Beauty of the Battlefield

"ah.. you're back?"

Xion eased his fist immediately as Ale grabbed his arm. He let go of the guy he was holding by the collar and turned to look at Ale instead.

The change in is attitude was a complete 180. Even the murderous aura that was dominating the whole battlefield disappeared within seconds.

"What are you doing...?"

Ale asked, still shocked. He had only asked this guy to hold the defense, not defeat an entire army by himself. Ale sighed as he felt a headache brewing while Xion kept staring at him innocently.

"I helped!"

"Yes.. I can see that."

Ale decided not to reprimand him for now since the guy genuinely looked like he had no clue what he did wrong. And if anything, Xion's actions did help him out in the end.

"Did you kill anyone?"

"Nope! Just unconscious."

"Good job."

Ale patted Xion on the shoulder a few times and then approached the man on the ground, the enemy knight that was still conscious.
