CLING CLING CLING
The sound of the hammer hitting the metal produced a clanging sound that resonated all around the surroundings like a piece of beautiful music.
Every hit was precise and at the point with not a single wasted movement. Every hit pushing the metal or whatever material it was to the perfection with every hit the young man-made.
His long black hair was tied in a bun. He was wearing a black and white robe that covered his body, obviously. His brows were sharp and thin, his face quite ordinary and yet attractive, his eyes abstract and yet sharp - all of this made this man quite… unique and normal.
He was fully focused as he hit the metal with all his strength. It was surprising that the metal was able to withstand it. After all, this person could easily destroy many realms with his strength alone, yet the metal stood proudly in his way of doing it.
Some distance away from him stood an old man as he quietly watched the whole process of the hammer hitting the metal, dare not to miss a single second.
His face, as he watched the young man, was so solemn that it looked like he was putting his all effort to understand every move that the young man made.
If there was an outsider here, he might have thought that the old man has gone senile, after all, there was nothing special in how the young man hit the metal. It was as ordinary as it can be, lifting and hitting, lifting and hitting, lifting and hitting - the same process over and over that one might get bored by just watching.
Yet both, the old man and the young man, had put all their mind and perception in it.
"It is going to be a heaven-defying artifact for sure," the old man sighed. He was a supreme existence whose name was enough to shock the myriad worlds. No one dared to even stand beside the old man as it made their legs jelly.
If he asked, then many worlds would use their everything to complete his wishes. That much of a paramount existence was the old man, yet he was marveled as he watches the young man.
"I was just a frog at the bottom of the well all this time," a small laugh left his mouth.
CLANG
While the old man was lamenting, the young man doesn't seem to hear his surroundings and kept hitting the metal.
After what seemed like an eternity, he stopped. There were no earth-shattering visual phenomenon or anything else. It felt like that he just randomly hit the metal for some time and stopped.
But the old man couldn't help but want to go near the young man and see what he created.
Seemingly feeling the impatience in the old man, the young man looked behind and smiled, "Want to take a look?" he asked.
The old man didn't answer and appeared beside the young man and hurriedly looked at the small sphere in the young man's hand. There was nothing special to it, just some ordinary marble.
Seeing it, the old man frowned and then sighed while shaking his head, "This old one is too weak to see its profanities. What is this, Young Noble?" he asked as politely as he could.
The young man giggled, "Nothing impressive, but definitely a good artifact. I was bored so I created one, but only someone destined can wield it."
"Who is this destined person?" the old man further inquire.
"I don't know," the young man shook his head, "Only time will decide. We are just passengers riding it."
The old man became quiet before he asked, "Are you going to give it to someone for safe keep until the destined one arrives?"
A chuckle left the young man's mouth before he shook his head, "No need," he said before raising his hand in which the sphere of dark metal was present. The impurities, as what others call it, rose from the ground and made a cube around the sphere.
Now, only a cube was left in the young man's hand as he said, "My patron wants some fun so it can't be helped."
The old man's expression changed hearing it. Even if the world has forgotten, he was well aware of the young man's identity. He didn't read any annuals or scripts, no, he just lived that long to know certain matters.
He wondered who was supporting this young man as this young man was enough to destroy everything in creation and yet from his words, it sounded like there was someone even stronger than him.
But even though he was curious, he didn't dare to ask. He knew better than anyone that some matters should be better left untouched lest he wanted his life to end.
The young man didn't care about the old man and slashed his hand in front of him, tearing the space and time apart. A different universe appeared at the other side of the hole, yet again stunning the old man.
He couldn't believe it, but the young man just created a whole universe with just a slash of his hand.
"Go, and find your fated partner," the young man said and threw the cube into the hole before it closed, leaving no trace of it ever existing.
Silence reigned the surroundings. The old man silently stood there, not daring to say a word before the young man.
"Guess I'll go back then," he said before standing up. Before taking another step, he looked back at the old man for a second, "Hmmm. You really are trying to copy my disciple, but your heart is too weak to do so."
The old man shook hearing his words as he fell onto his knees and kowtow to the young man, "Young Noble, please guide me!"
The young man smiled, "Well, I was missing an attendant anyway. I'll let you follow me for some time then."
If there was anyone, who knew the identity of the old man, heard the young man, then they would have been stunted. After all, the old man was no minor character, and here he was asked to become an attendant.
But the old man didn't shy away from accepting the position. He even looked eager to do so. To him, it was one in billions of times opportunity - something that he might not ever encounter in his whole life again.
Soon, both the young man and the old man vanished from the place as the silence returns to it.

Noah silently sat near the window of the room he was staying, contemplating some things. After he came back to the Takagi Estate, he left for his room with Tanya. Of course, he first placed Saeko in a different room so she can rest easily.
As for Tanya, she was currently soundly sleeping in the bed without any care in the world. She looked so relax as if she forgot what happened this morning almost took her life.
'Sigh… it is one hell of a complicated story… I don't remember signing for this shit,' Noah grumbled inside as he rubbed his head, messing his hair.
Why was he so frustrated? Well, he just learned the truth about his universe and the cube. But that was not what made him annoyed. After all, it was just another theory aside from Big Bang. The only difference was that this one made him want to bang his own head while the Big Bang didn't.
He was not annoyed at the fact that his world was created by someone who also created the cube in his chest, but the fact that he was not the only one possessing it.
According to the knowledge he gained from the cube, except the time it was created, included how it had gained its own consciousness which led it to the current predicament.
Even though the cube had the ability to choose its own master, it didn't stop others from salivating for it, the one such person being the current ruler of his universe or omniverse - a full-fledged Creation God.
Someone Noah definitely didn't want to associate with currently, but that didn't mean he was afraid. In fact, he was exhilarated that he could fight such a person.
A Creation God, someone that stood at the peak of the world just below the Ancestral God (If any existed that is). He would love to meet such a person and fight with him.
But the problem came was that he was being hunted currently, and he definitely didn't like the sound of it. He was the War God, even though weak if put in the omniverse, but definitely not an ant.
He had his own pride. To Noah, it didn't mean how strong the opponent was. All that mattered was how strong one's will was. After all, even the strongest is never unbeatable.
Everyone, even the current emperor of the omniverse or the creator of this omniverse, has faced defeat once in their lives. Yet they stood at the peak of the world. Why? The answer was fairly simple - Will!
They had an unbreakable Will. A Will so strong that a defeat never really mattered to them.
Noah was the same. It didn't matter to him how weak he was. As long he was alive to see the next day, he could become the strongest.
'Whatever… meh, really. It doesn't really matter anyways,' a feral grin took his face as he looked towards the sky, 'In fact, I welcome it. The more the merrier after all. Hehehe~.'
"Why are you creepily laughing while staring at the sky? Dont tell me? You finally broke?" a voice of a child entered his ear as he looked back, towards the bed where Tanya slept.
"Oh, you woke up. What a great timing since I've something to tell you," Noah said.
"What?" Tanya asked as she yawned.
"We are being hunted."
"By Being X? I know that."
"No, by the whole universe apparently."
"..." Tanya suddenly become silent as she stared at Noah, trying to find some falsehood in his words. Sadly, she couldn't as she shouted, "What the fuck!? How did I become a wanted galactic refuge?!"
"Hahaha!" Noah laughed, "Well, you know the cubic thingy? It is actually an artifact that existed before anything and is the strongest artifact to exist. The whole universe is after it."
Tanya vanished from her place before appearing in front of Noah and tore his shirt away, revealing his childish body with no fat.
Ignoring it, she looked at the stare tattoo before taking a knife out of nowhere and tried to stab it there.
"Woah!" Noah hurriedly took some distance away from her, "What are you doing pipsqueak!?"
"Dont worry, it will only hurt at the start. Before you realize it, you will feel nothing," she answered as she professionally spun the knife and walked in his direction with a bloodthirsty smile.
"Of course, I will feel nothing! I would be dead to do so!"
"So what? It is better than leaving the life of a fugitive. I didn't sign for this shit, you know. First, that bitchy Being X that called himself God and spotted some high-class nonsense before throwing me into that war-filled world. And now you with that cube of yours. Why are all of you so abundant in taking my lazy life away?" she asked with a crazy look in her eyes before launching in Noah's direction, "So be a good boy and let me take that cube shit out of you!"
"Oh Hell Na!" Noah shouted before taking his own sword out and parrying her knife. Soon, a full fight broke out between the two, awakening the residence of the Tagaki state and alerting those who were already awake.
"What is happening here!?" Souichiro shouted while looking at the destroyed part of his mansion, thinking if someone detonated a boom or something.
Souichirou was a tall and intimidating man with jet black hair and fierce orange eyes that has a gaze of a predatory animal. He was the father of Saya and the husband of Yuriko. He was also the Don of Tokonosu prefecture's ultra-nationalist organization and a strong leader.
"That…!" One of the guards pointed at the sky. There, two small dots were fighting with each other. There every attack was deadly, filled with bloodlust. One would never believe that they were children who were together for more than a decade. They looked more like the mortal enemy of each other.
"W-what are they?" Souichiro stuttered.
This time, Takashi's group also appeared. Saeko was not present, probably still has not woke up from her sleep.
"What happened to them?!" Kohta asked, stunned.
"Did Noah annoyed her again?" Saya said.
Hearing her, the Takashi group thought that it was possible. After all, they knew how Noah loved to tease Tanya. And how Tanya would always try to kill him afterward.
"Saya! What are those things!?" Souichiro asked. He couldn't believe that such monsters existed in this world, even after the world was plunged with an unknown 'virus'.
Saya and others frowned, hearing how Souichiro called them, "Those 'things' are who took care of me when my parents forgot that they had a daughter to take care of."
"You!" Souichiro looked at her with anger but didn't voice it out when he was stopped by Yuriko, "Stop it, dear," she said.
"Humph!" Saya completely ignored the anger look in her father's eyes and looked back at the fight between Noah and Tanya before saying, "You guys should stand back. With your weak physique, a random spiritual pulse is enough to kill you."
"Spiritual Pulse? What is that?" Souichiro asked again.
Saya started to get annoyed but just humphed away, not in the mood to talk with her father. This made Souichiro grit his teeth but he didn't ask again. But, at the same time, he didn't move from his place and watched the fight between Noah and Tanya.
He narrowed his eyes, 'If used correctly, then they can become mankind's hope. And they are still child, it would be easy to control them,' he was a politician in the end, but only if he realized how stupid and laughable his thought was to ever think of Noah and Taya as a child.
Back at Noah, he was currently dodging the bullets fired at him at a tremendous speed.
'She really lost it this time…' looking at angry Tanya, he thought.
Cling* another bullet was cut into two as he looked at the laughing Tanya, "You bastard! I'll definitely kill you today. Be a good boy and give me that cube Noah! I ain't having my peaceful life destroyed!" she shouted while firing bullets at him.
Noah wondered if all the piled-up stress finally made her lose her mind.
"It seems like you need some more sleep and rest to cool off, Tanya-chan," he said and appeared in front of her.
Tanya didn't step back instead loaded a ton shit of Mana into her gun before pointing it at his chest and firing without any hesitation in her movement.
A red beam of light left it and appeared in front of Noah within less than a second. Noah also didn't shy away and coated his sword with Mana before slashing at the incoming beam.
His sword easily cut the beam into two separate beams as they passed him and traveled back to Takagi Estate, creating a large explosion.
Since she released such a big energy beam, a delay appeared between her movement and Noah appeared in front of her. Even though he had vast experience, he and Tanya had the same power and energy levels. Just like Tanya, he was also quite tired currently. Since he also used most of his energy into cutting that beam.
Appearing in front of her, he punched hard into her stomach as saliva left her mouth and her body arched back.
"Bastard…" Tanya gritted her teeth, trying to fight the immense pain raising within her. With shaky hands, she gripped his collar and shouted, "Make me stronger!"
"Huh?" a stupid voice left his mouth as he looked back at Tanya's expression, which was a mix of both pain and frustration.
"I want to stand on the same platform as you. I don't have the fucking knowledge and definitely not in the mood to do the fucking extensive research on it either. So, if you are going to fight with our pursuers, then I also want to stand by your side!"
She looked into his eyes, "Don't get me wrong. I ain't begging you but ordering you. After all, you are part of the reason why I am like this. If we are going to be hunted, then let's show those bastards who to mess with and who to not. Let's kill every single one of them to show the so-called Omniverse that we are not to be messed with!"
At the end of her sentence, Tanya felt her vision blackening before she lost her consciousness making Noah catch her as to not let her fall.
He looked at her before opening his mind, "Did she started this whole fight she can confess to me? Is she that socially awkward?"
Though he said that, a smile never left his face as he looked back at the sky, "Really… Even though I promised myself to not have such feelings again. A man really thinks with his lower half I guess."
He looked back at the Takagi Estate and realized that most of it were destroyed, 'Well, can't be helped. Humans never really care if there is an ant below and they might step on it.'
'I'll just have Takashi's Group teach them about Spiritual Energy. Whether they can survive the training or not solely depends on them, and if they want a more safe method, they will have to create themselves.'
He never really thought of stopping Saya and others from teaching others about Spiritual Energy. As he said before, the world will create Heros sooner or later.
Once such humans appeared, it would be not that far where humans will start to learn about magic too. Noah was also not sure what approach the world will take, will it be the Spiritual Energy route like his world or the Mana route like Tanya's world.
He shook his head, 'Ahh~! I am tired and sleepy.'
Thinking, he descended to Tagaki Estate, in front of everyone, and said, "Well, shit went out of hand and stuff happened. As compensation, Saya can teach you guys about Spiritual Energy."
Before Souichiro could say anything, Noah looked at Saya and said, "Stop this dude or I'll kill him. He is reeking the smell that I hate the most - the smell of someone who thinks he can control others to do his bindings. And believe when I say it, even if he is your father, I'll not waste a single movement beheading him."
Without hearing anyone's reply, Noah vanished and left to find any vacant room but he couldn't find a single one. It seems that the part he destroyed had all the empty rooms.
'Now this is annoying…' he thought before reaching Saeko's room, 'Guess I'll use this one then,' saying, he entered the room and saw Saeko sleeping on the bed.
It was a miracle as to how she has not awakened with all that sound they produced. Placing Tanya at the other side of the bed, he laid in the center and close his eyes.
He was quite tired as he has been fighting consistently since morning. And with that, he fell asleep without wasting much time.

I know, I know, a miracle, right? I was not really planning to write but then I was quite bored and couldn't sleep either for some reason, so I started to write. Once I started, I just kept on writing and ended up with a whole chapter of almost 4k words.
I started this FF because I was quite bored some lots of months ago…
When I started it, I did say to not accept the constant updates and I always keep my words… lol.
Anyway, I'll try to at least post a single chapter of this fic every week. After all, I am writing two other fics and have IRL life to take care of too.
I also can't find a fricking part-time job due to the pandemic getting worse here, or at least, that is what the government is saying. I am quite past the point to believe what the government is saying so I am not sure.
And with all shit going on here, I highly doubt it is true but a ploy from the government to silence the raging civilians after they killed 80 some people in the name of 'stopping the terorism'...
I am spouting some unnecessary nonsense so I'll take a swift exit.
