Chapter 87 : Updates

*Matthew's POV*

I couldn’t believe Trinity.

I didn’t say anything. Rather, I walked off. If she wanted to act like that, then two could play at that game. I could only be calm and patient for so long. I wasn't a damn saint.

I stormed down the hall and into my study, making sure to lock the door behind me. Within seconds, there was a soft little knock on the door, but I ignored it. I knew that it was petty, but I could put her off to talk to people as well.

My phone was in my hand before I knew what I was doing. I hadn't talked to my lawyer or my PI in a while. What a better time than now? And I paid them well enough that they always answered my calls, even on a Sunday.

I walked further into the room to get away from the knocking on the door and to make sure that Trinity wouldn't be able to overhear my conversations. There was a large window on the back half of the study and I looked out over the stunning view of Vancouver.

"Hello, Matthew," Joe's voice came over my phone.
