Chapter 6 : Joining the guild 2

" why did you say that we are gonna join the guild " kage asked as they were walking along the crowded street, everyone wanted to get into one of the big teams, even though they would use you as a messenger, you would earn respect from others but in the teams you are no more than their errand boy and kage has never worked for anyone, even his foster dad treated him like a prince, so to say in short, kage is a narcissistic and arrogant person.

" if you I didn't say that things would have ended one way, I would have killed them or you would have because of their pestering " Dane said as he headed straight to the largest, longest most beautiful building in the village .

" good point, now I need to cash these cores, were do we go " kage asked as he opened the bag and smiled.

" to the guild " Dane answered shortly.

' vengeance, if I join the guild and go on crazy missions and destroy things or people I'd get points for that right ' kage asked, he was familiar about adventure guilds, in novel he used to read, the Mc would join the guild and take up quest, when the quest was complete he would be paid for his service and be rewarded with points from the system, but it depends on the system you got .

[ reporting to host..., yes, the quest you chose will be reward by me when it is completed, but just so you know, I only reward exp range from 10-30, if you want to earn real points for your deeds, I will be the one to assign you to a quest ]

' greedy bastard ' kage mumbled as he continued to the base of the guild.

when they got inside the building they were greeted with a different style, the ground was tiled with marbles and the furniture was quite beautiful to look at, the place was glowing with two particular colours, lemon green and white .

at the corner a light green receptionist desk stood tall and vibrant, a young beautiful girl whom was attending to someone stood behind it with a sweet smile.

kage and Dane walked over to the desk but waited patiently for the man to finish his business, after 5 minutes of waiting the man finally left as they walked over .

" good evening miss " kage said politely still wearing the hood, he wasn't mush of an attention seeker but his zodiac sign said otherwise.

" how can I help you young master " the girl said, the girl had long blond hair with a full face and plump lips , her curves way way too off for her age, the girl looked like an 18-20 years old person and yet her features could make any man go mad, except kage whom was about to make her mad, kage thought that Victoria's secret models would bow before this girl, I mean she was perfection

Dane and kage took of their hoods and it was like the whole building paused and looked at them, I mean who wouldn't, a hot sexy guy with long red hair and a few tattoos were on his neck, his ruby like eyes were dangerous yet inviting, his slim handsome face made him even more alluring, and the other was even worse, long snow white hair, dull blue eyes, thin lip and a slim more handsome face, he had a slim build but their was something that screamed danger, he looked like a wealthy prince that would attract attention any were he goes.

" miss how much will this get me " kage asked as he showed her the different colours of cores glowing in his bag. his semi deep angelic voice made the girl go crazy, deep pinkish red colour appeared on her cheeks as she stammered to say.

" um.., this will fetch young ma.... Master a lot of coins " the girl said as she hurriedly took the bag from the desk and to the back.

" she seems nice " that was all kage said as his focus landed on Dane whom had an expressionless face.

" so what are these coins worth " kage asked as he stared at Dane with yet again curiosity.

Dane whom didn't have a single expression on his face nearly shocked in his own saliva, he coughed a bit before he looked at kage with one of those ' are you serious look ' , some of the people in the building subconsciously turned their heads toward the duo to see what was wrong, kage seeing that he had no knowledge of this world immediately felt embarrassed before a light bulb shined above his head giving him the best idea he could use right now [ LIE ]

" you see Dane, I am not from around here, I came from a far away lost kingdom that and I have no means of surviving there, so I decided to be an adventurer on my own, I explored many places on till I stumbled upon this kingdom, so my currency and that of yours here are completely different " kage slid was so smooth you could see any glitch in it, that was because of the constant lie he had to lie back on earth, he became a professional liar, and him reading a lot of fantasy novels made him even more fluent at lying.

Dane looked at him for awhile, he didn't know if he could believe him or not, since he had heard of many falling kingdom back in his own kingdom, and the adventure thing kinda made sense since Dane hadn't seeing any kind of spell that kage used, he must have stumbled upon one of an ancient spell in one of his many adventures .

" 20 copper coins makes up one silver coin, 500 silver coins makes up one gold coin, so that's that's " Dane explained to kage as he curiously listened .

" here you go young master, as I said it would give you a lot of money, 700 silver coins and 40 copper coins " the girl said bashing her latches cutely at him.

" if you want you can count the coins " the girl said as she saw the coins disappeared in front of them .

" no need I trust you won't cheat me, right ? " kage asked as his head was saying another thing, trust, trust is earned and not given so easily, even though he saved Dane and he was grateful doesn't mean he would trust him and that goes the same for the latter .

" would you like anything else " the girl said making her voice seductive which would make any man horny but not them .
