Chapter-56: Swimming against the river of time!

I came into my lab and started creating a giant seal for Hachibi, which was similar to that of Kyuubi.

After the seal was finished, I immediately summoned Karasuki who looked at me expectantly.

I nodded at him as I controlled my tenketsu points so that I can pour out all the tailed beast chakra out without any problems.

In 10 minutes, all the tailed beast chakra was poured out and Karasuki "ate" the chakra greedily as he processed my request.

After a few seconds, he immediately started glowing and a crack appeared in the space as Kyuubi and Hachibi's chakra literally disappeared.

"Please enter the portal and wait for some time till given the clear to leave." I heard Karasuki's voice as I entered inside the portal.

I was really happy that finally I was able to fulfill my goal of traveling into the past.

'Now it was all really easy. All I needed to do-' I thought as suddenly, an absurd phenomenon started happening.

My perception started going crazy as my instincts relaxed for a second and went haywire in the next.

It felt as if I was living lives of hundreds of people at the same time.

Some were really successful people who went on to change the future while others were not as successful and led really mundane lives as they ate, reproduced and died. The different memories going on through my head were really confusing me on what this all was but I concluded it to be something related to time travel.

I was easily able to keep my consciousness as I absorbed the soul information of the entire Konoha. Some more different sets of memories couldn't do anything to me.

"User. Please leave now." I heard Karasuki's familiar voice and I instantly hopped outside the portal and I found myself under the sea.

"The traveling was successful. You are now transported to about 999 years ago at the same place as user entered. Please choose my services yet again. Thank you for using Karasuki's time traveling services." Karasuki said as he disappeared.

I immediately started swimming up as I got to the water surface.

From then on, I controlled my chakra to walk on the water surface as I ran towards the direction where Konoha should've been.

After some more traveling along with some recon with some shadow clones, I was able to conclude a few things.

A big chunk of land in Konoha was under the ocean connecting hanguri gulf and Kanashi ocean.

Water country and all the land masses were submerged in the ocean, joining Hokubu and Kaijuu ocean.

I didn't know what was the reason for so much changes but I just accepted it and moved on as I scouted the remaining area of Fire country.

After finding a small village, I absorbed their souls in order to know about the language as well as the surrounding.

Instantly I got some information and the village where I was, was Land of there, a really small village that traded crops and commodities with neighboring Land of that, Land of this and Land of ancestors. A nation that's sole focus was on growing food and trading it with others to get whatever they needed.

I replaced a few people there with some clones acting as the villagers as I made them conceal themselves to the best of their abilities as I implanted memories in everyone's heads using Rinnegan's genjutsu about a fake persona of myself.

After that, I started working on my new lab.

I started by creating a giant lab underground which can be easily concealed. I bought a lot of equipments in the lab and started cultivating clones yet again.

The race I was dealing with was Otsutsuki and they weren't weak at all. I couldn't take any chances at all.

Carelessness now will result in me being permanently dead forever and being doomed to death or something even worse.

I slowly walked inside the underground lab as I was once again greeted with the same old dark room, where I felt the most comfortable in.
