Chapter 58 : Court and Creepers
*Trinity's POV*
The sweat had already started to slide down the center of my back as I sat at the table for the offensive side of the courtroom.
Christiana was sitting across from me at the other side of the aisle. I was glad I didn't have to watch her walk into the courtroom this time. Since I didn't, I could more easily ignore her.
I was too worried to look at her again, especially since Matthew wasn't sitting there for support this time.
He was supposed to be here, but something had come up at the company and he had to go in. He promised that he would come to the court after lunch, though.
I loved that he was such a hard worker and that he was so passionate about music. It was one of the things that had made me start looking at him in a different light when I began working for the company. But while I knew I couldn't blame him, I was a little disappointed.
