Day 1

I woke up and found myself in a forested area.

Looking around I could tell that this forest isn't your typical forest back in my world.

And just as I thought, it really wasn't.

To my right something came out of the bush it was an ugly green skin childlike humanoid creature that made its appearance.

The creature immediately notices me who's on the ground still trying to adjust to my new body.

Our eyes meet, we stared at each other for a few seconds as if time had stopped for the both of us not daring to move an inch or make a sound.

The creature snap and wide gruesome smirk appeared in its ugly face.

It dashes straight at me and on its hand is a rusty broken dagger.

I can feel it's killing intent intensifying as it is near me.

However, I didn't panic one bit, in my eyes, the creature no… the monster, it might be ferocious and vicious but it's still nothing but a child.

Not in a literal sense.

"Such careless frontal assault, what a dumb decision."

The creature pounced launching itself straight aiming for my neck.

However, before it could even touch a hair on my body, it was shot like a cannon ball.

I kick the fella in the gut sending it flying then rolling over the ground before slamming hard on a tree.

The tree shook due to the impact, and it dropped three fresh fruits in the process.

My eyes shifted to the fruits.

"Oh, how lucky of me."

I stood up.

I noticed the creature's weapon was beside me so I picked it up.

Examining the said weapon.

"It really is a rusty and broken dagger."

I throw it to the side.

The defective weapon will do more harm than good.

The creature tried to get back up to its feet, I just looked at it in the eyes awaiting its recovery.

I could see the indignation and fear of its ferocious crimson eyes.

However, I could only see something else.

Now that I remember it, this creature might be what they called a goblin.

One of the most disliked fantasy monsters due to their sly nature and uncontrollable libido.

They move in groups attacking small villages and towns plundering and raping women.

But among those fantasy worlds, there's also a certain fantasy story where a slime ruled a nation, the goblins there are likable.

Unfortunately, the goblin before me doesn't seem to be part of that category, it's more like that story about a goblin obsessed fella who hides his handsome look with a helmet.

"What an obnoxious race."

The goblin stands up, it looks at me as if I have killed its family.

It dragged its lump body trying to close our distance.

"For an obnoxious creature you sure are brave, but you can't fool me."

I picked up a stone.

Concentrating all of my strength in my arms I throw the stone that I just pick up straight to the goblin.

The thrown stone broke through the sound barrier instantly piercing the goblin's head killing it in the process.

As the monster's body dropped to the ground a black bottle also dropped, it shattered and let out a disgusting and dangerous smell.

I covered my mouth and nose distancing myself from the hateful and dangerous stench.

"Goblins sure are crafty monsters."

Earlier…

The goblin did not expect to be kicked by the human.

Measuring the force of the kick alone it knew it couldn't fight the human in a head-on battle.

It quickly comes up with a countermeasure.

It purposely drops its rusty broken dagger aiming to make the human drop its guard even for a little.

On its pocket is a bottle of a strong poison.

It shielded the bottle when it was thrown after the kick.

Its plan should have succeeded the moment the human engages it in a head-on battle after its subsequent defeat in the first confrontation.

But never did the goblin expect that the human would go for a ranged attack instead.
