Bullet Train 1

When and why is it all right to kill?  When and why is it wrong? These are the questions I sometimes ponder myself with even though I have made a vow to never kill again. Will there be a time when it becomes an absolute must? The desire to have an answer to these questions is natural in people and may even be more important than the true answer. You see, people have the desire to believe that what they know is the truth. To put it another way, the factual truth becomes second to that desire. I try to stay conscious of what's the truth and what's a lie. Doubting myself, keeping an inner devil's advocate as I piece things together. It's what makes a good detective. What happens here takes a turn for the worse. Things I can hardly begin to redescribe. Brace yourselves.

August and Qasey cleaned up the scene and threw away all the trash including Rafeh. They went up toward the roof to meet up with the boss Dearre.

"There you are. You guys were taking forever."

"That's my fault we took too long getting rid of the body." August said as Qasey nodded his head.

"I called you guys up here to ask a favor."

"What is it"

"I want this guy that's been giving us trouble to be dealt with."

"We'll see what we can do."

"See this is why I know I can count on you two. Go get it done"

Meanwhile….

Trevor Wilson, a name I had to remember. For some unknown reason he is able to get guns into the city. Well maybe I know the real reason. He works at the Fifth Third Bank, the same bank the robbery took place in. I plan on meeting him today, but not how I usually meet criminals. I plan to meet him with no hostile intent. Not only that, but I'm just going to see him normally. Not as myself, however. I'm seeing him as Rafeh Anfree judging by how I was told about Trevor Wilson he's never met him. I plan to deceive Trevor Wilson by meeting him as someone he knows but hasn't met yet. I dial Lamar's number to explain my findings. The phone finally picks up.

"Yo," he said. "What's up? Who's this?

"It's me."

"Ah you should have said, so I got creeped Donny."

"Don't say my name on the phone. Didn't I say that? Also, why are you calling me Donny. We're not that close."

"My bad. Well, how about you come meet me at the burger shop near the bank? We can talk there."

"Why can't we just speak on the phone?"

"Because this place has the best burgers in the city you have to try it. I insist."

"Alright I'll be there."

He sent me the address of the burger place and I drove up there. After a good while I made it.

"What took you so long." He said with a puzzled expression.

"Oh. Well, sorry about that. Traffic was pretty bad."

"Hmm I see… Well, you should eat up, the food is already here."

"You say that, but I'm already half done with this coke."

"Someone's stuffing up anyway what's the word."

"Trevor Wilson, age 29 born in New Mexico works at the fifth and third bank right by us."

"So who is he? Our guy?"

"No but he definitely knows."

"How can you be so sure?"

"He can move weapons into the city."

"Just based on that?"

"Mhm."

"Some Hunch huh."

"Mhm." I said while stuffing my mouth in.

"You dressed up well today last time I saw you without the suit you looked like a hobo. Is this some special occasion? Well to what I owe the honor."

"Ouch. You know I may seem lifeless at times, but I have feelings too. But I'm glad you caught on."

"I appreciate your efforts. Now the floor is yours."

"Plan is to deceive him by meeting him as Rafeh Anfree, a man in the business well accustomed to him even though they haven't met."

"Hmph. You're sure they've never met," He said while stuffing his mouth, "Man these burgers are good."

"That's something I can agree to but yes I'm sure they haven't."

"Well let me tell you what I think."

"What's up?"

"Deceiving a guy like him will probably be easy, but the risk involved if you fail is much too high. I think you should prepare yourself first, or just leave it to us. We don't want a repeat of the integration. Right now, a man with Trevor's status could easily get away with a lot of things in this system. You gotta be prepared for this."

"I'm not gonna lie, you're just making me want to do this faster."

"Well, you're the best guy to leave it to. What did they use to say? Rampage the guy who can save everyone and solve everything." He laughed as he spoke sarcastically. "Dude stop staring at me like that, it's creepy you know. Okay, Okay I'll take it back. Damn."

"Well anyway I'm outta here I gotta head out before his shift is finished."

"I guess you were prepared."

"I guess."

I left afterwards. I think I had forgotten to help pay the check. It's fine though Lamar can pay it. I got into my car before I had just realized that  the bank was just right across the street. I got out of my car and started walking towards it. I looked at my phone for a little and learned that there was a train being hijacked at the metro station. I immediately involved myself by heading to my car and getting there as soon as I possibly could. It looked like my plan was going to be on hold for a bit.
