CHAPTER FOUR
DEAD MEAT WALKING
Lara looked at him with a puzzled look, she was not sure what he meant.
Lara: dead meat walking (she frowned as she was in deep thought, Jake couldn't help but smile).
She's really cute Jake said to himself he entered the student council office where she other student wearing a blue band on their shoulders just like Jake, she finally sighed in relief the student keep staring at her whispering and pointing at her.
Jake: you OK (he had a childish grin on his face).
Lara: no am not, they kept Staring at me like they wanted to devour me (she pouted her lips).
Serah: then you shouldn't have offended Jordan. ( Lara turned to look at the young girl, her chestnut hair looks like a giant octupus on her head, she has green eyes and uses spectacles she is very tall and skinny making Lara look like a dwarf, the girl should definitely become a model she must be around 189cm tall).
Jake: meet serah she's in charge of our health.
Lara: Hi am Lara, ( Lara stretched her hand waiting to receive a shake, but the girl just kept her stern look staring at Lara hands as if is infested with germs).
Serah: I just don't shake everyone your hand can be filled with different kind of germs.
Lara was totally mortified she dropped her hand.
Ben: wait your the girl that kissed Jordan ( another student council said bringing the attention of the other two people in the office, Lara turned completely red, she has no idea what to say).
Jordan: no time for question, is almost time for class, Lara here ( he gave her the school guide with rules and regulations to follow, the rest left). One more thing ( Lara looked at him). You should be careful you argued with the snow king. ( he sat down on his chair and rested his head on his knockles).
Lara looked confused
Lara: do you mean that brat
Jake: be careful what you say, the walls have ears ( he said with his eyes closed)
Lara made an O sound with her lips as she nodded her head.
Lara: so he rules the school
Jake: kind of, his Uncle owns the school or should I say our uncle (Lara was shocked, she went closer to him).
Lara: you mean your related to that jerk ( she whispered to him).
Jake: unfortunately yes, we don't see eye to eye. ( Lara nodded her head again, he almost laughed she looked like a student receiving lectures, she's really cute, Jake could not help but stare at the beauty).
Jake was a real gentleman he walked her to the front of her classroom before leaving, she gritted her teeth and looked displeased when she walked in Jordan was sitting in the front, While Jordan eyes darted to her lips he quickly looked at the window as he suddenly felt hot.
Teacher: welcome to A class am your teacher Mr. Jonathan Wick, please introduce yourself. (She stood in front of the class, she felt so smakk because of the way they were looking at her, her palms started sweating).
Cece: she dose not need to introduce herself, everyone knows she's the bitch who tried to seduce brother Jordan ( the girl looked at her mockly).
Mr Jon: Cece, refrain from using vulgar words in my class.
Lara: Hi everyone, am Lara a scholarship student, I hope we all get along (she gave the most friendliest smile).
Cece: it won't be possible since you annoyed our brother Jordan ( she sneered at Lara but Lara disregarded her, she stole a glance at Jordan, just to caught him staring at her).
Mr Jon: Cece I hope I won't have to warn you again. Take a seat (Lara sat at the back, there are a total of eight student in each class room). Today we will be studying about equilibrium.
Lara listened to the lectures and solved some equations it was like her and Jordan were competing to show who is the real genius although Jordan was faster than her in finishing the problems, she didn't back down.
During launch break, non of the students were willing to talk or seat with her, she sat down looking miserable. Until she heard students whisper becoming louder she looked up and saw Jake looking at her.
Jake: can I join you (he threw her a charming smile).
Lara: *smiles* please do.
