Chapter 244: A stranger to me

King Cole's POV

"Why did you come back, Cypher? You could have gotten yourself killed"

I exhaled as the stress of everything came back.

"Yeah, I know but I thought he was going to kill you and I couldn't let that happen" I answered.

She watched me for a few seconds before she spoke again.

"That is the most sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me…stupid even suicidal I might add but sweet but Jaga couldn't hurt me even if he tried…(she turned to look at him) he is my big brother. Big brothers tease and pull but when push comes to shove, they protect"

I watched as Jaga moved closer to her.

"Are you sure? There is no going back, Kanna…if you do this, we won't see each other again…you can't come home ever again, little sister"

Watching both their expressions told me a story. A story of two siblings who loved each other despite being raised by a tyrant.
