19 Shadow Essence

'What the hell?' Triumph exclaimed. In truth Triumph didn't really care about the thunderous sword technique because he didn't care about using a sword as a weapon. He only used it because he was the very first weapon he got from the system.

Although not all of Triumph's warriors used a sword, but he didn't care, maybe those who used it can practice it.

Luke and the rest of Triumph's warriors were all grateful. Triumph gave him a cultivation relaying sphere to Nicholas, it had contained a mage spell called; 'Mind Wrecker', according to the system's word, it was an incomplete half skill and the other parts were lost, but even now it was at the rank D.

The techniques use was highly overpowered, and it would bring out it's full potential at Nicholas' hands. Nicholas has a very rare ability and it was related to the mind, but his class was a mage, and according to the system's description, the Mind Wrecker technique is a technique which can influence the opponent's mind and cause their thoughts to enter disarray.

Soon after, Triumph went back to his room in the tower and he washed himself up. He soon slipped on a back and red robe which was similar to the one he had wore on the night of the descent of the system.

Triumph prepared himself and just a few minutes before 9:00am, a servant knocked at Triumph's door, when Triumph opened the door, the servant bent his head down.

"8th Prince Triumph Darcen, King Damien seeks an audience with you" the servant said as he gave him a token, and soon after the servant left.

Triumph was a little confused as to why his father would want an audience with him but he soon left after, he went to the great courtyard and he walked to an edge of the courtyard and he entered a secret door which led to a small castle and soon after he entered the palace, he found a chamber which he entered without hesitation and suddenly, several auras locked onto Triumph and they were ranging from Peak Nascent realm to Eminent Tyro realm.

Several guards appeared in front of Triumph, Triumph only took out the token and showed the guards and then the guards allowed him to pass as soon as they saw the token.

Triumph entered the chamber and he saw a teleportation matrix right at the centre of the chamber, nothing else was in the room. Triumph soon walked up to a teleportation matrix, before Triumph could touch the teleportation matrix, he stopped his hands mid-air, then a crazy thought appeared in his mind and without thinking he thought;

'System scan the teleportation matrix and tell me where they lead to'

[Affirmative. Scanning... there are five teleportation matrix and each one lead 10 km into the ground each]

'sss' Triumph drew in a cold breath, it looked like the information he got was quite wrong and it wasn't three but 5 and each of it teleported ten kilometers into the ground, so it meant that his father's real chamber lead 50km into the ground.

Triumph was a little suspicious, what if he died? Was there ventilation in the ground? Of course his father was at the Void realm, who knows what kind of power the monsters of the Void realm holds?

Although others may have not known that his father was at the Void realm since his father had hidden it, Triumph had used the system to scan through his father's aura, so it wasn't hard for the system to be able to scan it.

Triumph had once asked the system what it's main ability was and the reply had shocked Triumph.

Host, the system has many functions and uses, system can grant power to the Host, Give skills, techniques, spells and even abilities are not impossible.

System can help Host in cultivation and give Host Godly talents. Host must be informed that as long as the Host has enough points, anything can be done.

Of course the system has one major use that the system has one major use that the system excels at and that is analyzing and scanning abilities, the system can guarantee Host that the system has 99% certainty that the system's scanning and analytical skills and unrivaled]

The teleportation matrix glowed brightly and Triumph felt the little essence he had regained being snapped at an astonishing rate.

One had to know that Magical essence was something every cultivator had, it was what was used to cast spells for images, and it could also be used when using techniques or martial arts, it had also practically replaced stamina. Once someone stepped on the path of cultivation, magical essence practically replaced stamina because once someone ran out of magical essence, they would become very tired.

Magical essence could also be absorbed from the air and it is what cultivators absorbed during cultivation to increase their strength. That's why the rune stone of magical beasts were very important as they contained a quarter of the magical essence a beast had absorbed.

Triumph was surprised when he had heard what the system had said and when he asked, the system had told him that it was because his ability and shadow core. His ability was of a very high rank, so it had influenced what he could absorb. While his shadow core transformed every Magical essence he absorbed into shadow essence.

All of Triumph's shadow essence that had been replenishing was almost instantly absorbed by the teleportation matrix but luckily, it didn't, and soon later the light dimmed and with a flash Triumph vanished.
