I went on to the next classroom and took a sit. Almost immediately after that, the professor who was assigned as the teacher entered, silencing the whole classroom.
Right now, my current class subject is Theory Class. There are two main types of Theory Class. One is the Mana Theory, while the other was Magic Theory.
I'm currently assigned in the Mana Theory Class. And similar to what the name, this subject was focused on teaching the main principles of mana.
"Okay, then.... What is Mana? Anyone know the answer?" The professor asked as his eyes began surveying the whole classroom. As if someone finally caught his eyes, he then spoke, "Sir Augustine, do you perhaps know the answer."
The student who was called out beside me stood up. With his fingertips under his chin, the boy then answered, "Mana is an intangible 'energy', which every living creatures has it, and the most crucial elements in this world."
The professor lightly smiled at the boy's answer as he then nodded. "Good. How about how their mana application can be categorized?" He once again asked.
"Mana application can be categorized into two main categories. First is enhancement, while the second is emission." The boy answered confidently. "Mana Enhancement focused more on enhancing the user's body to it's fullest, while the Mana Emission act as to put into circulation or to sent forth."
Hearing this, the professor smiled brighter as he began applauding like the other students.
𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘰𝘺 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘭𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦. I thought. Lightly glancing to his direction with my eyes, I almost choke myself with my saliva after I saw who it was.
He was none other than Xavier Augustine... The person who became my fan yesterday. No, wait! If he's here, then...
I immediately surveyed the whole students, just to find the other two from yesterday appeared before my eyes.
𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮 𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘦... 𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘭, 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘸𝘢𝘺. I shrugged my shoulder, trying to not show any signs of shock within my expression.
After the class finished, I waited for a few minutes before leaving the classroom.
As I was about to reach the doorway to leave, I suddenly felt someone nudging my shoulder... How troublesome.
I turned around and saw the trio beaming brightly while smiling with their thumbs up.
"Did you see what I did there Athan?" Asked Xavier, the one who kept on pulling me from the shoulder earlier.
After a few seconds of massaging my forehead, I sighed and began walking, heading back to my room. The trio decided to come with me even though I said that I didn't want to.
While the four of us were walking through the Academy's Corridor, we accidentally bumped onto William.
"Athan..." Turning his attention towards the three idiots beside me, he slumped his arms and used the wall as a support. "You've finally grown up... And made new friends. I'm so proud of you." He said, clutching his chest tightly.
"Shut it! You're not my parents, fucker!" I said as I gave him a strong kick in the bum. With his hands rubbing his behind, William turned back to where he was facing earlier.
After recovering his sweet and usual demeanor, he waited for me to walk past be before saying, "Persia also wanted to say hi to you. We'll visit your place later she said." I was about to retort when he deliberately ignored me and continued walking.
Seeing that, I let out a long sigh in contempt of what might happen if they visit my place.
The four of us went on and continued walking through the Academy's Corridor. We all noticed something happening on the distance, so we decided to take a look.
The crowds began gathering one by one, focusing their full attention towards the brownish-haired girl and the blonde elven boy coming from the distance.
"Who are they?" I curiously asked. The three of them looked at me in confusion before finally realizing why I asked such question in the first place.
"Oh, right! I totally forgot that the two of you didn't managed to see the 'Welcoming Ceremony' for us freshman." Said Darnom. "That brown-haired girl is assigned as the Students Council President while the elven boy was the Student Vice-President, Master Bossy-kun."
Speechless, I slowly turned my head to look at him. "Master... Bossy-kun? What do you mean by saying -kun?" Once he heard this, Darnom smiled as he took out a book inside his bag, and handed it to me.
Opening it, I quickly realized that it was a japanese novel. Even though the language of it is already translated, I could still find some little traces that the person who wrote this from the past is japanese.
Well, I already visited that place when I was given a time for vacation... So, in other words, I already memorized almost every thing about them.
"When I'm reading this, I rather found the word '-kun' when they're talking to each other, amusing." Stretching his arms, he continued, "I just finished reading that last night. And also, that book is from the Academy's Library if you're asking me where I found it."
"... Anyway, please refrain yourself to stop calling me Master Bossy-kun. It's kind of... Annoying." I said scratching my cheeks lightly.
Darnom saluted at my words before saying, "Yes, Master Bossy-kun."
Hearing this, I sighed in defeat. I didn't ask anymore and focused my attention towards the Council President.
"-Damn, do you think I can talk to her?"
"-No way! That's impossible. She is like a star while we're just ant trying to reach it."
-...
After listening a few whispers coming from almost each students beside us, a certain question popped out inside my mind.
𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘭 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘮𝘦, 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭 𝘐'𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘰 𝘧𝘢𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘨𝘰𝘥𝘴? I thought to myself internally. Sighing, I noticed that the girl kept glancing at my direction as she walked past by. She kept giving me a sharp look in her eyes before returning her full attention back to the hallway in front of her.
Thankfully, no one seemed to have noticed this as they all stared at her fluttering hair and cold expression with great admiration, while the girls kept looking at her enviously.
We then continued walking after the crowds dispersed, turning back to the normal noisy hallway.
"Oh yeah, Athan! Can you take the three of us as your party member in the upcoming test about dungeon exploration?" Xavier asked. With my fingertips under my chin, I thought about what he just said.
"Dungeon... Exploration?" I tilted my head and asked. The three of them nodded in reply while seriously observing what I'm about to reply next.
But...
"Uhh... Sorry, I have much work to do." Saying that, I quickly escaped from his question by hopping down to the open window near us.
Thanks to them, I suddenly remembered something crucial I need to do first before I could finally set my plan in piece.
Right now, that guy probably still doesn't have any members in the dungeon exploration. If I can somehow get him into my team and obtain what I was long looking for, the chances about my plan will increase drastically.
The person who I was talking about was none other than the protagonist. Arthur Ains Delfeld.
But before that...
"I'll have to thank those three for reminding me about this event somehow..." I mumbled to myself inwardly. It didn't take me too much time to reach Arthur's place since his room was near mine.
After reaching the room [390], two rooms away from mine, I steeled myself.
𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘈𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯! 𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧.
Slowly, I placed my hands in the doorknob.
The moment I did that, I suddenly remembered the time when he attacked me in the arena when I just came in to watch.
Thanks to this, I felt that some anger inside me wanted to get out.
𝘍𝘶𝘤𝘬 𝘪𝘵!
With that, I kicked the door open that it flew inside my room... This actions made me regret everyone for sure.
"Holy smokes!!"
