Destruction Incarnate.(1)

[Christmas Eve, the night of December 24th, 2017.]

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The sound of explosions ringing through Shinjuku sounded off this night.

Bloodcurdling screams and frantic shouts followed.

Innumerable cursed spirits and sorcerers fought in the city, creating a scene of destruction that was unprecedented in the modern era.

"Ahh...a memorable scene."

On top of a skyscraper, a few figures could be seen spectating the carnage. Among them stood a man covered in a black cloak, his orange eyes the only thing visible under his hood.

This scene was familiar to him. The screams, the despair, the fear, everything was familiar.

How many times had he seen this before as he waged war across galaxies in the past?

Uncountable.

Being around such large scale battles caused Jin's blood to boil as his cloak fluttered in the wind.

Besides, his target was already within the city.

Satoru Gojo.

He could sense his cursed energy so clearly that it appeared like a giant flame within a sea of embers.

It was time to act.

Beside Jin stood the rest of Geto's 'family.'

Miguel, Mimiko, Nanako, Larue, Manami and Toshihisa.

All of them stood there with Jin looking over the city, itching for battle.

"You all know the plan. I distract Satoru Gojo while the rest of you cause havoc in the city. Whatever you need to do to make sure the chaos spreads, do it. Any questions?"

The rest of the curse users shook their heads. Their mission was clear enough.

"Good. Now, go. Time is ticking."

WHOOSH!

They all left in a blur as jumped across the rooftops, heading in different directions. The only ones left for Jin and of course, Miguel.

The latter approached Jin and laid his hand on his shoulder as he adjusted his glasses.

"My friend. You're facing the strongest sorcerer in the world. Are you excited?"

WHOOSH!

Jin's cursed energy flared up as he glanced back at Miguel, a wide smile plastered across his face.

"Excited? No, I'm ecstatic! I could barely contain myself anymore!"

Without warning or waiting for Miguel's response, Jin threw himself off of the building in a free fall, his senses locked on to Gojo's location like a beacon.

Of course, it was the same for Gojo. With the extreme visual prowess granted by his Six Eyes, he was watching Jin's every move like a hawk.

Jin knew this, but he didn't care. He wanted Gojo to see his own destruction coming.

As he fell to the ground head first, everything seemed as if it was in slow motion.

Jin clasped his hands together, made a hand sign, and grasped the air around him as if he was holding a certain weapon.

BZZT!

Red lightning surged as a giant arrow and bow appeared under Jin, causing him to flip over and land firmly on the tip of the arrow.

Jin's cursed technique was so multi-faceted that even though he trained with it for over a decade, he only understood so much of its potential.

On the surface, it seemed as if it was a simple technique.

Using his bio-field, Jin could create and project bio-generated nuclear energy and forces.

That was it.

Initially, all Jin could do was generate lightning and project highly volatile energy.

But as he trained over the years, he really started to understand a tiny bit of what he could really do.

He didn't just generate lightning, he was generating electromagnetic energy as a result of nuclear energy's connection to the weak force and electro-weak force.

BZZT!

That's why the electricity arcing off of the bow fried every electronic device within Jin's vicinity as it appeared. This was a force that could easily be used for destruction.

"Bang."

WHOOSHHHHH!

The moment those words left Jin's mouth, the crimson arrow soared through the night sky with Jin standing arms folded on top of it.

Nothing could stand in its path. Parts of buildings would disintegrate the moment the arrow even came marginally close to them.

It was the same for any unfortunate sorcerers or cursed spirits fighting along its path too.

The last thing they saw was a red light before their bodies were reduced to ash under the incredible power and speed the arrow possessed.

Within moments, the arrow arrived in front of Gojo, who was standing on the other side of the city.

BZZTTT!

Of course, it couldn't pierce his Infinity. But that wasn't the point of it either. The arrow was just an opener for their battle.

As the two finally locked gazes in preparation for a heated battle once again, Gojo was the first to speak.

"You know what I think every time I see you in action, Itadori? Man, what a monster. I wouldn't even have to lift a finger if you were on our side. I don't think there's a sorcerer or cursed spirit alive that could defeat you right now."

As he finished talking, Gojo removed his bandages from both eyes, dropping it to the streets below.

"Well, except me, of course."

With a light punch, Gojo destroyed the arrow, causing Jin to freefall once again.

In the next moment, Gojo appeared in front of Jin and rapidly threw various punches at him.

Of course, Jin responded in kind.

Immediately, Gojo noticed that it was the same as last time they fought even though he had refined his infinity immensely throughout the years.

'My infinity is mostly meaningless against him, but I notice that he could only pierce it with close ranged attacks. That means he's manipulating his body in some sort of way which interferes with the space around himself. I think he's doing it unconciously too. But how? Ah...what a strange cursed technique. I need to develop a strategy. And quick.'

It took less than a second for Gojo to process these thoughts mid-battle.

The Six Eyes were truly unmatched.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Jin had this light red aura around him as he fought while Gojo had bright blue. As they battled and constantly outmatched each other in hand to hand combat, they looked like two stars clashing in the night sky.

"Got you."

Jin finally broke Gojo's guard with multiple feints as he appeared behind him, grabbed him and threw him across the city through multiple buildings.

Gojo quickly recovered as Jin appeared right next to him almost instantly with red lightning arcing across his body. The two rapidly started facing each other in martial art combat once again, none of them letting up the pressure.

This time, Gojo was the one who caught Jin off guard as he kicked him halfway across the city and launched a 'Technique Reversal: Red' at him at the same time, sending him even further.

At least, that's what Gojo thought. But he soon learned the truth of the matter.

Jin appeared right in front of him once again in a short burst of lighting, holding his own Technique Reversal: Red to his chest.

"You know, Gojo, I'll tell you a little secret. Its never a good idea to use the same attack against me twice."

BOOM!

Gojo was sent flying across the city once again as his own attack exploded at point blank range on his chest.

He recovered momentarily, but he was still a bit dazed after that exchange.

'How did he replicate red? It's not only an energy attack, it's one that repels space in the direction I see fit. My eyes are telling me that he copied the technique in the same instance of me hitting him with it.'

Through the smoke, Jin could be seen approaching with his hands in his pockets. The cloak he wore was torn up and shredded, only revealing him wearing a black tight fitting T-shirt, grey sweatpants and black martial art shoes.

Each of which had their own damage.

"You're a monster, man! It doesn't even feel like I'm fighting against someone with a cursed technique. Your power doesn't seem to follow any rules! But who am I to talk?"

Gojo laughed as he formed a hand sign and stared at Jin with a crazed look in his eye.

"You're dangerous, Jin Itadori. But what you have in power, you lack in skill. You haven't reached your full potential as a sorcerer yet. That's why you lost."

Jin raised an eyebrow at Gojo's comment. What did he mean by he already lost?

"Ah, Suguru didn't tell you about this, didn't he? It only makes sense. I developed it after he left."

Jin could feel his senses warning him of extreme danger as Gojo's cursed energy flared, causing what seemed to be a stream of darkness to encapsulate them both.

"Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void."
