Re:born : the sky meet the mist .

(14th July  1994, Japan Namimori town ,Sawada household )

Sayuri is now 4 years old ,  she was sitting on the bed in her room reading a book as always since she doesn't have anything else to do after all she is an adult  stuck in a baby body,  and knowing  sayuri she  didn't really like the idea of acting her age as  she deemed it unnecessary and troublesome feeling embracement.

   Furthermore she isn't really a professional actor and  adding the fact that she lived her past life as a marionette controlled by the stings of vengeance well right she has given another chance so she won't Just let it slip away she decided to live this life as she want no one will control her anymore being a little selfish won't be bad .

Also the expression her parents and the other   made  at her antics were priceless who could blame them you don't see everyday a baby no older than a year walking and talking ( well minus the arcobaleno of course )

she didn't  even touch the pile of toys that her parents bought her on her birthday  , laying there  at the corner of the room .

After a while of reading Sayuri closed the book placing it on the bed then she hoped up the bed and went toward the door heading to the kitchen .

   while walking she passed her parents room and she suddenly heard her father on the phone what really caught her attention was the fact that he was clearly Talking in Italian so she decided to listen to his conversation maybe she will solve the puzzles that surrounded her so called  father correction baka-mitsu  and his mysterious job.

she has a theory of him being a security agent or a or something of that kind well he acts like an idiot but Sayuri can that all was a facade well not exactly she can't tell it was all an act cause she feels it his feelings are scencer toward them , he is dangerous she thought well she was after all a hit woman in her past life she meet all kind of people .

   she was thought to read people through their actions and expression she had many experience in this life so she concluded that Iemitsu isn't really a normal person as they call them civilians( not only him but also tsuyoshi) and the fact that she always smell gun powder everytime she was near him proved that .

 so he is dangerous, not  in a bad way  she added at least for the two of them he was her father after all he cared , his actions toward them proved that .

So now she has to find his line of work and  here is the chance , after the little clues she gathered until know she shrunk the possibilities so either he is someone working for the government as a secret agent or something or maybe a soldier since he is away and their is possibility of him bodyguard judging on the structure of his  body  or the worse him being a hitman or an assassin a law breaker to be exact .

  Her intention hummed at the least ( another ability she possesses maybe it was a side effect of reincarnation she thought  )  now about baka-mitsu's job she will find out soon , she leaned on the wall near the door And she listened carefully to their discussion.

"   Boss but  you have to return back, the venttins are attacking again. Your presence is needed here " a female voice sounded from the other end of the phone .

' Venttins family ? Don't tell me?  Mafia !! No wonder they're talking in Italian  ' the girl thought, narrowing her eyes .' that's the worst possibility ever ' she sighed breaking from her thoughts she leaned back and returned to their Discussion.

" I understand, report to Nono I will return to vongola tomorrow " her father said to the other line then ended the call, sighing heavily .

After that Sayuri decided that she heard enough then she headed to the kitchen 

' great I thought I would live a simple life but that won't be possible since my dear father is part of a mafia I think I have to search more about this before concluding since there aren't enough clue to prove that ,and yes she have to train again if she want to protect her mother now .he said before vongola who names their family clam ?' she sighed.

Greeting her mother  after that Iemitsu entered the kitchen attempting to hug Sayuri but she just dogged and ignored him as she sat on the table leaving a whining Iemitsu saying something in the lines " Sayuri -chan hates me Nana !!" 

She sighed ' is he really a mafioso ?' shaking her head she begins eating her lunch .

( 15th July 1993, Japan ,Namimori town , Sawada household ) .

Just like Sayuri heard , the next morning Iemitsu was packing and he will return to Italy today. It Seems like the mafia he was at are under attack .

Sayuri was there watching him as he packed,  though it's clear that the latter didn't notice her  seeing that he didn't hide the gun that was lying innocently on the bed .

After a few minutes she decided to inform him of her presence ,she would spend more time with him since he is going away today .Note the sarcasm .

( More likely tease him , how she loved  missing with him after he went 

She did the sweetest smile she could master, then she asked " Ne ne baka-mitsu   where are you going ?" The latter jumped in shock to see her there; he didn't notice her presence at all and that's worrying for him  since he is a mafios and he was supposed to detect any presence around him. Maybe she just entered the room or he was absorbed in his though that he didn't notice her he excused himself .

As for Sayuri she fought hard to not burst laughing .His face is priceless .

' how she loved missing with him '

He regained his calm and answered " papa is going to Italy to work .....will Sayuri-chan miss me ?" He said grinning his idiotic grin as for Sayuri looked at him with a blank look then without any histitation  she answered " No" .

And then he went sulking in the corner of the room .

" Oye Baka-mitsu, is that a gun ? " The realization hit him after he heard her then with the speed of lightning he attempted to hide it but failed since Sayuri was fast and near so she now are holding the gun .

" Wow it's really a gun !! " Sayuri said with a childish expression .

"S-sayuri -chan ..put it down quickly !!" Iemitsu said, panicking .

" Huh but I want to play with it  like the spies on tv " as she said that she pointed the gun at him .

" Are you a spy too like those on TV ?? Are you hiding something from me and mum ??" She asked him with the best childish expression she could master .

The other widened his eyes, panicking slightly not knowing what to say .

"S-sayuri-chan.."

" Ne  baka-mitsu, what would happen if I pulled this trigger ??" She said tilting her head looking at him right In the eyes .

The other paled remembering a certain fedora baby .

"Iemitsu , Sayuri-chan breakfast is ready " 

Then her mother's call sounded from the kitchen downstairs.

As Sayuri heard the call she returned the gun to Iemitsu who was sweating buckets of water . Sympathizing him she grabbed his hand .

' I think it's enough for now I nearly broke him , then let's fix that ' 

"Nee papa mama is calling, shall we go downstairs ? "

Suddenly Iemitsu's eyes brightened forgetting what happened he throws  the gun a way and pulled Sayuri in a hug taking the other by surprise then he ran downstairs to the kitchen shouting to Nana.

"Nana Sayuri called me papa !!!" He shouted, grinning like there's no tomorrow .

" Oh that's great dear !!" 

Sayuri sighed looking at the two  '  just because I called him papa oh my family is definitely wired though it's not that  bad ' she thought smiling softly after all 'she finally find somewhere she can call home .

 Later that day the family of the three are in the doorsteps binding Iemitsu a goodbye ....

" I will only be away for two months, " Iemitsu said .

" Take care dear " Nana said to him .

" I will miss you two ,  " he said anime crying.

With that the idiotic man went to Italy and based on that he won't return anytime soon .

( 16th July  1993, Japan , Namimori , Sawada household )

After her father left yesterday she was planning on how to find information about vongola ,she will have to return to her hacking but there's a slight problem she doesn't have a computer the house doesn't have one .

And then she decided that maybe she will ask her mother one even knowing the possibility of her accepting is small . at least she will try with that though in her head she went to the living room where her mom was watching the TV She went forward to her .

she called her  "Mom " 

" What's wrong Sayuri -chan ?" Nana asked .

" I have a request " 

"A request ? Sure  Sayuri-chan say anything mama will do it for you " she sweated drop at that .

" Can you buy me a computer " Sayuri said waiting for the rejection which It didn't come .

" Of course Sayuri-chan mama will buy you a computer let me grab the wallet then we will go to Namimori shopping district " the mom answered with excitement radiating from her eyes then she ran upstairs to grab her wallet leaving a shocked Sayuri there she didn't expect that at all . What a normal mom do if her 4  year old  daughter asked her for a computer what will be the usual reaction no of course yeah her mother is abnormal .

" Did I hear that right?..." She asked herself  she shrugged it off telling herself that she was lucky and all at least she is near solving the puzzles .

A few minutes later , after Sawada Nana finished preparing herself she took the hand of her one year old baby daughter and the two of them went out the house heading to Namimori shopping district .

(16th July  1993, Japan , Namimori town , Namimori shopping district ) .

Nana and Sayuri finally arrived at their destination and Sayuri awed at the crowed and colourful shops .this is the first time she visited a Japanese even in her lastlife she hoped she can visited it with Nian Nian and Ziao thinking of them she recalled their betrayal she shook her head erasing the thoughts 

 Nana lifted her daughter so she wouldn't get lost in the crowd as they made their way to the nearby technology shop.

Nana, caring for her daughter, entered the shop greeted by the shopkeeper  she let  her daughter down  so she could look around and  choose what she wanted. 

While  Syuri was looking around a particular laptop caught her attention an orange laptop with the number 7  on top

satisfied with her choice she went to her mother who was talking with the shop owner , and pointed at the laptop she saw earlier. Her mother smiled at that patting her head; she then turned to the shopkeeper, discussing the price .

After that he handed them the laptop after Nana payed him .

Let's say that Sayuri is overjoyed since she missed her hobby from her past life now she could hack again  making some money to start a business .

Also finding about her father secrets which she highly doubted that have connection with the Italian mafia how ironic .

The two of them  excited the shop each on their own though .

The mother figure snapped looking down at her daughter the suggested to her 

" Nee Sayuri-chan let's go to the park there " 

The other didn't have the chance to protests since the other dragged her

there ,' her questions will wait a bit longer to be answered ' Syuri thought to herself putting cutely .

It seems like Nana was worried about her daughter showing signs of maturity this young age so she decided she will bring her to the park so she can interact with kids her age (caught older caught) .

Arriving to the park Nana indicated to her to go to play with the other kids the playground as for her she went to the other mothers who were sitting on the bench and with that their friendly talk which mostly likely will take a long time  .

Sayuri sighed heavily then looked at the kids who were  playing shouting and crying she shook her head and deemed it a bad idea to join them so she  went to the other direction looking behind her back too see if her mother noticed her she sighed in relief as she noticed that she emerged in the conversation .

Sayuri sweated drop how can she be so carefree she shrugged her shoulders she went to the tree far away from the children cries she settled down opening her backpack she took a book and begin reading it .

 After a while she noticed a shadow figure beside her she lifted her head and looked up she saw a man in his mid twenties probably looking at her he   has dark brown hair and brown eyes with some stubble around his chin. He wears a long white coat . Her intention rang in her head saying that this man is dangerous yet not the same as they did around her father .

The two of them keep staring at each other.after  a few minutes later Syuri decided to break the silence .

" So how can I help you ?" She said smiling sweetly hiding her irritation .

" Oh You can talk so fluently ?" The man said with amusement .

Sayuri lifted an eyebrow at that .

" How old are you brat? You can't be older than 3 years  . You look more like an infant "The man asked .

Sayuri mouth twitched  

" Oh and you look just like a 

pedophile " She restored back the same smile  intact on her face " and give me a reason I won't report you " 

" I'm not a pedophile, " the man said irek mark appearing on his head .

" Oh really who gonna believe you , well let's try it shall we ,  i will scream  then we will see what will happen Kay ?" The one year girl said .

As she was attempting to shoot the man put his hand on her mouth preventing her from screaming .

" Okey Okey don't shoot I'm not a pedophile I was just curious  " the other sighed in frustration rubbing his back of  head and sitting down on the grass .

" Oh is that so ?" The girl asked, smirking.

" You know you are smart for a one year old kid " 

" Oh and you're so Idiot  For an old man "

The other  surpassed his irretation then he looked at the book cover and read " Influencing human behaviour  isn't that advance for you wait  do you even know how to read ? " The twenties old man asked .

" I do " that was the girl short reply she looked eyes with him but before they know something unexpected happend An indigo flames  bursted from the man and orang ones from Sayuri they clicked together forming a bond in the middle Sayuri watched in awe and surprise, as for the man he was beyond shocked he didn't move from the shock .

Sayuri looked around she noted that the others from the park didn't notice the flames only her and the man who was gapping at the bond .

As for her she brought her hand to the bond and began Poking it with her finger .

" This is really weird ? Do you know what happened?? Oy are you alright ?? Is your head broken old man ?" She asked, waving her small hand in his face .

After a while he regained his self '

" H-how did this happen ?" The man asked.

' it's seem  like  he know something  ' Sayuri thought, but then she decided to ask him .

" So care to explain what exactly happened  ?? And what with this flames?  " 

The man looked at her then sighed .

" Well since you are my sky now I don't have a choice but to explain the flames you saw earlier are the dying will flames " he said .

She ignored the part he said sky and decide to ask later .

" Dying will flames ?" She asked .

The man nodded then begin the explanation trying to hid anything from the mafia since he is a hitman and  his new found sky is  civilian not forgetting that she is just one year old at least she is a Prodigy she will understand what he will tell her .

who expected that his trip to Japan will end by him harmonizing with a sky as young as her well it won't be bad he like the sence of harmonizing  finding a home , and her  rare flame are so pure yeah it won't be bad

" Oh so it's like a life energy . and that's explain why the other in the park didn't notice it " the girl said mumbling the last part .

' it's seem like the word she reincarnated into isn't Normal like her previous one ' 

" I'm surprised you can keep this long " the hitman Said 

She looked at him with a blank expression

" You'd realize I'm not an ordinary infant by know wouldn't you ?" 

" Figured it out , as I was saying before there are seven kind of flames orange flames are called sky ,the blue flames called  rain ,the red flames called  storm,and the green flames are called  lightning  , the indigo are mist , the purple are the  cloud , and yellow are the sun , each one of them has its characteristics for example sky flames for  harmonizing the mist flames like mine  for construction ,the rain are for tranquility and the lighting are for solidification , sun for activation , and the storm for degeneration and finally cloud for Propagation " 

" So I have sky flames and you have mist flames ? And it seem like I harmonized with you " 

" Correct, I'm surprised you figured it out ,  I didn't fully explain about the harmonizing factor " 

Sayuri hummed and replied  " Call it intention  thank you for explaining I can tell that   they are confidential information since we are now bonded we have to know about each other no ? So what's your name ?" 

Shamel already decided that the infant Infront of him isn't with all the aspects ordinary so treating her like an adult is the appropriate way like he do with Reborn.

The other coughed introducing himself  him " Trident Shamel  a doctor " 

"I'm Sawada Sayuri " 

" Sawada you are that man's daughter "he shouted surprisingly .

" Oh you know baka-mitsu, " Shamel nearly laughed at the nickname, remembering a certain infant if not for what he sky said next . 

" oh I think luck is with me today , so care to tell me his line of work. If I'm not mistaken I believe he is working in the mafia with 'vongola ' or something ,  since you know him and I believe you are not from here are you ?    " what she said didn't really correspond to the sweet smile she was emitting . 

Shamel paled at what she knows he really misunderstood her she isn't an ordinary child she is intelligent more like a genius she act beyond her age just like an arcobaleno  , well it's seem like he can't hide anything from her now since she is close to knowing the truth with that he explained everything to her about vongola her father post as the second commander in the most influential and powerful  mafia in the world about him being a hitman , surprisingly she took all the information calmly she didn't freak out and Shamel arrived to the conclusion that yes he has a unique sky unknown to him and everyone this sky will bring his life upside down in a good way of course .

" So you are leaving back to Italy?" After the explanation the girl asked him, tilting her head to the side, who would resist this cuteness .

" Yeah I still have to do there , well it will be temporarily I will come back eventually I can't be away from my sky ,  I'm your  mist guardian now and you need protection since your flames are wiled well you can't control who will bound with you " shamel said rubbing the back of his head .

" I understand , when are you leaving ?" 

" One week after I finish the job " 

" Do you have any place until then " the other nodded " I just arrived to Namimori I'm reserved for hotel room " 

" Cancel the reservation " 

"Huh ?"

" You are staying with us don't worry Baka-mitsu isn't here he went to Italy yesterday and mama will be happy to have a guest  beside. I want to know more my mist " the girl said, smiling .

"Fine .." 

" Then let's go to mama .." 

And with that the two headed to Nana after explaining to her about shamel  while making a backstory as expected she agreed enthusiastically Sayuri smiled and thanked her .

With that the three of them headed towards the Sawada household Nana leading the way and the two behind .

 As for Shamel he looked at Sayuri as she grew a head " the heck ?" He whispered.

The other just chuckled at his face and whispered " Mama can be carefree and obviously sometimes " . 

(16th July 1999,  Japan ,Namimori  town , Sawada household )

Shamel and Sayuri are now in the living room sitting around a traditional Japanese wooden table , Shamel eating snacks that Nana just prepared for them as for little Sayuri she was tapping on her newly bought computer a while later Shamel decided to break the silence as he asked her while sipping his coffee .

" What are you exactly doing?" 

" Oh hacking the vongola database their security are lower then I expected  Aren't they supposed to be the powerful mafia out there ?" She said, surprising the mist doctor who threw up the coffee choking on his drink .

" Are you Okay ?" Sayuri said, patting his back offering him a cup of water .

"D-did I hear right ? You actually just hacked vongola ...? " The other nodded at him .

" The heck ...you. .. how did you even learn how to hack ??..." 

" Books, beside  I'm  extremely extreme after all " she grinned offering him a peace sign .

The other just dropped his head on the table sighing heavily  ' where did he get himself into ? His sky keep surprising him what can she also do ? What will Reborn think about this , I think this two  will get along too well this are chaos loving he can't imagine them meeting   ' .

" I will go to sleep I can break anytime soon with the surprises you Making  ... night ." He said getting up and heading to the guest room .

" Good night doc "

Yeah it's not bad to have a sky ,  a home to return to .

(16th July  1999, Japan , Namimori town , Sawada household ) .

Sayuri was sitting on the table in the kitchen watching her mother cooking breakfast .

Then Shamel entered the room greeted by Nana who gestured to him to sit on the table .

" Breakfast will be Ready soon take a sit Shamel-san " 

Shamel greeted back and sat in the table across Sayuri .

" Morning doc " Sayuri greeted him.

" Morning " he greeted back , after that Nana served breakfast to them all of them eat in silence well adding the question that Nana ask about the man profession .

After they finished breakfast and helping Nana washing the dishes  they went to the living room and sat on the couch .

" so did you find something while hacking the vongola database ?" Shamel asked making sure Nana didn't hear them .

" Yup I learned more about vongola origins also  about primo and his guardians  but I really wonder how it still there 400 year had passed and it kept her position until now i ? I also  learned more about the flames and their abilities the dying will bullets ...oh and Iemitsu won't be back anytime soon " she reported to him .

The other nodded at her he isn't surprised anymore well he have to prepare for the surprises that come from so said infant .

" Oh that reminds me, what mission do you have  here in Japan? " He flinched at that then he looked down at her he sighed  .

" assassinate someone " he expected her to freak out .

" Oh " she nodded ." Okay then

let's go " 

" Huh ?.." he blinked at her response 

" you have to finish your work right and also I want to see my mist in action " he sweated Drop at that  .

" You are wired " 

" Oh well thank you for the compliment, so who is your target?  " 

" His name is Rodolfo James ,  I followed him here  from Italy but I lost his track in Namimori well it will take a while  to track him back again ."

" Oh Okey " with that Sayuri went to her room letting shamel on the living room wondering about her reaction she isn't an ordinary child she clearly understood what he announced to her he expected a negative reaction shouting or even she will report him to the police  Well that didn't happen she accepted him she didn't reject him what a wired sky he found a twisted one .

While he was in his though Sayuri come back .

" I tracked him he is at Namimori hotel he made a reservation under the name Kawki Hajime  Let's go end your job this way we can spend time and also you will have time to train me controlling my flames ." she announced .

The mist user just looked at her wiredly he didn't know what to say .

Many questions went up to his head how did she even found him this quick?

After that she turned to her mother and said to her "Kaa-san we are going out , Shamel said he will bring me out to the  park to play " 

" Oh really that will be great , be careful on your way then "

Then she turned to Shamel grinning 

widely . with  this the two exited home heading to where shamel 's target will be .
