The guilt that each of them felt was quite heavy, and it made them put even more effort into being nicer.
And so it began, the chocolate dipping and sizing up of their strawberries as the played snakes and ladders.
Funnily enough, Li Jun had terrible luck in the game, and in strawberry sizes. The bickering and playful bantering continued over every strawberry and every roll of the dice and soon, they'd somehow managed to binge all the strawberries and chocolate despite once saying they'd be having it the next day.
At some point, Tai Yang threw caution to the wind and gulped down the entire glass of wine, and there wasn't much Li Jun could do besides chastise the scientist who suddenly became quite giggly and flaccid.
"Hey. Who t-told you that saying?" Tai Yang asked, quite drunk.
