Massacre 2

As soon as Arthur hopped down from third floor building, he hurriedly ran to where most people usually gather. To a place that was far from Roche, who was in the arena, and near the fountain and the statue of the Moon God.

When he reached his destination,

"«VIRUSES»...? How annoying."

He abruptly stopped running after seeing five people, who had an unusual-looking clothes that look like from a modern place that was more advanced from Athan's previous life.

Their clothes had an red lines. It was tight fitted and they wore black gloves that had red lines and a metal armor that was like the base plate for a robot. It had a red core in the middle; where the starting point of the red lines.

It was at this moment his heart started beating faster. His heart pumped blood faster than it ever did before. Both of his legs filled with strength despite their wobbling.

However.

"Is she here, too...?"

Arthur looks at the five people and sighed heavily in relief after a moment.

"At the very least, his ex-girlfriend is not here... I can fight without holding back." He pulls his sword out and began to unseal a portion of his sealed powers.

"I just hope none of them can control time like the girl..."

When he said this, the five people finally took notice of him.

"A child? This should be easy." A man who was wearing a red cloak, revealed his two rapier that was on his waist before taking it out. He rushes forward towards Arthur and attacked him relentlessly. However, Arthur's expression remained calm and emotionless as he bought his sword up to the side of his face and deflected the attacks to the side, the sword sparkled as they clashed.

After redirecting the attack to his side, Arthur stabbed the man in the heart before hopping a few meters away from him.

"Stop lowering your guard, Mantis! I don't want to waste my precious puppets I bought to suffer because of you." A woman, that had a witch hat and a paper doll on her shoulder, looked pissed as she spoke. Suddenly, the puppet on her shoulder was light on fire as the man began to glow.

"Thanks.." Mantis grinned as he turned his attention back to Arthur.

Before he could even continue to attack, when Arthur saw the wound of his enemy began to heal itself slowly, his annoyance reached it's peak.

Clang-!

When the man appear in front of him, Arthur blocked the attack and slashed his hands off before leaping forward.

Foooooooooooosh-!

Thud!

When his foot landed safely, Arthur gripped his sword with both hands and prepared his stance once again. This time, he spoke with his voice lowered like a soft whisper.

"I have to finish the healer first..."

«Yes, my master!»

When he said those, his sword response was to light up in bluish-like fire.

Arthur's hands grew veins reaching up until his shoulder. His eyes became more fierce and sharper, and his nose started bleeding, as though he was pushing himself to his limit.

The light from his sword slowly disappeared as it's blade became more clearer, reflecting his face.

Taking a deep breath, the moment he released his air out, Arthur exploded at a speed that no ordinary people could see. It was as though a thunder had strike to the ground from the sound of the explosion.

"!!?"

"Healer comes first."

He quickly got behind the enemy, reappearing in front the woman wearing a witch hat who originally came from another world.

Triiiieek-!

"You-!?"

Without wasting anytime to let her react, Arthur slashed his sword towards her neck.

Shiiiiiek-

"No--"

The woman's vision turned twisted as a cresent moon overlaps Arthur's sword attack. The next thing she knew, she was already dead.

"Who's next?"

His voice echoed as he reveals his right eye that had turned blue.

When the remaining four saw this, they immediately felt cold chills in their spine. They knew that the boy before them was nothing like the the people they've fought before... It was like they were seeing a huge monster that was ready to devour them at any moment.

"This boy... He's like us." Said the man with a blindfold, "A reincarnation or perhaps, one of those transmigrated...?"

Sighing deeply, the man spoke with amiable tone.

"How unlucky."

At the same time, William could be seen running along side Lilian and Athena.

"Just where could have they gone to?" William asked himself out loud while leaning his back to the wall and glancing to the corner to see if an enemy was there.

"All clear," he said before resuming what they're doing.

The three have not yet been informed by Alicia's death earlier, nor any of them knows about why the school is under attack.

The only lead they have to find out why the school is under attacked by True Demons were Arthur or the principal. They aren't really sure why they have to find Arthur, however, but because of what Athena had mentioned, they had no choice but to find him.

"Why are they even here..." Athena mumbles to herself. The two beside her heard this and turned their attention to her with a questioning expression.

Lilian furrows her eyebrows, "Do you know something about this?" She questioned, abruptly stopping Athena by grabbing her on the shoulder.

"No." Athena answered truthfully, "Unfortunately, I have no idea either why the academy is under attack. If we want to find out, we should continue to find either Arthur, the principal and.... Athan."

"!!" When Lilian heard Athena mention Athan's name, her breathing turned heavy before slowly letting go.

𝘏𝘦'𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴, 𝘪𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘩𝘦? Lilian thought as she held her sword's hilt tightly to hide the anger that was building up inside her.

After their quick conversation, they went ahead and got outside. They look around and saw many people and True Demon soldiers fighting.

"Haaaaaa!" A professor slashed his great sword towards his enemies while protecting the students behind him.

One of the True Demon soldier just let out a maniac laugh as he dodged the attack easily before countering with a stab using his sharp claw.

Splurt-!

The soldier took the professor's heart out of his chest before crushing it before him.

The professor fell on his knees as the students behind him went on a panic mode with their parents.

Before the soldier could resume his attack, William went forward with his fully enhanced dragon-like body to block him.

Clang-!

"Grr-!" William used both of his hands to block the attack. However, he couldn't handle his opponent's strength as he was starting to get pushed back.

Soon enough, his body flew backwards and hit the people behind him. All of them were thrown away until they eventually hit the wall of one of the building.

Crack-!

The person who was at the utmost behind that caught the students body including William fell unconscious as his head began to bleed.

"Kufufu..." The true demon soldier laughed, "Do you think a mere child could stop me? Fool, you may be strong because of your bloodline but it was clear that we are stronger."

When he said this, the other soldiers behind him began to laugh at William. One of them then pointed his index finger and said, "Finish that child already. We still have some important meeting with the Duke to catch."

"Yes, Commander!" The soldier's expression suddenly turned serious as he cupped his hands while bowing his head at the guy before him.

"Good." The commander looks at the other direction, "Deal with the two brat next after you're done."

The soldier was confused, but nodded his head as the commander flew away by flapping his wings, causing extremely massive storm of wind as he went away.

Flap! Flap!

As soon as he disappeared into the distance, the soldier raised his head and turned his attention back to William. He raised his claw and leaped forward to attack.

However, before his hands could even reach William, the two; Athena and Lilian, that was hiding behind the corner of the wall went out to attack him.

"Urk-!!?" They managed to catch him by surprise as Athena stabbed her small sword into it's heart from behind while Lilian held him off and block his attack that was aimed toward William in front.

Instead of panicking, the other true demon soldiers laughed at the guy after being beaten by two kids easily. Next, as soon as their laugher died, with a serious expression, they prepared their stances to prepare to attack.

"What's next?" Lilian asked Athena in a whisper.

"Obviously... We run."

They grit their teeth to make a run for it, while while leaving William behind after seeing that the soldiers didn't bother attacking them.

"Oh~ a hunting time." One of them threw a javelin in the air.

When the burning javelin was about to reach Athena,

"Who dares to attack my Academy without my permission!!?"

It shattered as a voice that was filled with rage echoed in the sky.

The two stopped running and looked up the sky with anticipating expression on their faces.

"Principal!!"

As soon as they called her out, the bodies of the remaining true demon soldiers shattered like glass as they fall on the ground.

They were still alive and could fully see what was happening, but it would probably be for the better of them to have died, instead of being left in their form.

Flicking her fingers, the principal stared at the two girls with a smile.

"Welcome to my «Mirror World»."
