Diana slowly moved through the night of the city which was lit up by the night lights and seemed quite lively, cars were passing through the streets, drunks were pouring out of restaurants and bars, various beggars and gangsters were moving through the alleys.

"Hello princess why don't you come have fun with us!" Diana sighed as she was approached by the sixth group at just the last hour, she didn't even say and just conjured up the fog that devoured those men in seconds before they could even react.

The fog writhed with the new meal before moving back inside and Diana continuing her way towards a Rank E portal that appeared yesterday, it was located inside a building under construction in a somewhat remote area but not too far away. .

Of course the area was closed off so that workers and hunters could watch the portal and prepare to attack, with luck today there were no hunters on the scene ensuring Diana would have no problems for the time being.

She surveyed the place for a while before starting to circle it and slowly releasing her fog around her and making her hide in the shadows without alerting the unnoticed workers of the danger around her.

" I'm sorry for this." Diana uttered a silent apology before moving her hands and making the fog act, the workers at the site couldn't even react before being attacked by the fog and having their minds subdued paralyzing them.

" All right." She said before entering the place and passing the workers who had dark green eyes devoid of life and were standing still like zombies, but despite that appearance Diana assured them they were just having their minds taken over.

She decided for now to draw a boundary of who or what she could devour to strengthen herself until she understood herself better, and with that she slowly approached the portal that glowed brightly in the night.

The fog on her body writhed with hunger as she felt the portal and pleaded with Diana to let her out to devour the portal, "Not yet, first let's devour what's inside." Diana whispered to the mist that calmed and she then took her steps inside the portal.

The feeling was hard to describe, one moment I was in one place and felt the fog there around me controlling the workers, the next I was in a rainforest and had totally lost connection with the real world.

"What would this place be?" I asked myself touching the ground and looking at the trees around me, everything so vivid and full of energy, "This is so, lush." I commented when the fog inside me started to feel hungry and asked to be released.

At that same moment I felt several red eyes looking at me from the leaves and several short, green and hideous beings wearing tribal clothes came out of the trees and bushes as they laughed at me and pointed their filthy fingers in my direction.

Some even licked their lips hungrily as they stared at my flesh probably thinking of today's feast, unfortunately for the goblins they weren't the ones who would feast on a big feast today.

Feeling the haze restless inside me I smiled as I placed my hands on my chest, "Go and devour what you want, consume what you can, bring the ruin to this place." I said almost in a whisper and let go of the fog that answered my call and left my body in the form of fast hands that attacked the goblins that weren't prepared for it.

"Now let me revel in this place." I affirmed as I licked my lips in pleasure as I felt the vital energy and a new mana entering me and strengthening me.
