Chapter 04

I managed to smoothly fly the chopper to the nearest city. A big thanks to the memories I acquire.

I intend to go New York City by riding a plane from here as the chopper alone won't make it.

Why New York City you ask?

Well It's related to my new host, James Mercer, a former member of the U.S. Army now SHIELD agent.

James Mercer was an outstanding soldier and due to that he was recruited by SHIELD to be an agent.

I also plan to make him my host during my stay in this universe. Well I had no plans to coexist with him peacefully so I plan to put his mind to coma until then.

Anyways, as soon I stepped foot in the city I hurriedly rode cab towards the airport, luckily the city had one.

You might be confused on why the airport and how the hell I have money.

The answer?

It was easy. It was a fortunate thing that the guards in the lab had their own wallets in their pockets and so I stol-borrowed them temporarily..

No...Wait... I already absorbed them and they are a part of me now, so its not borrowed anymore as technically those are mine right?

As I travelled towards the airport. I took the time to sort my mind and organize my newly acquired memories.

It was a great thing I have other essences to complement my abilities to avoid overloading my mind.

It was Year 2012 and according to the memories I found information regarding Iron man, Hulk and Captain America. Heck there even mutants in this universe.

I was esctatic.

I was now 80 percent sure this was the Cinematic Universe rather a mixture of all marvel movies I was just not sure if the TV series are included as I can't seem to find information regarding them.

I made sure to add visiting Xavier school to my to do list to acquire a copy of those mutant abilities as it would be a shame if I don't use my abilities to the fullest.

At the same time I questioned myself.

What do I plan to do in New York? or rather what do I plan to do in this world?

Do I become a hero? A villain? or be a bystander?

My thoughts drifted back to my past life. I was an average man. I had a family, friends and unfortunately no girlfriend.

Anyways I always felt weird and incomplete. I lived my life meaninglessly. Like a robot faithfully fulfilling its duties.However It was not fulfilling at all.

I always wanted something more and now given the chance I questioned myself again.

Why am I even hesitating?

I could now be everything I want!

I shook my head getting rid of those unecessary thoughts as I steeled my resolve.

I now had a goal. I will enjoy this world to the fullest.

No! not just this world I will enjoy my new life to fullest and be whatever I want to be.

I grinned as I looked forward.
