Escape

They heard what Licht said and they tried to escape. They all turned in a different direction. Hoping Licht will have the ability to chase only one person.

Licht shook his head and shrugged. He took one step and he was in front of Leo once again.

"This would not have happened if they had just given you up," Licht said to Leo. Leo growled then attacked with a swipe of his claw but that did not even faze Licht. Aiesha saw what was happening, she stopped running and returned to help Leo.

"Awwnn, she came back to help you. Young love really is beautiful." Licht said with an infatuated expression "Do not worry I would make sure you guys go together so no one would not be lonely"

Leo roared and attacked faster while Aiesha attacked from behind. Licht shook his head and a golden aura spread out from him and in less than a second, the heads of both Leo and Aiesha left their bodies.

The last thought they had was "Fuck. Why did we offend this demon?"

Licht saw the headless bodies and motioned to Midas who understood what he meant. Midas sat in the lotus position to absorb the souls of Leo and Aiesha. He used the souls to reinforce the other souls within his.

The others were still escaping in different directions. They looked back to see Leo and Aiesha being beheaded. They saw Licht look at the sky and then hitting his naginata on the ground. He vanished again. This time he was in front of Old man Choi.

Choi attacked immediately as he found Licht had appeared in front of him. He struck forward with his blade-like limb but Licht blocked it. He look unimpressed as he stabbed through Choi like paper.

The old man stared at the weapon that had gone through his torso. His face was filled with fear and regret but there was nothing he could do at this point.

Old man Choi's body fell to the ground but Licht was no longer there. As his life was fading from his body, he saw Licht appear behind Ahang slicing him across the waist. Licht killed them all quite cruelly as a demon would.

Abigail saw what was happening. Despite her expressionless face, there were hints of panic and fear on her face so she decided to use a final forbidden spell.

She stopped before Licht dashed at her and chanted

"Manifest and be my weapon. Appear so I can destroy my enemy. I summon you, Knochen"

As soon as she was done with the spell, the bones of the corpses started to twirl and spin. They formed a whirlwind till it stopped and what stood before everyone's eyes was a giant that was made of the pile of bones.

The giant had two heads, with four arms, on each arm there was a weapon. The giant was about five meters tall. On the shoulder of the giant stood Abigail staring down at Licht.

"What a peculiar attribute. Too bad she has to die." Licht said as he shook his head.

Abigail gestured at the giant to attack. A giant club and blunt sword came down at Licht. He dodged the attack but more attacks kept coming, he did not have time to breathe.

The giant kept attacking him and he kept dodging the attack. He finally had the chance to counterattack. He slashed with his naginata and the giant slashed with the sword, there was a huge shockwave that pulverized the town gates and walls.

They continued attacking each other and the attacks kept releasing shockwaves making Midas and the others move farther away from the battle currently happening.

Licht retreated as the fight was exhilarating for him but he needed to end.

"Order: Sentence"

A force pressed down the giant and Abigail on it. They were unable to move as the force pressed upon them. Abigail stared venom at Licht as he stood there unbothered.

"How many attributes does his guy have?" She pondered as she struggled

Sounds of creaking and cracking came from the giant as the pressure increased. It was slowly breaking and it was soon slowly ground into bone dust. Abigail was still pressed down, bleeding from all her orifices but still alive.

She stared and Licht and said" Our master will find you and when he does, you would spend the rest of your life in regret"

The expressionless girl finally had an expression on her face as she died- a very malicious smile.

Licht stared at her body, shaking his head. He then turned around as he walked to his disciples and their servants.

Licht had no idea as Abigail died, several thousand kilometers away on a different continent, a man who was walking into a castle stopped as he looked in the direction of the Gregorian continent and said "They are all dead. I wonder what powerhouse ended them all. I guess I will find out later". As the man spoke, the shadows around him moved like tentacles till they were retracted back into his body.

Midas was digesting the last souls of the five, he stored the soul of Old man Choi in the cocoon that he previously made of souls of people that were unjustly killed be the main soul.

As Licht got to them, Regallas spoke "Master, are you okay?"

"Hahaha, it seems like someone is warming up to the idea of me" Licht laughed as he knew Regallas was still not totally open to the idea of being his disciple even though he accepted Licht as his master but it was under the persuasion of Priscilla and his weapon. After seeing Licht's power, he knew he did not make a mistake choosing him to be his master.

Regallas's face turned red as he heard what Licht said but it cleared as quickly as it appeared. He coughed and then said " I already warmed up to the fact since the day I chose to be your disciple"

"Anyways, you guys should go into the town. Check up on the people that were saved earlier. I will wait out with Midas as he upgrades his summons and levels up" Licht said

Regallas looked at Midas with envy as Midas would be far stronger than him now. He could not win against Midas before but if he upgraded his summons and increased in rank, he would even be farther away.

Licht noticed what Regallas was thinking and said "Don't worry, you will also level up soon"

Regallas knew that Licht wouldn't make empty promises so he was no longer jealous of Midas as he knew his increase in rank will be coming soon. He, the twins, and Daren went in the direction of the town to check up on the people that were saved.
