The gathering of generals

I asked one of the tribesmen for Joe's location. They comprehensively described where Joe was in great details with many yeses and place is places included in the description.

After spending a few minutes comprehending the wise words of the tribesmen I realised where Joe was.

I took flight.

And then I saw something incredibly awkward.

Joe was vigirously making out with a girl. She had pink hair and juding my the smudges all over him pink lipstick as well.

"Ahem." I cleared my throat to get their attention.

I swear Joe Jolted a couple feet into the air.

"AHHH! DAD!" He yelled.

I looked at him with confusion. Did he think I was his father? There was no way right. Right?

Joe settled onto the ground and in a flurry adjusted his clothes.

He then turned to look at me. He smiled awkwardly.

"Ummmm. Forget about what I just said okay?" He requested

I looked over to the woman who joe was making out with. She stood there frozen like a deer in headlights.

"Okay. I don't have time for this anyways."

I walked away and waved for Joe to follow me.

Joe gaze the woman an apologetic look and walked away.

"Listen. Joe. I need you to lead the tribesmen to the nation currently at war with Titan rise. Go to the largest coastal city there and I'll pick you up when you get there." I said

He raised a brow at me.

"Your mean Genda?" He asked

I shot my hands into the air.

"YES! GENDA! I need you to lead the tribesmen to Genda!" I yelled

He nodded.

"Okay. When do you want me to leave? And also why did you need to do this now? Can't you wait till later?" He asked

"Better now than later." I responded automatically.

"Leave as soon as the tribesmen finish packing and also…." I paused for a few moments.

"You can bring your girl along if you want."

Joe smiled at that.

"Okay. I'll start getting ready."

As I had nothing left to do now I shot fire from my feet and flew into the air.

It was time to go to my nation… What was it called again? Oh right, Genda. Sounds like a name you'd give to a pokemon.

In life there are three things that human universally avoid. Blood, sweat and tears. No human wants to sweat. No human wants to bleed. And certainly no human wants to cry.

Unless your insane that is.

But what If I told you, that there was a thing that humans universally pursued that was born of blood. Fueled by tears. And oiled with sweat.

It's a things that all humans have. But only the rich ever want to use it.

I bet you can guess what I'm talking about by now. But for those that still don't understand.

I'm talking about war.

How is this relevant?

Simple. Below me in this very moment I saw nothing but war.

Burning recks of villages. Mothrers crying over their lost sons and swearing a vinidctive end upon their enemies. Fathers crying over their lost daughters and swearing similar vindictive end. Daughters, sons, mothers, sisters, cousins, uncles, aunts.

It was a magnificent net of loss which caused everyone to take up a blade. From those blades blood was shed. Sweat was spilled.

My eyes sparkled at the wonder of it.

~I could watch this for ages.~ I thought

But beyond that desire there was something more. As I saw the crumbling cities, the burning villages and the hopeless screams I thought. ~Someone's harming my property.~

I owned this place through right of blood.

I could not let anyone touch it.

I closed my wings and began to descend. As I fell I activated the sigil on my chest. Light emenated from me.

Sundelly the rabid squirting and spurting of blood stopped.

The battling people looked up as a second sun descended from the sky.

"PEOPLE! IT IS I! THE GREAT GREG! I COMMAND THEE! DROP YOUR WEAPONS!"

Their weapons fell to the ground.

They looked up at me in awe.

"GREG'S ALIVE!" They yelled.

"The great king lives!"

It seems that my publicity stunt from last time worked quite well.

*Pap*

With a light sound I landed on the blood soaked ground.

I sent a mental command to the sigil on my chest. The light vanished.

I revealed my form to them. They looked at me with a shimmering sense of awe in their eyes.

As was rightful for one such as I.

"TAKE ME TO YOUR MOST POWERFUL COMMANDER!" I screamed.

The closets person to me took the initiative.

"Right this way sir."

And Just like that I ended a battle simply by existing.

I was brought to a man that at first glace could only be described by one word. Ordnirary

I was confused how a man like him could be given control over such a large military power.

He had ordinary clothes and an ordinary nose. He spoke in ordinary prose and he had an ordinary aura about him.

His build was exceedingly ordinary as well. The only extraordinary part about this man was his eyes.

His eyes possessed a deep steel grey colour and had a intentisty to them so great that when looking into them one would feel like they were immersed in a raging sea.

He stepped forwards with aggression and extended his had to shake.

I reached out a shook it. His shake was firm and steady.

It was what one would expect from a military man.

"So. Your the guy who caused all this instability aren't you!"

OOOH! Like a knife to the chest. Me!?!?!? I caused instability?!?!?!? Never. No way.

"No. The instability was always there. I was just the one who brought it to the surface."

He rolled his eyes at me.

SUCH DISRESPECT!

Right then I considered taking my banging device from my bag and banging this guy into oblivion. (A/n I think I've made more banging jokes than any other author on web novel at this point)

But I managed to restrain myself.

"It's no matter." He said coldly.

"I recognize a rolling boulder when I see one. Your the most imminent path to power right now. So tell me. What do you need to know?"

And just like that it had begun. The war before the war. The pre war.
