CHAPTER 1 - Go Ha Jin comes back

Go Ha Jin opened her eyes slowly. Despite memories flooding her brain, she was not anxious. Rather, tears pooled in her eyes, feeling regret for the man left behind in an ancient era. There was no doubt it was real as her heart singed with pain. She is no longer Hae Soo but Go Ha Jin, Military Chief of Country X.

"Chief!!", her assistant Mr. Shou Woo cried, relief clearly heard in his voice. "Can you hear me?"

With difficulty, Go Ha Jin nodded her head as searing hot pain travelled through her body. The 5 year training she had received for becoming the Military Chief had hardened her 22 year old body to make it resilient to normal pain. But it seemed the 3 bullets hitting on her vital organs and shoulders were enough to knock her down. Now she just wants to know how long she unconscious.

Don't get her wrong. She likes her Prince So. But she was also the Chief of Military and she didn't trust many of the parliamentary ministers who are waiting for the opportunity to align with foreign terrorists for money yet betraying the people they promised to serve. Go Ha Jin hopes she was out for not too long. She wouldn't no what to do if she had been in a coma for more than a year.

"How long have I been out?"

As she asked this question, an army of doctors barged in and one of them, a brave one but by look on his a person wanting to take the credit for her discharge, came forward and asked in a fawning manner,

"How are you feeling, Chief? I am Lu Lingdong, head of Hospital X."

"I don't think this is the right time to introduce yourself, Doctor Lu. Treat the patient before rushing to take the credit.", a familiar voice interrupted.

Go Ha Jin slowly turned her head to the new comer and relief spread through her. Oh, she is also thankful for coming back or else she would not see her wonderful and sweet 6 elder brothers in all but blood.

"Oppa!!", she mournfully called. One of the 6 brothers Dr. Su Ruangong, also known in the medical field as the Miracle Doctor, came in.

Worry filled his handsome face as he approached her and lovingly brushed his hands on her scalp, his effort in soothing in whatever pain she is in.

"It's OK little sister. Oppa is here. The other 5 will come soon. Tell me where it hurts."

Go Ha Jin denied any pain but decided to be comfortable with her brother's loving hands in her head.

"How long was I out?"

"Not for long. Just three days."

Having heard the answer, she sighed, "Just three days but felt like a lifetime.."

"You said something kiddo?"

She denied again and slowly dozed off. Dr. Su was glad to see her go to sleep and not in a coma. Seeing this, he exempted everyone including her assistant out of the room while he guarded her bedside like a tiger to his cub.

Soon, the other brothers, aka, the tigers will arrive. Go Ha Jin would be smothered to bits by these overprotective beasts.

Go Ha Jin might be the Military Chief, the highesy Military authority and sometimes, the highest authority to Country X. But to these men, she is their Lady Luck, their Kiddo, their little sister. And she is very lucky to have them with her.
