'i can't believe distributing those 5 stat points has changed my body so much this is wonderful!' i thought in excitement as i felt my body fill with a new profound power.

I've been traveling while slaying some horned rabbits since they're the only creature im more familiar with for hours now, so i took a break and went down to drink some water.

i leveled up my skills: detection and body enhancement—using the skill points and i also found out that continuous usage of the skills levels it up.

leveling up a skill cost the same as the level. while i wondered what it's max level is, the sun started to set.

'the sun's setting huh...if it's the same as earth, guess i woke up at around 9am?'

the sun was setting but i was still full of energy so i decided to continue my journey. but...

"Grrrrr...."

'huh?! was that a growl?'

after hearing a growl i immediately looked back to find out what it was but what i saw left me baffled.

'huuuhhh?!?! what the fuck's with this wolves?!?' i was so occupied with my thoughts that i didn't sense a group of wolves approaching me.

'this'll be trouble if those things catch me i should get out of here' as i composed myself i immediately used body enhancement to climb a nearby tree in high speed.

'this things are...pitch black?! i didn't see this things awhile ago, are they only active at night?!'

after i got up on a tree, one of the wolf like creature tried to catch up to me. jumping side by side the trees, it reached one of the branches and continued chasing me through the branches.

'fuck!' i cursed then jumped to a different tree.

although i expected to encounter dangerous creatures wanting to have a bite off my meat, i didn't expect it to be so soon.

'i won't be dying here tonight!!' i thought hardening my will to live.

"AAWOOOOO!!" a howl of a wolf reverberated throughout the forest which startled me.

'was that the alpha?!?!' i thought while leaping from tree to tree in haste. the other wolves didn't follow me, but went to different directions.

'they seperated?!' this action of theirs surprised me.

'the alpha might've sent an order to them. but why is this one still chasing me?!'

'but there's only one of them chasing me, i might be able to defeat it somehow.' i thought in hope of defeating it. but it looks like the wolf had a different opinion as he suddenly disappeared in the darkness.

'it disappeared?! where is it?! where did it go?!' i pondered in distressed stopping for a moment to brace myself for possible sneak attacks.

'is that it's skill?! this will be troublesome' i used a skill to find out it's whereabouts but it didn't work.

"GRRRR.....RAAAAH" i suddenly heard a loud growl from behind me which made me turn my head to face the wolf, who was heading towards me with its sharp claw.

'shit!' i barely dodged it, but it scraped my right eye with it's claw.

"EEEEEK" i emitted a shrill, piercing yelp that echoed through the air—a brief and sharp cry that conveyed the sudden anguish i felt.

'that hurts!!'

after being injured i was distressed as to what i should do as my right eye has been compromised. i continued leaping through the branches of the trees and decided to ascend at the top as the branches at the top were thinner.

'i hope this works' after reaching the top i gazed at the wolf below, it also tried ascending but the branch it stepped on snapped which caused the wolf to almost fall. the wolf then glared at me before descending down.

'whew...it worked....haaah...damn i didn't expect being chased down by a wolf, i might be able to somehow defeat it by using the SP i have. but it's skills are unknown to me' i sighed in relief and pondered what my next move was while resting my body and mind from the tension i had.

'im thankful the wolf gave up or else i might've been forced to fight it or maybe even run from it all day.'

i rested at the top of the tree feeling the fresh breeze of the wind for a few hours. but that was enough to recover some of my stamina.

'now that i think about it my stamina was at 20 right? i wonder how that works?'

*Crack!*

'crack?'

a cracking sound interrupted me from taking a break. i then checked if the branch i was on snapping or what. but i had a sudden realization.

'don't tell me!!..' i checked the trunk of the tree and i saw the wolf clawing the trunk thinning it down, making it crack.

'you haven't given up?!?! don't tell me you've been clawing that trunk this whole time?! shit i need to get to another tree!' i thought as i hurriedly descended to find a branch close to another tree. but i was a second late as the tree fell down with me on it.

*Crash!*

the tree was falling down with me on it. it felt like time slowed down as i gazed at the wolf making eye contact. but i jumped off the tree the last second it completely hit the ground.

*thud*

*Thud...Tumble...Roll...Rustle...Thump*

the sound of the tree hitting the ground reverberated throughout the area accompanied with me hitting the ground, tumbling and rolling down the buses and hitting a tree stopping me.

'ugh..i think i hit my head.'

"GRRRRR" growled the wolf as it jumped off the tree.

'fuck, this smartass bitch!' i cursed as i released my bloodlust activating my skill…

'i guess a fight is inevitable huh...' i glared at the wolf who were hesitating to attack me.

'i can't defeat it with my stats as of now.' i decided to allocate my 15 SP evenly to; strength (3),agility (3), constitution (3), physique (3) and stamina (3).

after moments of a staring contest the wolf lunged itself towards me ready to bite, while i braced myself for its oncoming attack.

'i guess i can consider this a combat training with my new body? haha'

our distance closed as at the same time it moved i lunged forward it with my enhanced claw and enhanced body.

*Bark!* i barked in a high-pitched sound at the wolf as we stared directly into each other's eyes.

'i'll survive through this! you persistent wolf!' i thought at the same time i barked.
