Chapter-22: Conquering Land of Waves! (Part-I)

After reaching to Tazuna's house, team-7 was relaxing and waiting for Kakashi to wake up.

All they needed to do was to make sure that bridge was complete now and no one can disrupt the progress.

Naruto was inside the soul space the whole time.

He wasn't in the mood to do the mission now. The mental strain was too much for him and he was opposed to killing. Asura's chakra made the tendency to not kill even more strong and his slight reluctance became even more after he saw his first death on mission.

He was in a dilemma and Kazuya just ignored him.

He wanted Naruto to take a step as a ninja and not be a p*ssy but he held himself back. He doesn't want Naruto to become someone who opposes him and currently he had no way to deal with Naruto in case he decides to oppose him and his ideas.

He will try getting Sakura killed in future to see if that holds some effect on him or not. Maybe this may backfire but till that point of time, he will have enough corruption points to create himself a proper vessel.

The land of waves was a big part of that plan.

This also involved Zabuza and Haku dying a little early or him manipulating and controlling Haku somehow.

That is why he left a clone that was disguised as the iron belt that Zabuza wore around his torso.

(Clone POV)

It's been quite a while since I've henged into that iron belt around Zabuza.

It was extremely hard to do as any sort mistake of would end up ruining a lot of progress for boss.

I cannot afford to fail.

After traveling for a while, Haku finally put Zabuza down and tried to treat him but he was already awake.

Zabuza pulled out the senbons from his body.

"The mission is getting too troublesome, isn't it?" Haku asked.

"It doesn't matter. We will still continue the mission. Go and bring me some healing herbs from the forest. My whole body is feeling numb. I can't feel my legs and my arms are asleep as well." Zabuza said as he crawled towards a tree and removed the bandages from his face.

The bandages were useful for silent killing as they muffled the breathing and not letting opponent know your location while hiding. However, the bandages really bothered him if they were wet. He wanted to replace them.

Haku just removed his masked and gave him a smile, "Of course. I am your tool after all."

Haku then changed into civilian outfit in order to not let others know his true identity, scarring my sexuality forever.

I won't allow this boy to change clothes in from of someone like that.

Traps are dangerous in more than one way.

After that, Haku went into the forest in order to search for some herbs to help Zabuza healing.

While Zabuza was changing his bandages, he suddenly noticed that usual weight of his belt felt really weird and so he decided to undo that belt but I just undid the henge and stabbed him in the neck with a kunai while covering his mouth.

"Shut it. Don't make so much noise and just die." I said coldly as I stabbed him repeatedly to make sure he is really dead.

After killing him, I quickly beat his body up with help of a few clones that were hidden as kunai inside his kunai pouch.

I then henged into Gato as best as I could. Others henged into some of the goons. Haku is a useful tool. Not many people can sacrifice their lives to live for someone else. If this works...I can own him as well. And Now...

We wait.

(Haku POV)

I met a really nice Kid named Naruto today.

He was the boy who injured Zabuza-sama but his heart was made of gold. He was same as me...

He had someone precious enough to die for.

To live for.

If we weren't enemies, and met each other in different circumstances, we could've been good friends. Too bad he is the enemy here.

After traveling to the location where Zabuza-sama was but I saw something...that I never wished to see...

Zabuza-sama was dead! BEATEN UP BY GATO AND MEN!

My heart sank as I didn't-

I didn't know what to do...

Only thing on my mind was to...

Kill.

I couldn't believe my world shattered like this, in the most unexpected way...

I lost my sanity momentarily but Zabuza-sama's teaching brought me back.

I immediately rushed towards the Gato who was spitting on Zabuza-sama's dead body.

This enraged me even more.

Suddenly all the goons jumped in my way as Gato quickly ran away.

I tried to slip past them but suddenly they just let me go.

I quickly ran to chase for Gato as I heard the men behind me scream in joy.

"Come on boys! We earned a lot of money to just stop a kid for a few moments! We can survive another day! Thanks...boy! " One of them said as all of them disappeared into the forest while laughing.

I couldn't hear what they said as I was too far.

I was tracking Gato but I couldn't find any sort of clue at all. The footsteps, the smell, the surroundings, everything pointed at a different direction.

It was as if Gato split into several men and travel in that sort of way but Gato isn't a ninja. He cannot do such complex clone jutsu or something.

That means either that wasn't Gato or Gato is getting help from another ninja.

It's the latter as I don't think anyone was follow our tracks.

I quickly ran my mind to think who could do all this but a lot of people came in my mind.

It could be anyone skilled tracker nin and those are a lot.

Zabuza-sama made a lot of enemies in his career as a ninja.

It was first time I felt like this.

Sorrow.

Loss of a loved one.

The feeling was...disgusting.

Zabuza-sama was my...everything...

I lived for him...I-

I don't know what to do...

I went back to where Zabuza-sama's body was but found that Naruto was sitting near him.

"Do you know who is this?" He asked me.

"He was Momochi Zabuza." I said as I grabbed a senbon from my hair and was ready to throw it.

"Quite sad fate, isn't it?" He said as he gave me bitter smile.

"YOU MOCKED WHEN HE DIED! YOU WERE FISHING JUST AFTER HIS DEATH! YOU KILLED HIM! YOU WERE FOLLOWING ME, WEREN'T YOU?" I said as I threw a few senbon toward him as he dodged them.

"I knew he was alive. Hunter nin immediately burn the body. I knew he wasn't dead. That is why I assured Kakashi-sensei to let you go. Perhaps it was a foolish move from my side, but I didn't want human life to be treated like that. As for how did I come here, A few men told me they encountered someone dead in forest." He responded.

I-

I broke down and cried...

It wasn't even the boy's fault...

Oh how I detest this world!

I hate all this misery!

I don't want it to be like this!

(Kazuya POV)

B*llsh*ting your way through life really works.

A few words of sympathy were enough to kill his aggressiveness.

He broke down and started crying. It was quite a sad scene.

It almost made me feel bad.

Keyword being 'Almost'.

I just went near him and tried to let him pour out all the emotions that he had.

"Cry away all the sorrow. Sometimes, death makes us realize more than life ever could. He was also murmuring about someone named Haku in his last moments. Expressing his love and regrets. Do you know who he was talking about?" I said and he cried even more as secretly placed a little sticker on his back.

After a while, he fainted.

I smiled as I looked at Haku. My little plan was successful.

This was a sticker I got from the system.

[Memory loss sticker.]

Quite an expensive sticker.

Costed me all my points.

5000 points that I earned by sneaking a shadow clone into three civilian families and torturing them constantly and imitating them afterwards with Shadow clones. They were families of the kids who bullied Naruto.

This helped me train my stealth skills and imitation skills as well.

As long as no Hyugas activate their Byakugan to check them specifically, I can exploit them.

Their jobs were hard at all. Two were friends and carpenters and another was a dog of one of the civilian council members.

Civilian council's faces were Homura and Koharu but in reality, a big organization of people worked behind them. I discovered a lot of things as I did this. Turns out the first time someone starts hating you gives a lot points but afterwards weak-willed people just accept their suffering and stop giving more points. They just consistently give less points.

That was quite stressful to do. I cannot wait for Konoha destruction plan to start so that I can release them.

Anyway.

This sticker essentially hard resets their memories about everything except their skills.

Making them forget everyone they ever knew, making the victim a moldable clay to play with.

The only flaw is that it requires 7 minutes to activate, intense emotions and killing the person's loved one like family or friends or soemthing.

In this case, Zabuza.

The condition were hard to fulfill but I somehow managed to do it.

Now, we wait...

again...

I will become the owner of Land of waves now.

Starting with Haku, I can continue to employ other people and make a little army of my own that will live and die for me.

Let the misery begin!

That sounded a bit chunni but Whatever. At end of the day, I win and that's what matters.
