
"Brother!" Chloe also raised her voice as they turned their heads to glare at each other.
I was about to open my mouth to say something to them when suddenly, I heard someone flicking their fingers.
*Flick!*
Right where I was about to turn around to see who it was, the world around us suddenly diverted it's color.
𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺... 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘭 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘦? I secretly glanced at the principal with the side of my eyes.
[Mirror World]
With a sigh, she flicked her finger once again as we where suddenly transported on an empty arena inside the academy.
*Flick!*
I looked around to see where we are and then noticed that the two girls suddenly disappeared.
"Wh-where are they-?!" Saying this, I saw that the two of them was in the middle of the arena, confused from what happened just now.
"Where am I...?" Alicia looked around until she noticed me. "Athan!" Her expression brightened as she waved her hands towards my direction.
When she was about to rush towards my direction, the principal who was on my side spoke, saying, "Both of you girls should release your temper to each other before you come up here."
𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵...? I stared at her, seemingly confused from what she said. But, she just shrugged her shoulders as an answer.
When they heard this, the two of them stared at each other in complete silent for a couple of moment before Alicia summoned out her sword.
"Let's deal with each other first," Said Alicia. I think that both of you shouldn't do that...
"Yeah." Chloe responded with a smile. No, you guys really shouldn't do that!
Raising the ice spear she created using her ice magic, Alicia pointed it towards Chloe. "Take your weapon out. Let just solve this case with a duel, fake."
Hearing this, a small vein suddenly popped out on Chloe's forehead as she raised her right arm up without removing her eyes from Alicia's direction.
"No need for that because this is my weapon."
Suddenly, after she said that, the string that had been hiding from her clothes suddenly moved like a snake as if it were alive.
"Hou..." Alicia looked at the moving strings with an amused expression as she prepared her stance.
"Shall we begin then?" Chloe smirked after seeing Alicia's reaction.
"Yeah, right." Alicia responded.
Soon enough, after she said this, Alicia disappeared from where she was standing, leaving a small crater to her footing and reappeared a couple of meters away from Chloe.
Fortunately, Chloe managed to react on time as she used her strings to stop Alicia's spear attack.
*Clang!*
After hitting, Alicia's ice spear suddenly broke into pieces. Because of this, she decided retreat and look at her broken spear in surprise.
"That's hard..." Alicia raised her head and turned her attention back to the moving strings as she pondered about something.
"Your spear is just weak." Chloe taunted. By now, I deeply regretted that I left her for a few years to my mom.
When Alicia heard her provocation, her face suddenly stiffened as the mana around her turned violent. I knew for a fact that she now decided to go all-out by going to her demon form after seeing two horns appearing on her forehead.
While their battle was currently happening, I couldn't help but look at the moving strings on Chloe's clothes with a shocked expression.
𝘚𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘴𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘨𝘪𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘥... 𝘕𝘰. 𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵, 𝘪𝘧 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳. I unconsciously swallowed my saliva as I started to sweat.
"My sister is a Channeler, huh..."
