You've got to be kidding me

2 hours later...

Turning over I see that it's 2 in the morning, letting out a sign I go back to laying on my stomach.

The conversation with my grandpa and Alexander lays heavy on my mind, what did they talk about?

He said that he liked him, but what did Alexander say to make him like him. I mean my grandfather did find him in a closet that's not always the best impression to make on your girlfriends grandfather.

I'm not going to be able to go to sleep without knowing what they talked about. Throwing the covers off my body I head into the hallway. Before I go down the stairs, I look into my grandpa's room to make sure he's asleep, he's all cuddled up under the covers sleeping soundly. That's perfect.

Tip-toeing down the stairs they creek under my feet. Note to self-make sure to fix the stairs. Looking over the couch, Alexander is sound to sleep, his hair is all over the pillow as his feet hang out of the covers. He looks so adorable when he's sleep.

Leaning down to him I shake his shoulder to wake him up, but nothing happens. I know what will wake him up, I run my fingers through his soft curls. His eyes start to blink open.

"Quinneth, what's going on? It's two in the morning." His voice is all groggily.

"Nothing's going on I just need to ask you something."

"Can't this wait until the morning?" He starts to rub his eyes as he pulls the covers onto him.

I quickly pull the covers off of him, "No, this is urgent."

" Since this is so important ask the question." He gives me his undivided attention.

"What did you and my grandpa talk about?" He lets out a groan.

"This was the urgent question you woke me up for?"

"Yeah, tell me." I start to shake him.

"Ugh fine since you won't leave me alone. I told him how long we've been dating and that I would never hurt you or cause you any harm."

"That's it?"

"That's its Quinn, the conversation wasn't that interesting."

"Did you tell him...you know what you are."

"God no, were in the clear."

"Good, I don't want him to know. He's innocent in all of this."

"Now I can go to bed." I pull him by his head and give him a sweet kiss, since he's still waking up, he slowly gets into the rhythm.

"God, you taste so good." He says seductively.

"I know." We resume kissing. While kissing him I hear my grandfather come stomping down the stairs

"QUINNETH GET UPSTAIRS NOW!"

"Crap." Alexander says against my lips. "We've been caught."

"See you later." I give Alexander one more kiss and head upstairs. Before walking completely up them, I give him a smile and he returns it with a wink.

My grandpa catches wind of this, "Hey stop the winking and teeth showing, go to your room." I let out a groan and head to my bed, god he can be a Debbie downer.

The Next morning...

Folding up the covers and sheet, I sit it in on the couch neatly. It's around 6 in the morning, I highly doubt that Quinneth is up. Honestly, I would have slept in here, but I need to get home so I can change and get to work.

As I head for the door, I hear footsteps coming down the stairs.

"Good morning Alexander." Milo says to me while wrapping his robe around his body.

"Good morning to you too Count." I give him a nod. "Oh, sorry I didn't mean to call you that, what I meant is Milo."

He shrugs off my comment, "It's alright you can call me Count. When Quinneth sleeps she's dead to the world, trust me. There could be a fire and she's would never know."

"Sounds like Quinn."

"Does your father know about Quinn and you?"

"He knows, he kind of approves of it, but has a steady hate for it."

"Because she's human."

"I would object against this thing with you and my granddaughter, but that would only drive her towards you more. You can stay if you want, we can drink coffee." I would say no, but I can be a little late to work I mean my father is the CEO.

"Sure."

"Follow me." We both head towards the kitchen for a hot, steaming cup of joe.

"Won't your father be mad that you're coming into work late?" Count asked as he drinks his coffee.

"Most likely, but what can you do right?" We clank our cups together, the hot coffee trickles down my throat.

"I'm going into work at the pack house today, can you drive Quinn to school? I had to take a cab yesterday and it was annoying."

"Sure, when does school start?"

"8:00. She should be getting up any moment." After he says that Quinneth comes trudging down the stairs, her shorts are turned backwards, hair is matted against her face.

"Did you make me some coffee?" She asked her grandfather while wiping the dried slob from her face.

"It's in the kitchen."

"Ok, hey Alexander." She starts to walk away and stops dead in her tracks, slowly she turns to us. "Alexander what are you doing here?"

"Just drinking coffee with your Grandpa." Her eyes dart to her grandfather.

"You could have warned me that he was down here, that's why I taught you to text." She turns to look in the mirror, horror creeps up on her face. "God, I look like the Lochness monster." She runs back upstairs, her feet stomp against the stairs.

"You look beautiful. I scream to her as she walks up the stairs.

"Don't lie to me." I hear her door slam shut.

Me and Count look towards each other. "Girls." We both say in unison.

Walking down the stairs, I look around for my keys but can't find them.

"Grandpa where are your keys!" I scream out. Once I hear nothing, I walk into the kitchen area to see Alexander still here.

"Alexander, what are you doing here?"

"Your grandpa wanted me to take you to school."

"He took my car, didn't he?" He gives me a nod and I roll my eyes.

"Yep, you ready." He asked.

"Yeah." We start walking towards the door.

"You know, I like the other outfit you had on." I smack his chest.

"The bleached shorts and holey shirt, yeah would have been a hit at school today." None of my pajamas look presentable, I don't know why though. "I miss driving my car, listening to my own radio."

He pulls me close to him. "I love driving to school, let's me spend more time with you." He plants a kiss on my temple.

"I love spending time with me to." I open up the door and we head to his car.

"Look who's gotten cocky."

"Your cockiness is rubbing off on me." Opening the door, I get in the car.
