My divine body

I walked down to the courtyard of the king's castle.

The courtyard was a large dirt area surrounded by tall stone walls. It had an array of weapons arrows and other tools of war resting against the stone walls.

There were many guards and soldiers going through their morning training. They sparred with each other using swords, spears, axes and even fists. There was a range with which they could practise archery and spear throwing as well. Some of them opted to do neither of those and instead to callisthenics on the ground.

Froze in all of those actions the moment I walked into the courtyard. They instead looked at me with fear and confusion.

A man with plate armour that covered everything but his head walked up to me.

He was the same old captain from the gate.

"You're my new boss right?" He asked

I nodded

"Yes I'm the one who your king swore vassalhood to." I said

He looked at me with confusion

"Then why are you walking? Last I checked you couldn't do that. And why do you have wings? And what's with the crown on your head?" He asked

I smiled at him.

"The answer to all of those questions is the same. IT'S BECAUSE I AM THE DIVINELY ORDAINED KING!" I yelled while slamming my thumb into my chest.

He pressed his lips together.

Then he nodded.

"You do have the aura of someone like that." He said

I simply smiled back at him.

That was true.

NOW! Time to get to what I had been intending to do this whole time. It was time to test my abilities.

I waved the guards away and had them make a large space for me.

Okay, first test. Flight.

I flapped my wings as hard as I could.

I was sent hurting backwards. I flipped over myself and threw up a cloud of dust around me.

I laid on the ground in a heap.

"Okay. So my wings work but I need to get in the right angle to use them." I said to myself.

Next I looked down at the geometric sigils on my feet. I had an impression in my mind that I could do something with them. I assumed that impression was from Giga chadus.

I sent a metal command for the sigls of my feet to activate.

Flames shot from my feet for a couple second and sent me flying thirty feet into the air.

Using my flying skills I adjusted my self in the air and unfurled my wings.

The air pressed up against them and I used my downwards momentum to push myself farther into the air.

~Okay sweet~

I gracefully landed on the ground.

"Now what other abilities do I need to test."

I looked down at the two sigils on my hands.

"These next."

In my mind I sent the command for both the sigils in my right and left hand to activate.

Grain began to appear from nothing from my right hand. It overflowed and spilled from my palm.

The grain would only stop flowing when I commanded it to.

In my left hand there was a small handful of golden spheres.

They were about the size of the bullets I used for my banging device.

So I could make bullets for myself now. Even more OP.

Next I looked down at the sigil on my chest. I mentally sent a command for it to activate.

"AHHHHHH! MY EYES!"

The guards who had been watching me use my powers all this time raised their hands to shield their eyes from me as if I was some hideous monstrosity.

"HEY! HOW DARE YOU CALL ONE SUCH AS I UGLY!" I screamed as I reached for my bag to summon my banging device.

"NO! IT'S NOT YOUR LOOKS! IT'S JUST THAT YOUR LITERALLY GLOWING!" Yelled one of the guards.

"Oh."

I mentally sent a command to the sigil on my chest.

They stopped shielding their eyes. So I had to assume it worked.

Having finished my experimentation I took off into the air.

I had some planning to do.

🐐🐖🐐🐖🐐

I landed on the balcony of the King's room.

He sat there, his nose ib a book. There was no doorway to his room through the balcony side, instead there were just curtains. I pushed the curtains open.

I saw the inside of his room. He had a large pink double bed, a floor made from stones and a night stand with an unlit candle on it.

His room seemed to have a book shelf absolutely full of books on every wall.

"Rob." I said.

His head spun in my direction just as the tribesmen jumped onto the balcony.

I waved the tribesmen away. I couldn't risk them blabbing something.

"What happened to you!" He exclaimed

"I got an upgrade." I said

"BUT HOW!" He yelled

I chuckled

"I have some connections too." I said

He took a deep breath.

"HAAAAA. It's to be expected from a person like you." He said

"So why are you here?" Rob asked

"Because. A war's about to start

so I need to organise my organisations." I said.

I am very punny aren't I? (A/n BLREGHHH! EWWW!)

Rob nodded.

"So you have more places that you have dominion over?" He asked

"Yes, exactly. I have a nation on the mainland and a small island which I'm founding a merchant republic on. That's why I need to speak to you actually. Does this place have agriculture?"

Rob shook his head

"No. The land here isn't arabile. We get our food and essential goods mainly through trade. We have merchants who will go here to sell goods, then our city's merchants will take those goods and resell them at nearby nations?"

I raised a brow

"Nearby nations are you near the shore?" I asked him

He nodded

"We're a week's trip by boat from the shore."

I smiled.

So getting to my nation on land was no problem.

The only issue left would be obtaining access to my fishing village.

I still had no idea where It was.

"Do you have any maps I could study?" I asked him

Again he nodded.

"Yup I have a few."

Rob walked to the book shelf on his right side and pulled a plain leather book from it.

"This is a book of maps made by an ancient explorer. I mostly got it to read the footnotes but the maps are semi accurate. Use this."

I smiled

"Thank you."

I was one step closer to ruling the world.
