Runaway Fam

"It's been a week since I've been training them and I'm surprised to say…WHY THE HELL DON'T THEY GET ANY STRONGER!" I yelled in frustration as I watched them exercise.

"Jeez man, we can't possibly be a crew if people are just gonna continue looking down on them since they're not strong." I muttered as Sarah walked up to me.

"S-Senpai, we're tired." She said in an exhausted voice and pointed to everyone, they were exhausted and breathing heavily.

"Fine, all of you hit the showers." I yelled onto the megaphone causing them to go back into the house." They settled on the couch, incredibly tired.

"Why is he pushing us this hard?! I miss watching anime and drawing cartoons." Sino explained and held his sore arms.

"Come on guys, he's just trying to help us be stronger ya know? Give him a chance." Daejin replied, trying to get everyone back into good spirits.

"What does he want from us anyways, it's like he's using us for something." Aera responded, trying to stand up.

"Guy, I have the perfect plan. We'll do something that'll get his attention and make him see us as strong crewmembers." Daejin said excitedly as the others leaned in to hear his plan.

"Let's take over Hostel." He said as the other 3 looked confused. "Hear me out, first we'll join a runaway fam and then after beating up the head father, we'll steal his phone and text the big daddy of the hostel, it's foolproof." Daejin finished as Aera replied.

"That's not such a bad plan, no matter how strong the head dad of the runaway fam is, they can't be stronger than us who trained for a week!" She said with a newfound determination causing Sarah and Sino to nod their heads in agreement.

"LET'S GO ISSUE!" Daejin yelled, causing everybody to run to the car and drive to Gangdong.

Meanwhile

I sat outside while thinking about what I'm going to do. "Jeez, I can't really blame them can I? They've seemed to have grown on me and there has to be some other way to get them stronger." I pondered and stood up.

"This time I'll just teach them a martial art." I walked into Aera's house and to my surprise nobody was there. "What the? Where'd those nerds go?"

Gangdong

The four of them stood in front of the door of a runaway fam and were anxious and nervous. "This is it guys, behind these doors are our tickets to acknowledgement." Daejin said as he knocked on the door and it opened. They were surprised and scared when they were greeted by gangsters on the floor drinking beer and playing cards, and girls in revealing outfits counting money.

"It's been a week since I've been training them and I'm surprised to say…WHY THE HELL DON'T THEY GET ANY STRONGER!" I bellowed in frustration, my voice echoing through the training area as I watched them struggle through their exercises.

"Jeez man, we can't possibly form a crew if people are just gonna keep looking down on them because they're not strong," I muttered under my breath as Sarah approached me, her eyes filled with exhaustion.

"S-Senpai, we're tired," she managed to say in a voice drained of energy, pointing to the rest of the group. They were gasping for breath, their bodies worn out from the intense training.

"Fine, all of you, hit the showers!" I shouted through the megaphone, causing them to retreat back into the house. They collapsed onto the couch, utterly spent.

"Why is he pushing us so hard?! I miss watching anime and drawing cartoons," Sino groaned, his arms aching from the strain.

"Come on guys, he's just trying to help us become stronger, you know? Give him a chance," Daejin interjected, attempting to lift everyone's spirits.

"What does he really want from us anyway? It's like he's using us for something," Aera questioned, struggling to stand up.

"Guys, I have a brilliant plan. We'll do something that will grab his attention and make him see us as strong crew members," Daejin exclaimed eagerly, drawing the others in closer to hear his idea.

"Let's take over Hostel," he proposed, leaving the others puzzled. "Hear me out. First, we'll join a runaway family, and after defeating their leader, we'll steal his phone and send a message to the big boss of the Hostel. It's foolproof," Daejin finished, awaiting their response.

"That's not such a bad plan. No matter how powerful the leader of the runaway family is, they can't possibly be stronger than us, who have trained for a whole week!" Aera declared with newfound determination, causing Sarah and Sino to nod in agreement.

"LET'S DO THIS!" Daejin shouted, igniting a surge of energy within everyone as they rushed to the car and sped off to Gangdong.

Meanwhile...

I sat outside, contemplating my next move. "Jeez, can I really blame them? Somehow, they've grown on me, and there must be another way to make them stronger," I pondered, rising to my feet.

"This time, I'll teach them a martial art." I entered Aera's house, but to my surprise, it was empty. "What the? Where did those nerds go?"

Gangdong...

The four of them stood nervously in front of the door to the runaway family's hideout. "This is it, guys. Behind these doors lie our ticket to recognition," Daejin declared, his voice trembling slightly as he knocked. The door creaked open, revealing a scene that caught them off guard – gangsters sprawled on the floor, indulging in beer and card games, while scantily clad women counted stacks of money.

"What do these nerds want?"

"I think this was a bad idea," Sino said quietly as Daejin spoke up. Sino voiced his concerns while Daejin interrupted, continuing the conversation "WHERE'S YOUR HEAD DAD!?" As he said that, they entered the apartment room and were greeted by the dad.

"What do you want with me?" He asked while taking a drag from his cigarette. The dad enquired, maintaining a casual demeanor "We're gonna take you do-" Daejin said, but he was cut off by a fist connecting with his face. Daejin's sentence was cut short as he was abruptly punched in the face "You think we'd let losers into our fam? Get real." The uncle of the fam said as he cracked his knuckles and turned his head to the others.

Meanwhile*

I continued wandering Aera's neighborhood, but there was no hope of finding them. "How can I lose nerds? They stick out the most." I asked myself and took out my phone to give Daejin a call, but I got a call from Sarah. I was puzzled by the situation and took out their phone, only to receive an unexpected call from Sarah "Huh?" I answered the call and put it on speaker. "Hello?"

"H-Help." Sarah said, it sounded like her mouth was filled with something. "Huh? Sarah? What do you mean?" I asked as another voice was heard from the phone. Sarah's distressed plea for help caught My attention, leading to further confusion,

"Oh, so you're the leader of this nerd ball, huh?" It was the dad of the runaway fam. The dad of the runaway fam taunted me, recognizing their role as the leader "Who are you? And what happened to Sarah?"

I began walking faster in the streets, a little nervous. I then heard an iMessage ding from my phone and clicked on it to see…a massacre. Sarah's body was bloodied and bruised. Aera's face looked like she had been beaten to a pulp.

Daejin's body seemed unconscious, and his head looked like it had been hit by something like a bat, and Sino…both his arms were broken, and a few of his teeth were next to his body, seemingly punched out of his mouth.

My heart raced as I stared at the horrifying images on my phone. The sight of my crewmates, battered and broken, sent shockwaves through my entire being. Anger and guilt swirled within me, fueling my determination to find the perpetrators responsible for this brutality.

"Where are you?" I said calmly into the phone, my voice trembling. The dad of the runaway fam chuckled on the other end, reveling in the pain he had inflicted upon my friends.

I composed myself and demanded to know the location, confronting the sadistic dad "Don't worry, they're still alive, and our whereabouts?

Don't worry, we're switching homes anyways, but just so you can save your friends, I've dropped the location. You better hurry before they eventually bleed out." He said, laughing sadistically, and hung up. I ran to the location he sent me and ran up the stairs to see the bloodbath.

I called the ambulance and sat in the middle of them. "Wake up, guys." I said with my voice cracking. "Who am I gonna watch anime with?" They didn't respond, and a few minutes later, the ambulance came and checked on their bodies and brought them to the vans.

As the ambulance doors closed, I sat there in shock, my mind racing with thoughts of revenge and justice. I couldn't bear the sight of my friends lying there, so broken and battered, their lives hanging in the balance. Anger boiled inside me, fueling my determination to bring down those responsible for this heinous act.

I followed the ambulance to the hospital with Sino's car, my heart heavy with worry. The sound of monitors, beeping and echoing through the sterile corridors, filled the air as I paced back and forth in the waiting room. Hours turned into an eternity as I anxiously awaited any news about my friends' conditions.

Finally, a doctor emerged from the emergency room, his face grave and weary. He approached me with a sympathetic expression, and my heart sank. "I'm sorry," he began softly, "they're in critical condition. We're doing our best to stabilize them, but it's going to be a long and difficult road to recovery."

Tears welled up in my eyes as I thanked the doctor for his efforts. I was overwhelmed by a sense of guilt, blaming myself for their injuries. If only I had found them sooner, if only I had been there to protect them. The weight of responsibility bore down on me, and I vowed to seek justice for my friends.

A COUPLE DAYS LATER

I walked into the fashion class not caring that it was the wrong one and took a seat next to Daniel and Zack, for some reason Vasco and Jace were there too. "Hey guys." I said, looking down with a smile." Vasco put a shoulder on my hand and with a serious look he said. "Dongyu, this is the hardest part about being a leader, you can't always save your crewmates." I nodded and smiled. "What are you guys talking about? It's all water under the bridge ya know?" Vasco nodded and Jace went back to talking.

"So the runaway fam-" I grabbed his shoulders and yelled. "WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE RUNAWAY FAM? DON'T LEAVE ANYTHING OUT!" He removed my arms and explained everything.

"So the runaway fams are point organizations of Hostel? Ok I understand." I said as I stood up. "Wait, we don't even have a plan!" Jace yelled, causing me to stop. "We don't need a plan-"

I saw the quest and sat back down. "Dammit, what's the plan?" I asked as Jace's ears twitched and he smiled in cockiness.

GangDong

Me and Daniel were sitting on a bench waiting to be scouted from a runaway fam. "Now listen, all you have to do is follow Jace's plan and we can take the runaway fams down." Daniel explained as I nodded in agreement and a smile. "I'm alright Big Daniel, you don't have to tell me like a little kid or anything." I said in a calm voice.

Two girls walked up to us completely surprised by our handsome face, well more or so Daniel's but whatever. "Hello!" "Like what" said and "So funny" asked. "Are you a celebrity?" Daniel responded with a smile. "No I'm no celebrity but we are looking for runaway fams."

I stood up and was gonna go closer but Daniel ran with the girls to a fast food restaurant. "THAT PERVERT!" I yelled finally letting the anger out. "You seem pretty strong, do you wanna join our family?" I heard, looking up at 3 strong guys: One named Yujeon, Kisan, and the leader, Deoksu. I easily recognized the voice and had a malicious smile on my face. "Yes, I would love to join."

"There's an entrance fee, 3000 won." Deoksu said with a smile, knowing no kid would have that much money. "Oh that's it?" I pulled some stolen money from the slime but it was hidden in my pocket, "Here you go." I said handing him the money and they all looked surprised.

They took me to their new apartment and upon entering the first thing I saw was drugs, women in revealing clothing, and guys smoking and doing drugs. "Who the hell is this?" A fat guy with tattoos named: Dae Seok asked while smoking. "This is Dongyu sir, he paid our fee very easily." Yujeon replied and threw the band of money near Dae Seok. "Hm this is a lot of money, but how can he contribute to us?" I couldn't help but chuckle and they looked at me in a confused way. "I-I'm sorry." I raised my hands and continued laughing. "What's up with him? Kisan asked, raising his bat. "You're all dead for hurting my babies!" I continued laughing but this time with a maniacal smile.

CHUNCHEON

Jibeom, Jihan, and Jichang all sat in the police station. "Hey big bro." Jibeom asked and Jichang turned his gaze to him. "How come you chose that nerdy looking kid to be your student?"

Jibeom asked and Jihan nodded. "It just doesn't make sense for someone like him to get your acknowledgement in the first place. "Hm, you wanna know why I picked him?"

His brothers nodded and leaned in. "Well it isn't only because he reminds me of "Him" or because of his intelligence, but he's literally insane. He doesn't care who he fights, he takes any risk he can to beat someone, whether it's slamming somebody's head on concrete or even biting somebody's arm off, he'll do anything and that's before he even goes into his insane mode."

He explained, causing Jibeom and Jihan to nod. "So do you think he'll be stronger than the first generation kings?" Jihang asked, causing Jichang to smirk and explain. "If he continues training and fighting…he'll be the new king of Seoul."

BACK IN GANGDONG

"WHOOHOO!" I exclaimed while beating the dad's and uncles up with invisible kicks and 'The peak' moves while also copying Jichang's moves. "BRING OUT YOUR BIG DADDY!" I sat on the leader's body. "I'M JUST ITCHING TO KILL HIM!" I yelled laughing maniacally.

I yelled in an excited voice. "CLAIM THE MOTHERFUCKING CARD."

"A HEALING BEAN?! FINALLY I NEEDED SOMETHING LIKE THIS!" I looked at the card. "I shouldn't use it on the crew, if they had more I would've." I grabbed an 'Uncles' phone and raised his head. "So what's the code to become a dad and meet your big daddy?" I asked him and he began sobbing. "It's F-FR." He answered and I typed it in and sent it.

The uncle sent me the address and I left the apartment, closing the door on the bloodbath in there.
