The next morning, Kylie eyes fluttered open as the first rays of sunlight filtered through her window. Stretching lazily, she made her way to her son Gravill's room to check on him, only to find it empty. Panic gripped her heart as she searched the house, calling out his name in increasing desperation.

"Georgios, have you seen Gravill?" Kylie asked, her voice trembling with fear. "I can't find him anywhere."

Georgios's face hardened with anger as he turned to face Kylie. "Enough, Kylie. Gravill is old enough to take care of himself. We have more important things to worry about."

"But Georgios, Gravill is your son too," Kylie protested, her voice breaking. "We can't just sit back and do nothing. Something could have happened to him."

In a fit of rage, Georgios raised his hand and slapped Kylie across the face, the sound echoing through the silent house. Shocked and hurt, Kylie recoiled, her eyes wide with disbelief.
