Ye Jin watched the last girl fall to the ground, her body riddled with needles. She stood over them, her rabbit mask still in place.
The room was filled with the sound of their ragged breathing, their once confident faces now twisted in fear.
Ye Jin looked at them with disdain, and without another word, she turned and walked out of the room, leaving the girls writhing in pain behind her.

The next day, Ye Jin and Gu Yan arrived at school together. The suffocating tension that had previously been between them had lightened, and they occasionally threw little jokes at each other.
As the driver pulled into the school parking lot, Gu Yan stepped out first, holding the door open for Ye Jin.
"Such a gentleman, eh?" she jokingly commented.
"Well, only for you," Gu Yan answered.
Ye Jin coughed, feeling a bit uncomfortable as her heartbeat quickened.
