"Are we there yet?" Naomi asked.
Pedro sighed. "We're almost there, just stay patient." He seemed to be getting a little annoyed, since Naomi had asked him if they were 'there yet' multiple times during the trips. "I'll tell you when we get there, so you can stop asking."
"Hey! No need to be rude!" Bubble shouted.
"Can you all try to be quiet?" Scarlet hissed, gagging a little. Miracle held onto her, rubbing her back in a comforting way. "Ugh, I'm going to throw up the moment I get off."
Miracle sighed. "Please try your best not to. We've got some work to do." Scarlet nodded, but she made no promises. Miracle turned to Naomi and Bubble. "Well, since we've got a bit of time, could you tell me about yourselves?"
"Hm?" Naomi looked up at her, seemingly a bit tired. "Oh, uh, sure. Hah… what a pain." Bubble puffed out her cheek, crossing her arms. She seemed upset, but Miracle wasn't sure why. Naomi sighed. "Bubble, we're going to be with these people for a while. It'd be better for me to tell them about my past."
"But, Naomi! That would make it less special!" She complained. "I wouldn't be the only one who knows!" Naomi sighed, shaking her head.
"Bubble, you're the only one who's a part of my past. Does that make you feel better?" She asked. Bubble thought for a moment, before she grinned and nodded.
"Yup! I forgot about that! You can go tell them, Naomi!" Bubble then turned towards the other two, a small smile on her face. Miracle sighed, smiling herself. She just has the largest mood swings….
Naomi nodded, turning towards Miracle and Scarlet as well. "Well, as you know, I'm a Mage. But… people never saw me like that." She went silent for a moment, thinking it over. "People called me a witch. No, not just a witch. An evil witch. Magic wasn't common in my town, so they thought it was a curse from the Devil." She twiddled with her fingers, seemingly nervous. "And, they went after me. They chased me around with torches, and other such things." She shivered slightly.
"Naomi, you don't have to continue if you don't want to!" Miracle shouted. "It's okay, I can understand."
Naomi shook her head. "No, I'll just continue. There isn't much point in me stopping now." Naomi glanced at Bubble, Bubble giving Naomi a reassuring nod. Naomi gave her a soft smile, turning back to the other two girls. "At some point, they did catch me. They… they put me on the stake." Miracle's eyes widened, as did Scarlet. They had not expected such a backstory to someone like Naomi. Naomi sighed. "Yeah, I kinda expected that… but the thing is, is that I had just recently learned a familiar summoning spell."
Bubble suddenly cut in. "And then I appeared! I saw how horrible those people were being to poor Naomi, and I had to save her!" She lifted her hand, a few water bubbles condensing. "I can make moisture from the air condense like this! Naomi called me Bubble because of this. It isn't all too much, but it's enough to put out a fire! And distract people!" Bubble playfully chucked the water droplets into Miracle's face, making her laugh. "See! Worked like a charm!"
"H-Hey!" Miracle grinned. "I wasn't expecting it!"
Naomi smiled. "After Bubble saved me, we ran away from my city. I ended up running into someone named Harper."
"Harper?" Miracle repeated.
"Ah, well, you'd probably know her better as Hydema." Naomi admitted, scratching her forehead nervously."
"Hydema?!" Miracle shouted.
Naomi nodded. "Yeah, I was surprised too. She saw that us two were missing a home, and decided to help. She helped us create that hut in the forest. I did end up returning the favor, though." She pointed to the sword on Miracle's back. "I enchanted that sword. Vicky was the one who made it."
Miracle looked at her surprised. "Wow, that's amazing! I never would have guessed!" She grinned, laughing a little. "You really are the Great Mage!"
Naomi blushed slightly, smiling at her hands. "T-Thanks…."
"If," Scarlet tried to talk a bit, but gagged a little. "If you don't mind me asking, what did you put on that sword? How come Victoria had to make it?"
Naomi went silent, thinking for a moment. "Well, we need to create a sword that would be able to handle a lot of different enchantments. Vicky was the only person Harper could ask. She then turned to me asking to make a sword that could kill a god. I obliged, since I had to return the favor. Really, there are probably thousands of different enchantments on that thing, most of their power depending on whoever uses it." She sighed, dropping her hand. "In order for me to make it strong enough to kill a god, I had to have it so that only one person in the entire world could use it. But, I was able to change around some spells to allow that person to let other people use it if needed. But, I already explained why that isn't the best idea…."
Miracle nodded, slowly unsheathing the sword. "Is there anything else I should know?"
Naomi thought, before she nodded. "It can only kill a god. Any other organism, like demons, angels, giants, fairies, humans, animals, or anything like those can't be killed by it. They sure can be harmed, but no killing blows can be landed." Naomi paused. "Here, try stabbing me in the chest."
Miracle flinched. "I, um, are you sure…?" Naomi nodded, no fear in her eyes in the slightest. Miracle hesitantly raised the sword, and stabbed it into Naomi's chest. Well, that's what it looked like. In reality, the tip of the had split apart, creating something of a white mist. Miracle blinked in surprising, drawing the sword back and watching as it returned to its original shape.
Naomi smiled. "See? I'm perfectly fine. Just keep that fact in mind. No one else knows about this, but a lot of people know about the sword." Miracle nodded, sheathing the sword again. "Try not to let anyone know, if you can."
Miracle nodded. "Right! I'll try to keep that in mind!" Naomi smiled back, laughing a little.
"Well, I told you about myself, why don't you tell me about yourself a little bit?" She asked.
Miracle hesitated a moment, thinking about her past. She frowned a little, thinking about her terrible mistake. That had led to her friend getting killed. She shook her head, snapping those thoughts out of her head. No, don't think like that… just calm down…. She placed a smile on her face. "A-Ah, yeah! Sure! Um, let me think about where to start…."
She thought for a moment, before she nodded, deciding on a good place to start. "Well, me and my parents were adventurers. Well, me not so really. I just came along with them. We ended up taking refuge in a rather large town, since my parents wanted to take a break. They also wanted me to try and make some new friends that I could spend more time with."
"How old were you when this happened?" Naomi asked, seeming curious.
"Um, I'd say around fourteen?" Miracle answered. "I'm about twenty-one now, if you wanted to know." Naomi nodded, going silent again, waiting for Miracle to continue. Miracle cleared her throat. "Um, now where was I? Oh, right. Friends. So, I was out exploring the town, where I found someone in an alley. Before you ask, they weren't stuck there or anything. They were just kinda standing there."
Miracle hesitated, thinking over her encounter with them again. "I was wondering what they were doing here, and they replied that they were simply reminiscing. About what, I didn't know. His name was Matias. We became rather close friends pretty quickly. But, it always seemed like he was waiting for something. Or, someone I should say. I asked him about it one day, and he said that he had a friend that had gone missing a couple years ago. Matias said it was his fault they were gone, but I had a hard time believing that." Miracle winced, struggling a little with continuing. She let out a shaky sigh, Scarlet scooting closer to her and rubbing small circles into her back.
"It's okay, Miracle." Scarlet said. She still seemed to be a bit light headed, but she was able to power through it for now. "Calm down."
Miracle smiled softly, nodding at Scarlet. "Mhm." She inhaled deeply, calming herself down and turning back to Naomi and Bubble. "About three years ago, that place was attacked. And, Matias… his friend had apparently done it."
Naomi blinked, surprised. "You mean, God was his friend?"
"He seemed confused about it as well." Miracle admitted. "But, he was so insistent on seeing him, that I let him go." She sighed. "And I regret it. A lot."
Naomi looked at her, pity in her eyes. She frowned, looking away. "I'm sorry…."
Bubble was sobbing, collapsing onto Naomi with tears flowing down her face. "That's so sad...! Why did you have to tell me that, Miracle…!" She cried. Miracle would say that her dramatic outburst had made her feel a little better.
"S-Sorry!" She stuttered out.
Scarlet grinned slightly, before she gagged again. "Ugh, Pedro! You go first! I can't talk, or I'll vomit on you."
Pedro sighed. "Please don't do that again… I'll go before you. And I'm sure Miracle can explain your story for you." Pedro thought for a moment, but it was clear he was focused on flying. "Hm, it's nothing too complicated. You see, I'm a weird breed of dragon. Something like a halfblood. So are all of my sisters. We're pretty rare, since it's not common for a literal dragon and a regular person to get together or something." Pedro paused. "Actually, now that I think about it, I don't remember who my dad was. I wonder what happened to him…." Pedro shook his head. "Ah, well, whatever. Anyways, of course, people were interested in half bloods, either wanting to sell them for profit or capture them for studying. All of my sisters got kidnapped, and I've been able to save some of them. I'm wanting to at least figure out where most of them are, so I can try to save them. That's about it for me."
Bubble hesitated, before she turned away, crossing her arms. "O-Okay! I'll admit, you're not as terrible a person as I thought you were! B-But still! I don't trust you!" Pedro laughed.
"Sure, sure." He said, which caused Bubble to glare at him.
"I'll explain for you, Scarlet." Miracle told her. Scarlet nodded, clutching her stomach. Miracle turned back to Naomi and Bubble. "Scarlet lived in a small town in the woods, and a disease swept through the place. She had a really good friend of hers. She never realized it until he was gone, but she was pretty sure she had developed a crush on him. It's pretty likely the disease killed him. I came around that town somewhere around two years ago, and she came with me. That's about it."
"Wow, us two really didn't have nearly as heart wrenching or complicated backstories as those three." Pedro sighed. "We really need one of those more depressing backstories to make people cry." Scarlet snorted, trying not to laugh. Pedro smiled, before he dipped down. "Alrighty, we're finally back." Pedro landed, Scarlet immediately leaping off and supporting herself on a nearby tree. Miracle slid off, going over to make sure she was okay. Bubble leapt off, helping Naomi get down. Pedro shifted back into his own human form, stretching out his back, letting out a satisfied sigh when he was done. "Mm, that feels good." He flicked back his long, pale green hair over his shoulder, sighing lightly. "I should really cut this off."
Miracle gasped. "Or… you could let me put it up!"
Pedro gave her a blank look, clearly showing that he did not want her to do that. He then turned back to the large house in front of them. "Right then. You all ready?" He walked up to the door, holding his hand out to knock. Scarlet walked over, having gotten over her air sickness, Miracle following close behind. Naomi and Bubble stayed a small distance away from the group, nodding at Pedro. Pedro smiled, knocking on the door.
The door swung open almost immediately, showing a clearly happy Victoria. "There you are, slow motherfucker!" She glanced over at Naomi and Bubble, and waved at them. "Nice to see you two! Glad you could make it!"
Naomi waved back at her, a small smile adorned on her face. "Nice to see you too, Vicky…." Bubble grinned, waving energetically at her.
Victoria turned back to the other three. "Well? I'm assuming you're making a group to take down that gremlin in Heaven, aren't you?" Miracle nodded.
"Naomi said you would have other people to help?" She asked. Victoria hesitated a moment, nodding slowly.
"Y-Yeah, I do." She sighed, letting her hand drop from the door frame. "Okay, I need you all to listen. The two who can help us the most, they're pretty unique. I also will have something to tell you all, I just need you to trust me." Victoria dropped to the ground, placing her finger down on the floor. She looked up at them. "Do you trust me?"
Naomi nodded, coming to crouch down next to her. "I do… Bubble does as well…." Bubble nodded in agreement, coming to crouch down next to Naomi as well. Pedro hesitated, when Miracle came to sit down next to the three on the ground as well.
"I'll trust you! You made this sword, so you're wanting to accomplish the same thing as us!" Miracle said brightly. Victoria stared at her, raising an eyebrow. She turned to Pedro.
"Is she always like this?" She said, at a rather loud whisper.
"Yeah," Pedro matched her tone. "Pretty stupid, if you ask me." He grinned mischievously, staring down at Miracle.
"Hey!" She complained. Pedro and Victoria laughed, as Pedro came to sit down next to her.
"I trust that decision, though. It would make sense." Pedro smiled at her, which made Miracle smile back.
Scarlet sighed, coming to sit down in the group circle as well. "Fine, whatever…." Victoria gave them a confident smile.
"Right then! All you have to do is follow me!" Victoria started drawing on the ground, a small red trail being left behind. She drew the shape of a pentagram, drawing a circle around it to finish it off. She quickly tapped it, as a small portal opened up in the ground. The group stared at it in astonishment, when Victoria smirked at them. "See ya on the other side, losers!" As she said that, she leapt through, leaving the other five behind. They glanced at one another, when Naomi suddenly leapt through.
"N-Naomi!" Bubble shouted. She quickly followed after. Miracle, not wanting to be left behind by her new friends, dropped in as well. She landed in a rather unfamiliar place, one that she had never seen before. It was pretty dark, almost as if it was suddenly nighttime or she was located underground. There were small specks of orange and yellow lights floating around, giving the place a very warm feeling. She looked around, spotting Naomi and Bubble. However, Victoria looked a bit different, for whatever reason. Her pupils had slitted, as well as having small black horns on her head.
"Alright, you're probably wondering. 'Vicky, what the hell are those things?' Well, funny you would mention Hell, because we're in it." Victoria smiled awkwardly, waving her hands. "S-Surprise… I'm… a demon…."
Miracle blinked, rather surprised by that fact. However, she didn't feel very afraid. "Oh! I had no clue." Victoria hesitated, raising an eyebrow.
"Uh… Miracle? You, really aren't phased by that fact?" She asked.
Miracle shook her head. "No, I don't really care all too much! As long as you help, it doesn't quite matter what you are!"
Victoria stared her down, a rather serious expression on her face. "With that attitude, you're going to get other people killed." She hissed. Miracle went silent, Victoria's tone sending a shiver down her spine. "I don't understand you in the slightest…." Victoria shook her head, putting a smile back on her face. "Anyways! I'm going to go introduce you all to two of my friends!"
"Wait!" Miracle called out. "We're still missing Pedro and Scarlet."
Victoria rolled her eyes. "Slowpokes! If they aren't here in the next couple minutes, I'll leave them behind!" She declared. Pedro dropped down, sighing a little.
"I'd really prefer if you didn't…." He said.
"Me too." Scarlet agreed with him, dropping down next to him. The two stood up, Scarlet crossing her arms. "Well? Who are you introducing us to?"
Victoria grinned, turning around. "C'mon! Follow me!" She turned around, and started walking off. The group of five followed after her, as Victoria started talking. "Now, before we really meet them, I need to tell you all that they're demons as well." Victoria laughed softly. "If you couldn't tell by what I am, and who I was talking about earlier…." Miracle nodded, but no one said anything. Victoria huffed, going silent as well. They went the rest of the walk in silence.
This surely is surprising…. Miracle admitted. I wouldn't think that demons would try to help. Well, maybe it makes sense, since Hell is the direct opposite of Heaven. Miracle laughed slightly, feeling a little amused. Funny, how the terrible god is the one in Heaven, not the one in Hell. Victoria suddenly sped up, having spotted someone with rather dark hair. "Oh! Hey, Mewme-"
"You call me Mewmew one more time, I'm making Harper fucking crucify you." The person Victoria had called out to spat. Victoria sighed, shrugging.
"Hey, your name is far too long! I had to shorten it somehow!" Victoria complained. "Anyways, I've got our godslaying gang here! Can you go get Harper?"
"Right sure. By the way, before anything gets too confusing, my name is Bartholomew." He said, smiling. "Don't call me Mewmew, please."
"Oh, okay." Miracle paused for a moment. "Can I call you something else to shorten your name?"
Bartholomew thought for a moment. "You could just shorten it down to Bartho, or something. I wouldn't mind that one."
"'Kay 'kay, Mewmew!" Victoria grinned, patting Bartholomew on the back. He let out an irritated sigh, slouching over slightly. Victoria laughed, clearly amused. "Anyways, you know where Harper is? I wanted to introduce both of you to them at the same time."
Bartholomew sighed. "I'll go get her…." He turned around and left, Victoria grinning happily.
"Well, that's Mewmew!" Victoria chuckled.
"I thought he told you not to call him that." Scarlet pointed out.
Victoria waved her hand dismissively. "Psh, whatever! He can't kill me!"
"He very much definitely can." Naomi pointed out. Victoria grinned, shaking her head.
"Nah, he's my bro! He wouldn't kill me." Victoria paused. "Well, at least I don't think he would. If he tried to, I'm sure Harper would help me out though." She then promptly sat on the ground, patting on the stone to signal she wanted the others to sit down as well. "Since Mewmew'll probably take a while to go get her, let's play a game or something."
Miracle sat down. "Actually, we could just tell each other about ourselves. I'm curious as to why you're here, or about your past."
"Y'know… me too…." Naomi muttered.
"Hey! Since when was this about me?" Victoria complained. "I mean, I know I'm great, but I don't want to tell my life story to a bunch of fangirls." Pedro coughed. "Please, your long hair basically makes you a female."
"Thanks." Pedro said, deadpanned.
Victoria tapped her lip, thinking for a moment, before she smiled and nodded. "Right! So basically, I'm pretty sure I fucking died." There was immediate silence. Victoria raised an eyebrow. "What? What did you expect? Pretty bad sinner, too. Did some… questionable stuff to living people." Victoria lightly tapped her cheek, looking away from them. "Just… I don't do that anymore. I promise. Reformed! Nothing terrible, I assure you."
Scarlet crossed her arms. "How could we confirm that?"
"Well, if I did do things like that again, I'd die on the spot." Victoria explained. "Since I died, being quite the terrible sinner, Harper decided to give me another chance. To reform myself, and use my abilities as an inventor to do things better. I didn't feel like dying, so I took her offer." She grinned brightly, placing her hands on her knees. "And well, I'm here, having made the sword that'll be solving all these problems!"
"Hey, don't forget I help too…." Naomi reminded her.
Victoria laughed, taking off Naomi's hat and ruffling her head. "C'mon, you gotta admit that I did more! Trying to make a sword that could handle thousands of enchantments isn't exactly a walk in the park!"
"But those spells aren't easy either!" Naomi complained. "They took a lot of work… there's a reason why it took so long to make it…."
Victoria groaned, shrugging as she stood up. "Fine! Whatever!" She turned to the others. "But just so you all know, I did more!" She then turned her back to them, placing her hand above her eyes. "Oh! I think I see Mewmew and Harper! C'mon, let's go!"
The group stood up, following after her. Miracle lagged behind, thinking to herself. Are demons just regular people who died? Or are there different types? She sighed, rubbing her forehead. I wonder if Bartholomew will tell me about his past… or maybe Harper…. "Ah, hello there." Harper started. "Nice to meet you all." She turned to Miracle, extending her hand. "I assume you're the Godslayer?"
Miracle nodded, smiling. "Yup! My name's Miracle, nice to meet you Harper!"
Harper smiled, shaking Miracle's hand. She turned to the rest of them, as they all introduced themselves. She sighed, seeming a little tired. "Well, could you tell me what's been happening?"
"Hm?" Miracle tilted her head to the side. "What do you mean?"
Harper looked away. "Well, I haven't been up on the surface for a while. I've been having to check in on everyone down here. But, I can take a break for now. I've got someone covering for me." She turned back to look Miracle in the eyes. "I don't quite know what's been going on up there. Would you care to explain it?"
Miracle nodded. "Right. So, about three years ago, God started attacking different places without reason. He just started showing up, wreaking wherever he wanted."
Harper hesitated a moment, before she nodded. "Right… okay." She shook her head, pointing across the horizon. "Should we go back up to the surface? I feel as if people would be more comfortable there."
Bubble nodded vigorously. "Yes please! No offence, but I don't like this place!"
Harper nodded. "I can agree with that." She turned to Victoria. "Vicky, you're the one most experienced with it. Can you do it?"
Victoria nodded. "Yeah sure, Harper!" She drew a large circle above the group, it's diameter expanding after she finished. She sent a slash through it, as they all suddenly appeared back in front of Victoria's house. She smiled. "Alright then! What's our game plan?"
Harper hummed in thought, thinking for a moment. "Let's see… I know someone who can help us rather well. Do you all know who Asa is?"
"Asa?" Pedro asked. "Yes, I think so. She's a forest fairy, right?"
Harper nodded. "Mhm. She's a lot more powerful than she puts herself out to be."
Victoria laughed. "You sure have a lot of friends, Harper!" Harper smiled softly, nodding her head.
Bartholomew looked a little nervous. "Ah, I remember Asa. I'm not sure she likes me though…." Victoria patted Bartholomew on the back, making him stumble forwards a little.
"It'll be fine Mewmew! Just stay calm and be yourself!" She assured him.
Bartholomew glared, shaking a bit in anger. "Vicky, I'm two seconds away from strangling you."
Victoria patted him on the head, giggling. "Okay, Mister Edgelord!" Bartholomew tackled her to the ground, the two brawling in the grass. Miracle looked at them concerned, before she turned to Harper.
"Are they going to be okay?" She asked.
Harper laughed softly, nodding her head. "Yeah, they'll be fine. This happens all the time, when Mewmew is done with Vicky's shit."
"Not you too, Harper!" Bartholomew complained, as he shoved into Victoria.
"Haha, I knew she would start loosening up when she came up here!" Victoria cackled.
Harper sighed, a smile on her face as she picked the two up from their shirt's. "Calm down, you two. Bartho, I understand you don't like that nickname, but leave the murder for later. Vicky, stop being an asshole."
Victoria nodded, giving her a thumbs up. "Yeah sure, Harper! No promises, though!"
Bartholomew sighed, crossing his arms. "I'll try my best…."
Harper smiled, letting both of them down. "So, anyways. We should get going before these two try to kill each other." She sighed, looking at them disappointed. "Seriously, they act like a brother and sister."
"And you're like a mom!" Miracle pointed out.
Harper blushed slightly, turning to look at her. "Really…? That's what you see me as…?"
Miracle nodded. "You may seem to be scary, since you're Hydema and all, but you're really nice! I'm not sure how powerful you are, but I'm sure you're going to make this adventure much better!"
Harper went silent, seeming to be in deep thought. "A mother… funny… one of my other friends thought that as well." She shook her head, placing a smile on her face. "Well, anyways. Back to leaving…."
Miracle nodded. "Ah! Right! Let's go see Asa!" Miracle turned away from Victoria's house, looking over the horizon. "Which direction should we be heading?"
Harper came up next to her, thinking. She pointed the left, towards a thicker area of the forest. "Over there. There's a place called The Glade. Asa should be hanging around there. It's pretty secluded, so I'll lead."
Pedro walked over, crossing his arms. "Are we walking there?"
"If it was my choice, yes." Scarlet replied. "I don't want to throw everything up today."
Pedro smiled, chuckling. "Okay, okay. I get it, I'm not a very stable flyer!"
Victoria crossed her arms, a wide grin on her face. "Yeah, no shit! It's like you're drunk every time you start flying!"
"Oh, shut up. You always seem to drool all over the smallest magical invention, I don't want comments on slightly off flying." Pedro countered. Victoria's express shifted to an upset one, as she huffed angrily.
Bartholomew chuckled. "Karma, bitch."
"Shut it, Mewmew!" She returned. The two started bickering with one another, throwing a couple insults at one another. Pedro joined in, egging the two on.
Naomi laughed softly, turning to Harper. "Vicky really is competitive… I don't think she'll give up the insult challenge."
Harper smiled. "You'd be surprised how determined Bartho gets when he's like that. Kinda set out on vengeance, he has a ton of stamina."
"Never would have expected that outta a shy guy!" Bubble commented. "He seemed like the type to fold over at the smallest comment, since he was so angered at being called Mewmew."
"I heard that!" Bartholomew pointed a finger at Bubble. "Just because you're a familiar doesn't mean I can't beat the shit out of you!"
"Damn, alright!" Bubble stepped forwards, rolling up her sleeves. "I'll fight you! Come at me!"
Bartholomew grinned, stepping towards her. "My pleasure."
Harper stepped in between them. "Stop! We have better things to do than beat each other up." Naomi gently pulled Bubble away, Victoria pulling Bartholomew back.
Bubble huffed, crossing her arms. "Fine, fine. But we settle this later, Bartholomew!"
Bartholomew sighed. "Okay, I guess. Not sure if I'll be up for it later, though."
Bubble turned back to him, pointing at him again. "That doesn't matter! We can just spare, or something. Training!"
Bartholomew thought for a moment, before nodding his head. "That'd be a good idea. Sure, I'll join you for that."
Miracle laughed to herself. "That was a quick change…."
Harper nodded, seeming to be amused. "Yeah, that's just how he is." She turned towards the forest. "Anyways, let's get going. The Glade is very far from here, and we'll be taking a stop in a town on the way."
Miracle nodded. "Right! That's great!" She turned back to the others. "C'mon, gang! Let's go!" They nodded to her, as Harper smiled. They both turned around, as they started walking through the forest, destination in mind.
~~~~~~~~
"What next…." Fabian muttered to himself. "Where… when… how…." He huffed, falling backwards into the clouds. "This is impossible! I don't know where to go!"
Matias sighed. "Just calm down, Fabian. You'll figure it out…."
Fabian crossed his arms, pouting a little. "But Matias, I can't do things by myself! Thinking is too hard…." He complained. Matias sighed again, brushing his hands through Fabian's hair. He shivered a little, but didn't move. Fabian sighed happily. "I remember this…."
Matias smiled softly. "I thought I would help you calm down?"
Fabian grinned, sitting up finally. "Yeah, it did! Thanks for that!" He stood up, pulling Matias off of the ground. "Anyways, I've got an idea now, so I'm gonna be gone for a bit!" Matias nodded.
"Alright then. Anything in particular you're wanting me to do?"
Fabian thought for a moment. "Just try to make sure Lucas doesn't come stab me or anything. That's pretty much it."
Matias laughed softly. "Haha, okay. I'll keep an eye on him."
"Thanks, Maimai!" Fabian smiled. He turned away, looking at the edge of the clouds. "Well, I'll see ya soon! You better miss me, or I'll be upset!" Matias nodded, waving him goodbye. Fabian returned the wave as he was walking away, falling backwards off the clouds. Fabian crossed his arms as he was falling, waiting for the familiar feeling of returning back to the mortal plane. There was a sudden chill, telling him he was finally in the troposphere.
He grinned, flipping over and spread his wings out. He started gliding across the sky, catching a small gust of wind which propelled him forwards. He looked around, trying to figure out where exactly he was. He could only show up in places that had clouds. On the unluckier days, he couldn't really leave Heaven, but that's where he's really unlucky.
He flew around, trying to spot anything in particular. He sighed, seeming to find himself in the middle of nowhere. Seems I'm going to be flying around for a while. He shrugged. Oh well! I have good stamina, I'll be fine.
As Fabian was flying south, Miracle's group of adventurers were traveling north. Fabian was looking for a place to fake his 'evil' attack, Miracle heading towards The Glade to find someone named Asa.
It wouldn't be too long, until they all met once again.
Sorry for being kinda late on this, I got caught up in some stuff.
Anyways, thanks for reading, and I hope you have a good day! :D
