Prophecy Failure: Mr. Reckless NOT Harbinger of Death

One's trash is another's treasure. Varun may have failed and died after being the Prophecy hero, the end of the chaos, Rahambose... but he wishes for another to rise, after he falls. By telling his story of the Prophecy Failure, he uses the last of his breath and hope, hoping for the real hero to rise. A secret superhero. A Psychopath. A nightmare causing dragon. The last survivor of the second strongest intelligent beings. A normal college student, barely ever travelled in his life, summoned to an alien planet and given powers. A normal city, never having seen snow, covered in ice. A normal friend group, who quarrel amongst themselves, left to fight against things beyond their wildest dreams. A normal girl, who can't take care of self, forced to be the queen of Pluto. A Prophecy Failure, worth telling. Will a story be enough? To bring about a hero? Or just another Prophecy Failure? At least heroes are real. But so is he, Rahambose. And so is the fact that: in the end it is ALWAYS Rahambose.

Chapter VII - Error #404 (1/3)

"Then I need to go, and soon. They don't have armours or something to protect them. I don't think if hands are a good match against a fire breathing beast," Varun said.

"Technically he can't breathe fire, just a dragon," Manasie said.

"Yeah that calms me down, by ZERO PERCENT!" Varun screamed.

"Calm down screamer, we'll get you out of here," Kara said and got up.

Kara walked up to Varun and then behind him, she reached for the gem behind Varun and removed it. Varun's armour vanished but he was still on Pluto. Varun quickly covered his face with his hands after he took a look around.

"What in the world is this now?" Varun asked.

"The stone-gem… removed but didn't teleport you," Kara said, looking at the stone in her hand.

"Put it back then," Varun said.

"What, like this?" Kara asked and placed the gem to Varun's back, and the armour appeared again.

"Well, that was weird," Varun said, straightening up like nothing happened.

"What went wrong? Don't tell me that it is me," Kara said.

"I need to go soon, before my friends are MASSACRED by some dragon," Varun said.

"There are no other ways to teleport you though," Magpie said.

"Well I might know a reason for this. And a possible way," Harun said.

"Curious," Nightrale said, having a hunch on what it was.

"Psycho," Harun said.

"And there it is," Nightrale sighed.

"Why him?" both Manasie and Kara asked, looking pissed off.

"Before you dismantle me, hear me out. He said he had a makeshift, Lady Tacy. And he teleported away from the battle before, which can't be done by any known technology up to date. So, he must have blocked the teleportation somehow or at least we can make use of his to send Master Varun back to Earth," Harun said.

"Don't ever again call me Master Varun, or I'll burst out in happiness and die," Varun said.

"That would be a contradiction of my code," Harun said.

"Really?" Varun asked.

"Nope, just my character I happened to decide upon after having to mask as a Primevel, who was basically a minister of the castle," Harun said.

"As much as I love how great you are. I REALLY need to go, so let's get started on Psycho," Varun said.

Harun nodded. "The team's here for it, after all."

"Where are Alias and Nemesis?" Varun asked.

"Welcome us," Alias' voice came from near the door.

Everyone turned towards the door and there stood two knights in their armour, the tall one was Alias and the other was Nemesis. Alias had a better looking, heavier armour.

"In no time I'll have a good use for my blade," Nemesis said.

"That is the dialogue you wanted to say all along but required audience for," Alias said.

"You two look great," Varun said.

"Yeah, nearly identical to Varun," Magpie scoffed.

"You could be triplets," Manasie mocked.

"Brothers from another mother," Alias said.

"Let's not push it currently. My Earth team is in danger," Varun said.

"Oh, what's wrong?" Nemesis asked.

"A little teleportation malfunction. An error #404," Kara said.

"However you said that, I like that," Varun said.

"Average," Nightrale said.

"Bearable," Manasie and Magpie said.

"Any idea on where Psycho could be?" Magpie asked.

"I might have a way," Manasie said.

"Easier done than said," Varun said.

"I'm sure it is the opposite," Nightrale said.

"Not the time," Varun said.

They reached the lab where Magpie and Nightrale had gotten their powers from. Everyone split as a group of two, Varun and Harun, Nemesis and Alias, Nightrale and Magpie, Kara and Manasie.

They had microphones on, which Harun had given them before leaving the castle. Everyone cautiously moved through the lab, looking for Psycho or any other suspicious thing they could find.

Harun and Varun finally found someone turned against a table in a room. Harun signalled to Varun that he'd go first. Harun started going in the room as slowly as possible as a glass piece crackled below his foot and Psycho got alerted surely, but didn't flinch.

"Right here, our miraculous creation was made," Psycho said still looking at the table.

"Clearly, only your fetish with tables and you forgetting who exactly was on it. However dirty it might sound, no one ever liked you, to start with," Harun mocked.

"Guys, I don't know where I'm. But, Harun is burning Psycho," Varun whispered into his microphone.

"I know where you are, don't worry. Magpie, remember where I found you? Meet me there," Manasie said, through the microphone.

"Already there," Magpie said, through the microphone.

"I do believe this was the room where you had imprisoned Lady Tacy," Harun said.

"Ah, always been a great robot. And please, call her Makeshift, she deserves the respect. All she now is an energy flowing through our galaxy. And maybe even far, but our nature for caution prevents me to try and embrace it. I for one am bound with their primitive ways even after my marvellous transformation," Psycho said.

"You have clearly made a great discovery. The Linguists would be more than happy to accept you back to their planet. What more could you want?" Harun asked.

"Truly, it makes me happy, your fast functioning capacity. Bringing back all the information from ages long," Psycho praised Harun.

"If you call two decades as ages," Harun said.

"And with a pinch of mockery… you make me doubt who my best creation is," Psycho laughed.

"Well, you did already claim it was yourself," Harun said.

"Oh yes, but you know what I mean Harun. The Psycho-blades aren't all bad. Then there is my War Queen. Those two of her friends, one could take me down alone and other my whole army, truly impressive. Then there is my Makeshift and you. However I'm in love with my Makeshift currently. With all the things possible for me to do, one being our union right her," Psycho said.

"Oh that makes things easier. Then you do know why I'm here," Harun said.

"Yes… your queen can't bring her earthen hero back here," Psycho laughed softly.

"Actually," Varun said entering the room. "Can't get me back to my planet it is."

Psycho turned behind, he was the one who had escaped from Kara and the others before.

"Oh… my," Psycho said and disappeared after a white bubble formed around him.

"Scared big fat wounded and mutated mole rat. Now I feel how Nightrale and the others felt," Varun sighed.

"You wouldn't have had to, if you hadn't come in," Harun said.

"Well, now we know that he was expecting all this. But, wanted me to be stuck on Earth badly. People are afraid of me," Varun said, praising himself.

"And now you'll be stuck on Pluto instead," Harun said.

"Please say psyche," Varun sighed.

"Well, I wouldn't want you to have a heart seizure. Not a complete answer, but I just might have a way to get you back to Earth," Harun said.

"How…?" Varun asked.

"He did say there was some energy overlapping our galaxy and more," Harun said.

"Not the exact words, but yeah, why?" Varun asked.

"Well, if it is indeed everywhere, we can somehow make use of it," Harun said.

"How…?" Varun asked.

"Memory capacity," Harun said.

"I do get the references, but, not completely," Varun said.

"Me too, friend Varun… yet," Harun said.

Everyone except Harun rushed into the throne room, looking for Harun.

"He rushed out of the lab, naked and screaming 'Eureka'?" Manasie asked.

"Out of the bath tub," Varun said.

"Not Archimedes, Harun," Manasie sighed.

"He had the same excitement but he just ran off screaming 'wait in throne room'. And that is that," Varun said.

"Right, we thought it was you screaming for some weird reason," Kara said.

"Very funny, when your robot friend ran away as something strike his mind," Varun said.

"Not the perfect comeback," Kara shook her head.

"He hopefully is finding an answer and will be back soon," Manasie said.

Everyone just sighed and went near the throne and stood around it as Kara sat upon it.

"We need a lot of chairs here than just one," Alias suggested.

"It is a throne room, only with throne," Kara said.

"Well, usually there are many more across the whole room. Not just a throne and some huge swords hanging near the walls, by the entrance," Varun said.

"I always wondered why there is only one throne here too and nothing besides the Swayers," Nightrale said.

"It's been this way always, I don't know why," Magpie said.

"Yeah, it's weird now that I think about it," Manasie said.

"You people are just bored," Kara sighed.

Everyone got silent and started staring at the walls ahead of them.

"So, did anyone see Varun's face when his armour disappeared?" Manasie asked.

"Wanted to, but was distracted," Nightrale said.

"Even I couldn't see," Magpie said.

"And I was behind him," Kara said.

"Oh, so no one saw," Manasie said.

"Oh, so that is how it started," Nemesis said.

"You don't talk much Nemesis," Manasie pointed out.

"Yeah, he seems to do that around people. Specifically girls I would say," Alias said.

"Something like stage fear… date fear?" Varun said, thinking deeply.

"Oh come on, you can fight off and kill people, but not talk to girls?" Manasie asked.

"I just don't talk much in general, and Primevel warriors don't exactly kill people," Nemesis said clearing his throat.

"I would say silent around girls," Varun said.

"Yeah," Manasie accepted.

"I'm just cold and silent usually all the time," Nemesis said.

"Right, right," Varun said.

Everyone got silent and again stared at the walls.

"What if some girl is a villain and you have to fight her? And you for some reason have to talk?" Magpie asked.

"Yeah like to keep her in control you have to talk to her and you are the only one there," Nightrale added.

"The place would be doomed," Alias and Varun said and gave each other a Hi-Fi.

"I can talk if it comes to that," Nemesis said.

Everyone got silent again.

"Yeah, still you aren't so good at it now. How can you talk her out of it?" Kara asked.

"Are you seriously, serious?" Nemesis sighed.

"Maybe we must teach you how to talk," Magpie pointed.

Nemesis just groaned in a low tone and everyone got silent.
