"Because I love you." He said, kissing the tears from my eyes.

Is Derek sick?

Is something wrong with his brain?

Did he probably hit his head during the fight?

He seems to have lost it completely. What the hell is he talking about? Did he just say he loves me?

No. That must be a joke.

Yes. It has to be. Because the Derek I know would never say such a thing.

He even kissed my tears. Is he the same Derek who despises me so much?

Is he the same man that can't stand me at all? The same man who never wanted to see my face at all? The same man that rejected me without asking what I wanted.

Is this the same Derek, that shoos me off every time I tried to go close to him?

No, this definitely can't be Derek.

He is different from the man I have come to know.

"You what?" I asked alarmed.

"Yes Melody, you heard me right the first time. I'm in love with you."

I scoffed unbelievably and shook my head.
