Chapter XIII - Warrior of my dreams (1/3)

Team Anti-Christmas and WOD sat in Varun's house, they finally remembered everything. Attear, coming home, Psycho-blades, Phobetor, Dream-zombies, Morpheus, Fara, Mesomorph, it all had come back now.

WOD had a new makeover now… before she was in a similar armour to Varun but now she had a better looking one and one which suited her? Well, the eight just sat there in deep thought of something and WOD just watched the expressions changing on their face.

"I must say, it's an honour to meet you all. In person I mean," WOD said, again for the tenth time.

"We actually are happy you found us," Aria said.

"We know what happened. But, tell us what we don't," Jay said.

"I don't know and she doesn't too," Varun said.

"Hold up before you cause a sonic boom. I do know many things. Ok, some things. Helpful things," WOD said.

"You are just him aren't you? You talk just like him," Aria said.

"Well, I'm the voice in his head. So technically him and many other qualities, gives rise to me. It's a bit complicated but simple if you think about it," WOD said.

"Why are you a girl and hiding your face?" Varun asked.

"You want me to say that out loud?" WOD asked.

"So, it is that. Then lets continue on Morpheus topic," Varun said.

"Good choice," WOD said.

"No… we want to know. What is it?" Fara asked.

"Nothing more important than Morpheus and our life, Fara," Varun said.

"Fine… tell us about Morpheus," Fara sighed.

"Are we really in the dream realm?" Flint asked.

"Oh yes, we are alright. I mean, this is my world so not a problem to me. But for you, it's a big-big problem my friends," WOD said.

"Time to elaborate my girl," Varun said.

"Yeah, so, when you entered the gate it was a trap, but you followed Varun. Morpheus had created a portal to the dream realm and you entered right in… physically, but are here mentally and completely. Your bodies are still at the gate but your whole mind is trapped here. And as you've heard, people go awry when this happens," WOD said.

"Metamorph, did mention that," Varun said.

"The relativity is very huge and immeasurable. It could be eight hours in reality and you could glimpse into this realm for an hour to a month. That vividly gets different when your whole mind is here. You are living a moment over there and days have passed here. But again, time is not a thing but is according to you people. So, the next moment there will be your zombies or you escaping this place or just as simple as death," WOD said.

"Way for raising my confidence, continue," Varun said.

"Whatever happened to Chethan and Sandeep sir," Jiant pointed out.

"Oh that… Sandeep sir was connected to Varun's mind and his form was here. And since it was just a glimpse according to him, he was more aware than any of you. And Kara… well was just Morpheus' HIRY or something. Morpheus wasn't controlling it but it was protecting him on its own. And so was Varun's other HIRY, who disguised as Chethan," WOD said.

"So, the actual one is safe?" Jay asked.

"Yeah, don't worry," WOD said.

"He connected to my brain…? How is that even possible?" Varun asked.

"Well… he is an O.M.E.E.B. and that is all I know. What kind of O.M.E.E.B., since when, is not what I know. But, that was his power… or one of his powers, I could say," WOD said.

"Wow… now things seem clearer about what all he talked," Varun said realising now.

"And I just barely sent him away from here. He is in the real world, at the split moment. And will contact you after you are out of here, probably. If you concentrated on what he said, that's what he was trying. But you will be caught here for a while surely," WOD said.

"Is this what Phobetor wanted to 'collect' us for? To get us into this portal and into the dream realm…?" Adam asked.

"Not really, it was to collect you and make the portal. But Morpheus somehow could get the portal done without you. It's possible if like many people came together in a spot and their energies can mix to help the portal open," WOD said.

"The place was completely empty," Maaz pointed out.

"Yeah, it could be that somehow Morpheus did that and got the portal running," Adam said.

"Well, then why does he need us here?" Jiant asked.

"Stability… how much ever Dream-zombies he creates and gets the portal running, it wouldn't be stable enough. He trapped you here to test the stability and it is working. He would have even reached his destination by now," WOD suggested.

"His parents…?" Jay asked.

"Yes, that is correct," WOD said.

"None of this will hurt. I mean, he gets to his parents and family reunion. He goes away from Earth. Problem solved," Varun said.

"Well, you changed that," WOD said.

"I'm sure Rahambose is related," Varun sighed.

"Right, so you became an Attear and Phobetor told that to Morpheus, who is smart enough to figure that you are the H.O.D.. Morpheus told Phobetor that whatever happens they must win and give Earth to Rahambose. That way you and Rahambose will be occupied with each other and Morpheus gains what he wants," WOD said.

"So… he is here? Rahambose I mean," Aria asked.

"No… Phobetor went to give him the news. Probably by now would have reached the Altar of Rahambose which is far as much as I know, but Phobetor is fast. Or he will reach soon enough, not for me to exactly calculate. And if you can't stop Morpheus, Earth to Rahambose and Rahambose to you," WOD said.

"I swear this is all a loop," Varun sighed.

"It sure does feel like one," WOD said.

"You think so too?" Varun asked.

"Well, it's a hunch I got from all this. When you deal with time, you know, Rahambose, time guardian and all that, it is possible. But I can't always be right you know," WOD said.

"Hope you're not," Varun said.

"You guys hopefully haven't walked deep enough. Because that just brings you closer to going… awry," WOD said.

"If you say awry one more time…" Varun warned.

"Is it really that bad? We thought it will get us out," Aria said.

"Right… no more. Let me do the twisting of worlds and choosing of locations. And you guys fight along if it comes to that. Because that is how it works," WOD said.

"We still don't have weapons," Jay said.

"And some of us don't have Trigon… oh wait, only me," Fara said.

"When it comes to it, I'll help you don't worry. We can't be wasting more… thoughts on this," WOD said.

Varun and Jay burst out laughing.

"How… -how was that funny to you three?" Maaz sighed.

"Well, we need to just go and stop psycho either way. We kill him here or in the real world doesn't matter," Jiant said.

"True… but the king and queen wouldn't like it when you do that," WOD said.

"The king and queen of this realm…?" Aria asked.

"Yeah," WOD said.

"But why…?" Adam asked.

"Because they are his parents," WOD said.

"Wow, that just got all my organs dysfunctional," Varun said.

"Is that why it protected him on the planet where he first tried to open the portal?" Aria asked.

"Ok, here is the story. That lady who first tried to research on dream realm, succeeded. And she met our king, Somnus, and as any story, they fell in love. They only had one kid, who is Morpheus, how and why Phobetor came into picture, I do not know. Irrespectively, Morpheus went to Leishank as an orphan and Phobetor was first heard of in 'The Empire' and never before," WOD said.

"What kind of mystery are these two?" Varun sighed.

"Phobetor was an evil dragon who just was finding his so-called 'brother' and wanted to cause harm to people badly. Morpheus was a soft scientist with an idea of where his parents were. Morpheus went on and tried to open the portal once and succeeded but failed. Phobetor joined as a friend, knowing Morpheus is his brother somehow and the rest must be pretty much clear," WOD said.

"Huge scientist dude, huge dragon dude," Varun said.

"Technically, a very peculiar and mysterious dude," WOD said. "We know he exists, but how, just is completely unknown. He just is an unsolved riddle, Phobetor."

"Ok… forget it, Phobetor isn't here. What is this Somnus?" Aria asked.

"Somnus is the first HIRY and technically the father of all other HIRies in the dream realm. You know how it goes, it's just one guy and no guy who became more but, none of them exist. And he is technically elder to all of us, but also time is not a thing and just the imagination here," WOD said.

"Yeah… let's never ever talk about that again. Gives my head the worst ache," Varun said.

"Yeah me too, but technically my mind is all yours," WOD said.

"Oh for Flint's sake," Varun sighed.

"Relax man," Flint said.

"So, like all your… imaginary minds are one? I mean, it's just all him, Somnus?" Aria asked.

"What she means to ask is… whatever you are seeing, is he seeing too?" Fara asked.

"If that is so, he could be onto us you know," Jay added.
