"Yanyan, did you hear that?" Xia Yue was startled by the sudden appearance of the mechanical voice.

"Yes, you heard that too, Sister Yue?" replied Yanyan.

Knock knock knock knock.

"Sister Mei? Why are you sweating?" Xia Yue asked.

"Your brother's finger moves, b-b-b-but..." Su Mei was frightened by what she had seen earlier. She couldn't get over the changes she saw in Jiang Chen's body.

"What happened to my brother?!" Xia Yue hurriedly pushed Su Mei aside and ran towards her brother's room.

"N-n-no, Yanyan come back here!" Su Mei tried to catch her, but Xia Yue was too fast.

"What happened to Jiang Chen, Dr. Su?" Xia Yue asked with her voice pitching, clearly worried about Jiang Chen's situation.

"H-h-he...he changed!" After finishing her words, Su Mei's body seemed to be drained of energy, and she would have fallen to the floor if Xia Yue hadn't caught her.

"AHHHHHHH!" A loud shriek came from Jiang Chen's room.

Xia Yue was frightened by the loud shriek she heard. It was obvious that it was Jiang Yan who screamed. She hurriedly supported Su Mei to sit comfortably and ran quickly to the origin of the shriek.

"Yanyan, what happened? Did your brother wake up?" Xia Yue asked when she arrived at the room. She saw Jiang Yan sitting on the floor with a look of horror on her face.

"B-b-brother! He became a monster!" Jiang Yan weakly lifted her trembling fingers and pointed inside the room.

Xia Yue followed the trembling finger of Jiang Yan and saw a person standing beside the bed.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

What did she see?

She had just seen a monster, but its eyes were tightly closed, and Jiang Chen was nowhere to be found. There were only two possibilities: either Jiang Chen had been eaten by the monster or he had become the monster.

Su Mei finally regained some strength and summoned her courage. After all, she was a doctor, but this situation was beyond her comprehension. When she arrived at the room, she saw two women trembling in fear, their faces white and devoid of life.

"Yanyan, wake up!" She grabbed her shoulder and tried to bring her back to consciousness.

"Yanyan!"

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

She hugged her and said, "We need to confirm if it was your brother or not, but looking at his pants, it was clearly your brother."

"Yes. What happened to my brother?" The girl cried, her face full of tears, and her nose visibly running.

"We still need to confirm it, and for safety reasons, the only way we can guarantee our safety is to tie up your brother. Given the state of your brother, he is still unconscious."

"But if my brother has become a monster, what should we do?"

"There might be a solution, but right now, all we can do is pray that your brother is still himself."

They quickly forgot their fear and walked in front of Jiang Chen. As a doctor, Su Mei could adjust her mentality quite quickly, but she was still nervous. As for Jiang Yan, the moment Su Mei explained that the monster standing in front of them was her brother, she let go of her fear and walked towards Jiang Chen.

"Brother." Jiang Yan hugged the huge body of the monster and called out to it.

"Xiao Yan, we need to tie up your brother first, okay?" Su Mei glanced at the monster's bulky body.

The monster was tall, much like Jiang Chen's height, with a shiny black, metallic-looking right arm and visible scales on its neck.

"But..." Xiao Yan hesitated, reluctant to tie up the monster. When she had hugged the creature, she could feel that it was her brother and would not harm her. However, what about Su Mei and Xia Yue? Her brother might not recognize these people, so she hesitated. But in the end, she nodded.

"Where can we find some ropes?" Jiang Yan asked.

"I saw a huge metal rope hanging with those guns earlier."
