Conclusion

Now, as if rehearsed, which it probably was, Albus spoke as chief warlock "But you are in no condition to care for a child as you are right now Sirius. I would gladly put you in his care once you are better and if the boy is willing of course."

Sirius smiled at that. "Let me propose a solution. I have one branch of family left in my heart and they're in the visitor's booth. If they agree to become temporary caretakers of both me and the boy until I am declared Suited, would that be alright?"

Now a woman gasped a few seats over from Quinn. Looking at her he could see certain family traits and there was no doubt in his mind that this woman was Andromeda Tonks. He had noticed how she had cried with joy as Sirius was declared innocent and that gasp made it perfectly clear who she was.

She stood up. Albus responded. "Very well. Andromeda Tonks, formerly Andromeda Black, would you undertake this role until Sirius Black is deemed a suitable caregiver?"

She nodded with a wide smile and yelled out her answer. "Gladly!"

Albus nodded and turned his gaze a couple of seats over. "And Harry Potter. Your muggle guardians have already signed papers to give you over to Sirius Black but as an important figure you have a saying in this too. Do you want Sirius Black as your guardian?"

Harry stood up and yelled out a strong, resounding "Yes!".

Albus looked towards the Minister Cornelius Fudge to declare his verdict. "It is granted. You must be deemed suitable by a mind healer from St Mungos though, not by Andromeda even though she is a healer herself."

Sirius smiled and nodded. "Agreed. Thank you Minister!" And so the case was over and everyone left the courtroom to discuss what had happened and the importance of it.

On their way out of the visitor's area, they were stopped by Andromeda Tonks. She looked gorgeous! Wonderfully curvy body, which was a bit hard to spot while sitting down, and a gentle face with a neat brown head of hair. A fine woman if he had ever seen one. Quinn instantly thought it was a shame the Blacks had almost died out because he couldn't date one his own age, well except maybe one. He then suddenly started wondering how much his hormones were truly affecting his mind.

"Mr. Potter...or may I call you Harry?" He nodded with glee. "Excellent. So Harry and…" she looked at Quirrell who tried to find his way back to speech. Currently his mind was wandering so far away from current happenings he had trouble hearing. A few seconds later his mother gave him a small shove in the back and he noticed she was looking at him questioningly. He responded. "Ah, Mr. Quirrell. That's me. Quinn Quirrell. This is my mother Queenie" Andromeda seemed to have noticed that it was her appearance that made him forget where he was as she gave him a knowing smirk. It was as if she was saying 'Still got it!'.

"Andromeda Tonks. But you can call me Andy, Harry. Did you know about this?" Harry was quick to shake his head but Quinn, much to Harry's surprise, nodded. "Yeah. I might have spoken to Albus about it."

She quietly mumbled "First name basis with the headmaster eh?"

"Well then shall we walk over to Sirius together?" And they did. Harry was quick to hug Sirius. Quinn didn't think he was much of a hugger before, but a week with Queenie will do that to you.

Satisfied that he was in good hands, Quinn left the newly formed family alone and went to leave but before he could, a hand was placed on his shoulder. When he turned around, Sirius Black was standing there with a wide smile on his face. "I just want to thank you Quinn, without you I wouldn't be out here. Without you I wouldn't have talked to Harry. Without you Harry would still be with..Petunia" he spat out the name. Clearly he knew what Quinn knew, and probably more, about Harry's stay there.

Quinn shook his head and waved it off. "Although I'm glad for your sake, I truly did it for Harry. My family owes him a lot..and besides, he's a good boy who deserved better than he was given." On that point they could easily agree. "Pay me back by treating him like family, he could use some of that. I do think my mother will miss him though" he added with a chuckle as he saw Queenie hug the boy tight into her body while mumbling something only those two could hear. At least Harry looked happy because of whatever she said.

Sirius joined into the chuckle. "I'm grateful to her as well." He put out his hand for a handshake and Quinn took it. "Don't be a stranger Quinn. Our location will be hidden from most, but not from you." Quinn smiled with gratitude. "I won't Sirius. And that's good because I might want to check in on him to make sure you're treating him well by the end of the summer!" Sirius chuckled at that. "Of course. You're welcome."

With that, they parted ways and Quinn went to the office for magical education on the tenth floor. Today he would take 6 of his owls. Defence against the dark arts, Transfigurations, Charms, Astronomy, Herbology and History of magic. He would usually have three hours each on them but once he sat down in the private exam room, he was presented with all of the exams at once and was told to complete all theory parts within 8 hours. They didn't want to supervise a kid for longer than that after all.

Six hours later he had completed all theory parts and went on to the practical parts of the wand subjects and Herbology. They seemed in a rush to be done with him so he was told to just perform something that would show his level of skill for each subject.

Quinn got up from his chair and pointed his wand at it. In an instant it took the shape of an intricate wooden thunderbird. With another wave of his wand he animated and duplicated it. With a third he angered the birds to attack him. With a fourth and final wave, the birds disintegrated to specks of dust so small that they spread around in the air of the room, instead of simply falling to the floor.

Then he tended to a particularly poorly treated mimbulus mimbletonia to prove his proficiency at herbology. It was a good thing he had Loopsy bring down some plants the day before so he could practise, as this wasn't something he had done in a long time. But he tenderly cared for the plants and nursed it back to its former health.

A while later he was told to sit outside while they graded the last of his papers. He had to know the results right away as he planned on doing the Charms, Transfigurations and the DADA NEWTs tomorrow along with the rest of his owls.

Half an hour later they got back to him with 5 Os and an EE. The EE was in astronomy as he had never truly gotten into the subject. The examiner who gave him his grades spoke. "You may return tomorrow for the next exams."
